A great evening and a great meal. Everything cooked just right and tasted delicious. Service is impeccable. We always look forward to dinner at Morton's.
The food was amazing! Everything from the bread to the Lobster Bisque and especially the steaks were delicious. I highly recommend the Ribeye, just amazing.
Everything was perfect as usual.
Fantastic service by our server and the personal touches for our Aunts 75th birthday.
We had a wonderful time at Morton’s...tasty food, attentive service (Philip), and super atmosphere!
Cocktails, appetizers, salads, wine, steaks with a side dish, and after dinner drinks for two: $243. Food and service was great. The TV’s is the bar that are quite visible from the restaurant was a little weird for a quality steak dinner restaurant.
Most people think of getting steak at Morton's but they have excellent lump meat crab cakes and many other additions to meat dishes. My friend and I each got an appetizer crab cake and a side veggie and one of us ordered a glass of wine. So a bill for so few items came to $88 including the tip. I think it was overpriced but everything else about the experience was wonderful. The chef accommodated a request for turning items into soft food because of my dental problem and I had one of the best meals I've had in a long time thanks to his kindness and competence. The service was excellent; staff works as a team and ensures that customers feel respected and valued. The proximity to the Keller Auditorium was our original reason for choosing Morton's but I will return as many times as I can afford to in the future. It was a wonderful dining experience.
Great for Birthdays to make you feel special.
Great steak house experience. Pricey but worth it.
Excellent as always
Just the best time before the Deep Purple concert in Portland, OR! The staff was amazing and catered to our every need. The food and drinks were top notch! It was a buzzy crowd, but so enjoyable. The prices are high, not gonna lie, but you get what you pay for. LOVE!
Very disappointing. We ordered martinis very dry and they were made "dirty", steaks were a bit overcooked and not juicy, "loaded" baked potato was gluey (comes undressed and the waiter offers butter, sour cream and bacon bits - how is that "loaded"???), bacon on the outside of the scallops was not cooked, shrimp was overcooked, sauteed brussel sprouts were very crunchy. At this price point I expect near perfection - this meal wasn't even close. I'll stick to the Ringside, thank you.
Excellent as usual.
We are always greeted warmly and welcomed by the manager. Our server, James, was exceptional. Friendly and had a wonderful sense of humor. His recommendations were spot on and we followed his advice. We enjoyed a wonderfully paced meal, great food, and an overall wonderful evening.
Planned on celebrating our 11 year anniversary in Portland, primarily because there is no Morton's in Seattle where we live ... so we planned a mini-holiday in Portland the highlight of which was supposed to be a nice dinner at Morton's.
The dinner was a great disappointment!!! Burnt steaks all around, and the tried to remake them ... that too was burnt to a crisp! What on earth happened to Morton's??? When we frequented the one in Seattle before it closed, it was nothing like this! What happened?
My daughter ordered the Braised Beef Rib, that came to the table FROZEN! No joke! I tried and the knife could not cut it, why you ask; get this ... because it was frozen solid!!!
The waiter came, and apologized profusely, the manager "Steve" came apologized profusely and was negotiating with us what to pay for and what not (he was more focused on that) ... he offered to replace the steaks, we declined after the second try - after all, that portion of the celebration was shot, the sooner we left the establishment the sooner we can begin to enjoy the rest of our evening and forget about this bust!
The manager claimed that "people make mistakes", I concurred ... but not after 3 tries. This place "Morton's Portland" will close, if this "quality" continues. No one who knows anything about good steak will go there a second time if they endure a similar experience. Too Bad!
Great place for steak! Love this place👍
Perfect atmosphere and delicious food and drink, everything I wanted in one place.
A bit expensive, but you get quality for the value. Great service. Handles large groups with ease.
Morton's offers a great dining experience if you are not given a lower priority than another group!
My 8 top started out receiving attentive service from waiter Phillip until they also gave him another large table in a different room!
The appetizers and first round of drinks were delivered promptly and we started out totally satisfied. That's when our waiter seemed to disappear!
No second round of wine or beverage? We finally received our salads and then an hour later, our entrees finally arrived. Kitchen slammed or just plain ignored?
All in all dinner was drawn out over 3 hours! Our waiter apologized for the delay and the manager also apologized and generously comped the appetizers. All in all, disappointed in the experience of being ignored for part of the evening and still paid $1200! This same group was previously at a national steak chain on SW 6th and received a more attentive level of service!
We will not return to Morton's.
It was not any special occasion. Just a nice night out with my wife and mother. I am not one to ever do reviews but our experience was not great. I remember the days of the stainless cart with all your amazing selections brought to your table. I remember the bartenders were craftsmen and your servers were attentive. I remember when a simple French Onion soup tasted like onion soup. When most of your order didn't need to be corrected. When your fish dish was cooked all the way through. It is just unfortunate that one of our favorites have fallen off like this.
After the theater. One our best experiences at Morton’s in years
Couldn’t ask for more except lower prices! You get what you pay for though.
Steaks not cooked even remotely close to how they were ordered. Waitress said “I asked if you wanted to send it back”. Kind of snotty. Not what we expect or have experienced previously at a Morton’s. Will not go back to Portland location.
The last three times I have gone to Morton’s the food quality has been lackluster.
We were celebrating friend's anniversary & we were attending the play at the Keller.
Everyone loved their dinners & drinks & desserts.
Awesome place for celebrations!
Chris was very attentive to our needs.
As usual the steaks were very good (actually they were great).
We had a server that we had not had before and she was not at the standard that we typically get from Mortons. We typically get great service. Of course we will return.
We went for a birthday celebration. James was our waiter and did an outstanding job. The filet had a vein of gristle through it that made it difficult to eat and the brocollini had a good flavor but was barely cooked and tough. The tomato bisque was fantastic and we also enjoyed the salmon.
I haven't been to a Morton's in years Incredible food, ambience, and wine selection. Not going to wait so long to come back! Thank you!
James from El Paso, Texas, did a wonderful and job serving us and attending out table that evening. We really enjoyed the time we spent there at your establishment. You guys are a 5 star restaurant with 5 star severs.. !!
Keep up the great work !!
An exceptional place to celebrate an anniversary. The staff is all very friendly and attentive. Thanks for the great evening!
As always, excellent meat, excellent service !! A very nice atmosphere, it is a tall restaurant! Congratulations !!
Such a disappointment. My prime steak was over-salted, and it fought back, too. The potatoes we ordered were over-salted as well. There were too few waiters for the number of guests, and while our waiter was helpful and amiable, he was over-stretched, and the service suffered. I will say that the wine steward made excellent choices, and we liked the wines very much. Overall, however, we sensed that Morton's is in decline.
Amazing. Food was great, service was great, a birthday dinner to remember.
Our Waiter Joseph was awesome. He made us feel very comfortable and relaxed. We enjoyed the food to the extreme and the wine also. I might not be able to enjoy this place often because of the price but I will return again some day especially on special occasions.
We went to see a musical at the Keller auditorium.
Wanted a place close to the show. Such wonderful food and service. Great experience with a great show.
We had a wonderful evening with the family. Enjoyed a nice dinner before seeing the broadway show wicked.
Matt our waiter is beyind attentive and amazing
