Morton's The Steakhouse - Portland
Book your next event with us
Couldn’t ask for more except lower prices! You get what you pay for though.
Steaks not cooked even remotely close to how they were ordered. Waitress said “I asked if you wanted to send it back”. Kind of snotty. Not what we expect or have experienced previously at a Morton’s. Will not go back to Portland location.
We were celebrating friend's anniversary & we were attending the play at the Keller.
Everyone loved their dinners & drinks & desserts.
Awesome place for celebrations!
Chris was very attentive to our needs.
As usual the steaks were very good (actually they were great).
We had a server that we had not had before and she was not at the standard that we typically get from Mortons. We typically get great service. Of course we will return.
We went for a birthday celebration. James was our waiter and did an outstanding job. The filet had a vein of gristle through it that made it difficult to eat and the brocollini had a good flavor but was barely cooked and tough. The tomato bisque was fantastic and we also enjoyed the salmon.
I haven't been to a Morton's in years Incredible food, ambience, and wine selection. Not going to wait so long to come back! Thank you!
James from El Paso, Texas, did a wonderful and job serving us and attending out table that evening. We really enjoyed the time we spent there at your establishment. You guys are a 5 star restaurant with 5 star severs.. !!
Keep up the great work !!
An exceptional place to celebrate an anniversary. The staff is all very friendly and attentive. Thanks for the great evening!
As always, excellent meat, excellent service !! A very nice atmosphere, it is a tall restaurant! Congratulations !!
Such a disappointment. My prime steak was over-salted, and it fought back, too. The potatoes we ordered were over-salted as well. There were too few waiters for the number of guests, and while our waiter was helpful and amiable, he was over-stretched, and the service suffered. I will say that the wine steward made excellent choices, and we liked the wines very much. Overall, however, we sensed that Morton's is in decline.
Amazing. Food was great, service was great, a birthday dinner to remember.
Our Waiter Joseph was awesome. He made us feel very comfortable and relaxed. We enjoyed the food to the extreme and the wine also. I might not be able to enjoy this place often because of the price but I will return again some day especially on special occasions.
We went to see a musical at the Keller auditorium.
Wanted a place close to the show. Such wonderful food and service. Great experience with a great show.
We had a wonderful evening with the family. Enjoyed a nice dinner before seeing the broadway show wicked.
Matt our waiter is beyind attentive and amazing
Wonderful restaurant, great service, great food, a little overpriced. Good location.
Steak was good. Everything else noathing to talk about. My dinner partner only ate half of her steak. Waiter told us he would box it up and we could pick it up after the play. When we did, the steak was not there, only bread and leftover potatos.
They made my birthday really special! I enjoyed the experience a lot.
A very nice meal. The steaks were cooked perfectly and I like mine very rare and it was just right. Good varity on the drink menu also.
Best place for theater tailgating ever! Our party of 6 enjoyed a brilliant meal with classy service. They even held the leftovers for us in the fridge until after the show. The food was cooked to perfection. A very enjoyable experience.
Very loud, slow service, average food. Ringside is the best steakhouse in Portland, but was closed for reservations.
The steaks were some of the best we've ever had. Our server, Shay, was awesome and was very knowledgeable about bourbon and had some recommendations.
And Broadway Play!
Always enjoy our traditions at Morton’s!
Best bartenders ever. Seriously. Good people. Highly recommend. The food is a given. You know it’s going to be bomb because it’s Morton’s. Just go. You won’t be disappointed.
This place is absolutely fantastic. The servers are very polite and attentive. The food is second to none. The atmosphere is wonderful with low lighting and soft noise. It is easy to have a date here and be able to talk without yelling and hear the responses from your date. If not the best restaurant I’ve been to it is easily in the top 3. Highly recommend this place.
Morton’s needs a complete overhaul starting w the menu
Waiter was amazing as was the food
Classic steak house cuisine, ambiance and service.
Interior a little tired but in sync with image.
Knowledge, courteous, attentive staff.
Quality costs and they deliver!
We sat in the bar for an early dinner before a show across the street @ the Keller Auditorium. Chi, Justin and Ramona(?) were amazing. Attentive, charming, personable and ready with suggestions and recommendations. I had the Cajun Ribeye. Now, i always order my steaks on the rare side of medium-rare....but the suggestion was medium. I took a chance and was a revelation. Who knew i was a medium kinda gal (at least where a rib-eye is concerned.) Morton’s is not cheap, but well worth an occasional splurge.
As you can see from the above, we love Morton's. I just noticed that your name says "The Steakhouse". Yes. I agree.
Thank you for another great night.
Me and my buddy wanted to eat at a good steak house and decided to go to Morton's. It was a good choice! We booked through OpenTable App and the booking went through smooth. We were welcomed at the restaurant and sat at the bar for a bit to enjoy the signature cocktail - a Manhatten. Next, we went to the table and ordered steaks with some sides. The meat was tender, the sides (sprouts, and corn) were awesome. Overall we had a great dining experience at Morton's in Portland.
The service was friendly and attentive without being smothered. Steaks were amazing and dessert was that perfect final touch to a great evening. For special occasions I recommend Morten’s!
My 14 yo daughter wanted lobster for her special occasion. Morton had lobster feast special for $69!!! That was a wonderful combination! Lobster bisque, lobster Mac, huge lobsters, and corns and potato. The server was so kind and fun, and helped my daughter with ordering and also working with the huge steamed lobster! My daughter overall did not like the lobster, but was a great experience
I can’t say enough about the quality of food and the exceptional service. Our waiter, James was personable and knowledgeable, making great recommendations. We enjoyed him. Our steaks were prepared perfectly and the timing of the meal was just right.
My only disappointment was in the hostess. I walked in at the same time as another couple and she was on the phone. It was a lengthy call and she never even looked up or acknowledged us. Once her call was finished, her greeting was half-hearted, without warmth. I didn’t feel very welcome until after I was seated.
We had a great experience at Morton’s for a birthday celebration. Our waiter was amazing and answered questions and have suggestions. Food was awesome as always. We will be back.
Fantastic food and awesome staff. Great wine selection. Really nice atmosphere and close to Keller Auditorium. We went before concert. A bit spendy.
Excellent service and attention to detail. Every dish we ordered was great.
This was a very pleasent return visit to Mortons. James our server gave us excellent service and made sure we would make it to the opera ontime. Drinks were good. Food was great. James also saw to it that our credit card was secured after we left it behind. All in all a great dining experience.
We had a lovely birthday dinner for my husband, Mike, who was delighted with our surprise visit to Portland and Morton’s. I had cancelled his work obligations without his knowledge and whisked him away from Sequim, Washington to downtown Portland for three days of surprises, and Morton’s was one of the highlights, to be sure!
Dinner was excellent—the Filet Mignon melted in my mouth and my husband’s Cajun Ribeye steak was also outstanding. Cajun may imply very spicy to some folks, but my husband ordered it moderately spicy and it was perfect, nothing overwhelming but was smokey flavored and out of this world. We paced ourselves and didn’t overdo on the bread or sides in order to save room for dessert. Husband received a complimentary lemon soufflé in honor of his birthday, and I ordered the molten lava chocolate cake. Both were definitely worth the calories!
I have to say that the staff were all wonderful, but I must give a special shout out to our server, Ashley, who offered the perfect amount of attentiveness and who was so helpful when we were choosing what to order off of the incredible choices on the menu—they all sounded so scrumptious, but her suggestions didn’t disappoint. She is a gem.
Hats off to Morton’s entire staff for making our dining experience absolutely perfect in every way.
This is the second time we did you summer special. The first time was great. We had the 6oz filet This time my summer tomato soup was hot was suppose to be served cold. The Chicken was over cooked and my husbands salmon was over cooked.
