Lisa (our hostess) and Rich (our server) were excellent! Lisa is wonderful and Rich has been our server on previous occasions! The food was magnificent and the place was very energetic the evening that we were there! We have never had a bad meal at Morton's/Pittsburgh and recommend it to our friends!

Our waitress was wonderful, she was attentive yet scarce enough she wasn't bothersome. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and will be back again.

Very good food and service; however, our table was right near the entrance to the kitchen so it was a very loud atmosphere with yelling and dishes clanking the whole time.

Our waiter was amazing! Food was excellent and just enough portions. Atmosphere was a little dark but was just enough light to make a great ambiance.

There were four of us for dinner for Pittsburgh Restaurant week and the experience was wonderful. Some times when you go to an event like Restaurant Week, you have a fear that you will not be treated well, but that certainly was not the case. The meals were excellent. Two of us had the filet and two had the double cut pork chop. Our server, Diane, was experienced and friendly. You can always count on Morton's for a great meal

Food was average at a way above average price. Server felt overwhelmed and too busy. We weren’t given the dessert menu until it was really too late to order hot dessert. The mushrooms were too salty and the cauliflower was only moderately warm. Definitely not top steakhouse choice in Pgh - Hyde Park was better. Lobster Bisque seemed greasy. Overall disappointed with this visit.

Anyone who believes that Morton's is priced out of reach for most should consider the superb meal my wife and I enjoyed at the marvelous Downtown Pittsburgh location on Thursday, 11 January 2018. For $40, my promotional meal included a more than ample complete dinner: large loaf of fresh, warm onion bread and whipped butter, caesar salad, cajun pork chop, a full, large order of mashed potatoes, and key lime pie. Everything was delicious. My recent $250 gift card purchase entitled me to a $50 bonus certificate and the Morton's Select Club membership provides further value and perks. Of course, Morton's wonderful ambience and fine service are a part of every feast. We left the table glowing! Bravo!

Extremely disappointed. I was really looking forward to this dinner and the service could not have been any worse. Apparently if you don’t know the staff or order a $300 bottle of wine, no one will pay attention to you. We never received bread until our main course arrived. The filet was cooked rare at best when medium rare was ordered. Our waiter checked our table 3 times all evening even though he was at the table next to us the entire night checking on his friends. I honestly never write reviews and the ONLY reason I am writing one now is so that other couples don’t experience this. Go to Eddie Vs if you plan on having a nice dinner.

Meh. We dine out a lot. Steaks were overpriced with average flavor. Potatoes Au gratin were yesterday’s baked potatoes diced up with some cheese thrown on them. Asparagus was just steamed, nothing special. Onion bread was dry. Service was average. It’s hard to find a good steak at a restaurant. We decided that we could have gone to a Lone Star and had just as average of an experience as we did at Morton’s but at a price that would have left us feeling as though we recieved what we paid for.

Food way too expensive. $62 NY strip and not even that tender. $45 for tiny filet. Should get something with the high priced entrees. We split potatoes au gratin... needed cooked more. Service & chocolate dessert good. Wine not that great. Coffee not good quality. They need to lower prices..... lots of good restaurants in Pittsburgh. Andrew’s steakhouse in casino as good or better.

We had Christmas dinner with friends at Morton's. Our server was excellent, efficient friendly and knowledgable. Dinners were well prepared and large in quantity. The only downside was the final bill. OUCH! Probably the most expensive restaurant in Pittsburgh. The wine list was very overpriced. Morton's you need a few moderately priced wines and meals otherwise you will be reduced to expense account meals and not the normal Pittsburgh's.

The filet was not cooked as requested to rare plus and the bone in filet was extremely grisly and tough to chew. Waiter brought dinners out before we completed our salads, we had told him we were in no hurry so we were extremely disappointed to be rushed

Steak is always the first option, but once you see the menu, you start to think of so many other things. Tried the lobster mac and cheese - delicious. Start with a cocktail, many good ones to choose from.

This was my second time to Morton’s. Usually I’m Ruth’s Chris all the way when I feel like overpaying for steak. Overall the experience was good. However, servers were slow due to what appeared to be an understaffed restaurant. Food was good for the most part. 2/7 people in our group had their steaks cooked to incorrect specifications. Sides were good, dessert was good, appetizers were good. Nothing to blow your hair back though. I would go back but for less money and better service and food I’d go elsewhere.

100% Excellant. Only issue was we told Sean, waiter we has time constraint with show. We pre-ordered deserts. Sean got swamped and we were pressed for time. Had to get desserts to go. Chocolate suflay did not last going home. Not something you want to get to-go. We had 2 1/2 hours from when seated but still ran out of time

Delicious food. Since we were celebrating my birthday and they knew when we reserved, they took a picture and provided a free dessert of our choosing. They also provided dated birthday menus. Service was attentive and it was a comfortable, quiet atmosphere for talking.
The cost was more than we would usually spend on a meal, even for a special meal but the quality was excellent.

We went for an early dinner before a concert and the staff was excellent about watching the clock for us so we would not be late. The food and the service were, as always, excellent. The nine of us chose a variety of choices and all were good. The truffle cauliflower dish is a must try. Yum!
