Cajun Ribeye Steak
Five Peppercorn Rubbed Prime Strip Steak
We took our two grandsons to celebrate some very special birthdays. The staff was wonderful and our waiter was exceptionally kind and very attentive to our table. This was a very special time and we were treated exceptionally well.
Food was great but we did wait a while for our food (45 mins) and the price could come down a little.
It was a Father’s Day dinner with our family of 5. Our request for a round table was honored, and the service was excellent, even though the place was full. The managers were even hustling to make it all work in what everyone knows is a short staffed food service industry. The food was perfect. It was that good....hot, perfectly prepared steaks for all five of us, and the sides were all awesome.
Excellent service, excellent meat and seafood selections!
good service, great food
Impeccable service, excellent cuisine PERFECT!!
had a great meal and they make you feel like family.
This restaurant was an outstanding experience. It was my boyfriend’s birthday and they made him feel special lol but not too over the top. Very classy and respectful. Food was also amazing along with the experience!
A dear friend who I haven’t seen in over 10 years we met for dinner and had a grand time!! The drinks, food ,ambiance and service the best!!
We waited quite a long time for our food in excess of an hour. Also a couple of things that we ordered were not available though on the menu.
Morton's has portions suitable for sharing. We shared the Caesar salad, the potato the side, and the strawberry swirl cheesecake. I both had steak entrees which were cooked perfectly. With the extremely busy "post-pandemic" dining rush, our meal was understandably drawn our longer than normal but this did give us more time for conversation and digestion. Our waitress Ke... was exceptional.
Ambiance was ok. Poor service due to us sitting there for 3 hours and receiving our appetizers during the first hour and our entrees during the last half hour. Drinks were mediocre and they ran out of lobster bisque. Will definitely NOT be back.
Table was too small for party of 5. They Kindly offered to move us to an appropriately sized table but we were next to an enormous party and the ambient temperature was easily 85 and humid with no air movement. Food was either cold or poorly prepared. Sent multiple items back. To be fair, the servers were doing the best that they could but everything was just disappointing from an overall experience. Manager was kind and comped a couple things but we ended up canceling dessert just so we could get out of there. It was just so hot and unpleasant.
Great food & environment. Way too long for total dinner service 3.5 hours.
I couldn’t be more disappointed. This is the 2nd time in a row with a bad experience and it will likely be the last visit. The manager gave us a small discount, but with a $400 bill I’d expect a fantastic dinner. The food wasn’t cooked properly (even the 2nd attempt wasn’t cooked well), the server was mostly MIA and I stopped counting after the 6th time a server went through and kicked my chair. Not a single apology for running into the chair or when the table was shaken by a pass that shook the glasses. Food was subpar, service was terrible and we didn’t stay for dessert simply because we just wanted it to end. This is what has happened to my favorite restaurant in pittsburgh. I guess I’m looking for a new favorite.
Excellent service and delicious food
Have not been to a Morton’s in years. Glad we went. Steaks were fantastic! Appetizers were excellent too. Had the button mushrooms as one of our sides and they were delicious. Our other side (brussel sprouts) was ok, but not seasoned enough. Still, great dining experience with an excellent waiter leading the way with excellent suggestions (bacon wrapped sea scallops). Sorry I can’t remember his name to give him the credit he deserves.
food was excellent but patrons at near by tables were VERY loud. Also the Trainee was a little too eager always finding out how we were etc
We had a special Birthday celebration and the dinner was incredible. The Food was perfect. Our waiter JR and the the rest of the team gave us awesome service. The atmosphere of the restaurant is great. I recommend it to anyone looking for a great dinner and especially a great steak and super seafood.
Bacon wrapped scallops were okay, bacon was rubbery, but can’t cook bacon enough without over cooking scallops. Wagu meatballs were edible. My filet was basic, the two grilled shrimp that I added were very tough. The bone in fillet that was up sold claiming it had so much more flavor...didn’t. The sangria was a weak pour, the Bessie (something) was a good drink. The waiter forgot to place one of our orders...came out after the meals. And the “baked in house” molten chocolate cake was good in flavor (how could it not be, it’s molten chocolate), but nothing different than Friday’s. After spending almost $300.00 for two people, I was left feeling as burnt as the onion bread they started us out with.
Great dinner at Morton’s, the good and service were outstanding!
The server was excellent and made our experience of celebrating my daughter’s graduation memorable. Food was also excellent.
Very nice. Great service and food
Menu superb, steaks cooked perfectly, selection more than adequate, nice atmosphere, good service. Great experience.
We go to Mortons on special occasions. This time it was to celebrate a wedding anniversary. The lack of valet parking (because of the lockdown) made it a little harder to get to the restaurant. Also it was raining. The restaurant itself was superb. My favorite is the wide choice of filet mignons - I had the 14 oz bone in version. The wine and cocktail selections were very good. Great ambiance and customers widely separated. Service was excellent - thanks Cassie. I have been to this restaurant several time and have not been disappointed. It is expensive, so reserve it for special occasions.
I waited a year for our anniversary to roll around - due to the year of closure because of the pandemic - and was waiting with "baited breath" for our $100 dinner to take place. Needless to say, the food we ate was not up to par with other restaurants we have dined in in the Pittsburgh area. The chopped salad wasn't bad, but had WAY too much bacon on it. My husband liked your bread.
Birthday dinner- restaurant had few patrons, but dinner service was extremely slow. Food was okay- not great for the price.
ALWAYS a great meal with outstanding service and atmosphere.
Lisa Lewis is the best manager of any restaurant we have ever been to. Kerri was a wonderful server and the food was spectacular. It is the best dining in the city. Kudos again!
High School Graduation. Graduate impressed with personalized menu as well as the awesome food.
We both ordered the 8 oz Filet and they were both cooked to perfection and melted in your mouth. The sides were very good also. The service was great too.
Great birthday with special menu, complimentary dessert and photograph. The 8 oz Filet Mignon was delicious with sides of mashed potatoes and spinach for two which were quite ample. I chose a glass Pinot noir for the wine to accompany the filet.
This was my anniversary. We traveled from florida to eat at the restaurant that we had out first date. The service started off good. Then the server stopped waiting on us. We arrived at 7pm and got our entras at 8:50. The mgr tied to say it was because they got a few large parties. I don't work here, it's unprofessional and unfair to us as a party of four that before the because you felt you have to deduction spent $325 for dinner in this economy. I feel that someone other than the mgr on duty should be reaching out to me, we can go anywhere but we came to you. I'm truly disappointed in the night and this location.
Fantastic dining experience as usual. Service was excellent.
Great to be back. Food and service were both great. The staff treats everyone as special and we enjoyed our evening.
Took over two hours to receive our food. The waitress did apologize and said there were two large tables in the back rooms that ordered before us so the meant our tickets were after theirs. Husband's bone in ribeye was very good and tender but my filet mignon was tough and ver sub par. Sides were okay but not spectacular. Didn't end up ordering dessert since it took so long for our food to come.
Enjoyed a nice Mother's Day meal at a busy Morton's. Service was attentive but not hovering. The miso poached sea bass was flavorful and cooked perfectly. Some texture contrast in the presentation would have made it even better. The bacon wrapping the scallop appetizer should have been crisper, and the filet was a bit overcooked, but understandable considering the crowd. The lobster mac n cheese is an indulgence that you won't regret.
Very dissappointed in the quality of the lobster tail--extremely small and tough. The rest of our order was satisfactory---service very slow
Mother's day dinner, restaurants was operated. Service poor and food was moderate.
