Cajun Ribeye Steak
A bit too darkly lit
Great steak and service
Service was great and the food was the best I’ve had at a steakhouse in years. I asked somm for Cali red medium bod moving to deeper stuff for #2. Asked for a little dust. 2015 meritage and a 12 cab were spot on. And exactly at price point requested. Superb job by M’s and I told everyone i hung w that weekend that they rocked it.
Was just okay. Probably won’t go back. I ordered a bone in ribeye, but received a regular ribeye. Didn’t care enough to mention anything. Plenty of other steakhouses around to go to over this place. Very disappointing for the prices.
As always Morton's was great. They never disappoint. My steak was cooked perfectly and tasted great.
Fantastic service & very much appreciate the special touches.
( Menu, photos , etc.)
Dan in the bar and Lisa the manager are fantastic! The food is always great!
The food was excellent as usual. Our waiter, Ryan was fantastic and took great care or us.
Dan and Lisa always make us feel special! Our Favorite place!
Great atmosphere and they made us feel welcome! Took our picture and made our date night special!
Reservations @ 8. Drink at bar till 8:20, sat down & was told the kitchen was slow, 1st course at approx. 9pm, main course @ 10:10pm. Had already finished our wine by the time our main course arrived. That was our 40th & 41st (covid delayed) anniversaries, dinner at Morton's pretty much ruined that.
They overbooked due considering an understaffed kitchen, The kitchen worked their tails off but they were overwhelmed
Amazing experience and the food was cooked to perfection
Like many restaurants, Morton's seems to be short staffed these days. Our server was fantastic, but clearly spread way too thin - long waits for food, had to flag people down for drink refills and checks.
Not up to their pre-COvid standards. Very understaffed and the staff they do have is not well trained. Lacking a lot of attention to detail which you would expect at this type of dining experience. For example, the bread that was delivered was delicious and when we finished it, the waiter asked if we would like more however it never came. Similarly, the wine arrived halfway through the meal. Restrooms lacked soap and hadn't been cleaned recently. Each of these is a little thing which on its own can be overlooked as an oversight or because of a busy night but there were too many overall. Finally, although the menu hasn't changed post-Covid, many of the listed items were not available. No oysters, soufflé etc.
First time at Morton’s for 2 years, great experience
Celebrated our 38th anniversary and it was wonderful!
our server went above and beyond to make sure that we were having the best anniversary dinner possible and it was absolutely just that. the staff ( and a regular! ) made us feel so special tonight. thank you to everyone who helped us tonight (‘:
We enjoyed our dinner at Morton’s. The food and service were excellent as usual.
This was not at all the night out we’d expected. I’m not sure why there is a dress code listed because it is certainly not enforced. Jeans, tennis shoes, bralettes, baseball caps…. It looked like we were at a south side bar. Easy enough to look away from I suppose, but there was no getting away from the noise. There was a table of men who were so loud you could follow their entire conversation from across the room which was already fairly noisy. Loud and obnoxious. I was also surprised that they let non diners in to use their restrooms… very strange. To top the night off, a party of 3 brought their toddler into the restaurant and parked his stroller, (which he was not using), next to their table, (making it difficult for the staff to get around). As any toddler would do when bored and hungry, he ran around, climbed on the table, cried… such an odd place to bring a toddler. I love kids. I love a fun environment. I even love athletic wear and club clothes…. However, I go out for “upscale” dinners to avoid the very environment we were stuck in for the evening. I will say, our server was great!
Amazing experience and wonderful service. Thank you so much ☺️
Morton’s is always amazing. They know how to make a special occasion even more special. The staff was so kind and gracious. The food was phenomenal. Thank you again for helping us celebrate
Our server was fantastic. The food service was timed right. Not too fast or slow. The food was cooked to perfection. The host made my evening and the picture he captured was the added bonus and memory for the night. We will definitely be back!!
Food was great. I love chicken and seafood but tonight’s steak was delicious. Absolutely perfect. No room for side dishes, which by the way tasted great. Chocolate cake was amazing!!
Service was great from the hostess to the end.
Steak over seasoned, tastes like Outback.
Excellent food and fun time.
Excellent food and service. Only issues was that there was a table of seven behind us there for a birthday which is fine but honestly do you have to sing three verses then clap loudly and laugh boisterously? Read the room people. It's not Chili's.
This was my first time dining at this restaurant and it was restaurant week. I was expecting it to be really busy but it wasn’t so that was great. Our waiter was great. We didn’t have to wait long for anything and he wasn’t checking up on us too much. The food was great! Wouldn’t recommend the key lime pie though.
Excellent food, great service
The food was fine. Service started out slow but was okay. Neither were to the level you would want at this level of restaurant. Seating was poor we were placed in a side room they use for group events. The ambiance was poor in that room.
I loved everything about my experience here. The food was excellent but so were the people. Every person I encountered helped me feel welcomed. It was truly wonderful
Always a fine dining experience. Restaurant week menu put the portion sizes more to our liking.
The menu was really good. The food was seasoned very well. I loved the setting.
Sat us is a strange forgotten back overflow room. Felt like a funeral home. Light fixtures out, broken art glass, just old and tired.
Food cannot hold a candle to the other steak ‘staples’ in the city.
Service was adequate.
Will never go back.
Always have loved Morton’s. This time was a bit below par from normal. It seemed that they were short staffed as the service was slow (I know the waitress was hustling but just had too many tables). The quality of the food was good but it was not hot and the sides were dry and seemed to have been sitting awhile before we were served. I understand the environment we are in and will go back despite this sub par experience.
We had a great server which made our experience even better we’ll definitely be back
I want to love it here! Unfortunately, it hasn’t lived up to my expectations. Went during restaurant week but the service was awful. Waitress didn’t come over for 15 minutes, didn’t know the drinks, spilled the drink, brought the wrong food, missed the order completely and didn’t get the deserts right. Restaurant is packed and people seem to be enjoying it. Maybe it’s just the few times I’ve been here…
Food was just ok for restaurant week. None of our steaks were cooked the way we requested and food wasn’t that warm. Dessert was the highlight.
I believe Ryan was our waiter. He was not interactive with us. We were there for my birthday and he didn't even acknowledge it. There was a menu with Happy Birthday and my name on it which I left cuz I don't feel it was celebrated there.
The bartender Paul- pre dinner and the host were great.
The food was delicious. the portions of soup were quite small, but everything was hot and delicious.
Our experience was not as great. The staff seemed a little short which was totally fine bc I understand with COVID, waited a little bit over an hour for main course but was not a big deal. Our steaks were got as good as usual- over cooked, kinda dry and not seasoned too well. Everything else was good. Not sure if it was bc it was restaurant week but food has def been netter
