The ribeye was very chewey. Flavor great. The shrimp Alexander was mediocre
If you're looking for great steaks and service, this is where you go.
I’ve eaten at several different Morton’s, and this was was the least impressive. Kept having to ask for waster and there were only 4 tables he had to wait on. The food was good, just the service was disappointing.
As usual, Morton’s didn’t disappoint. The twin lobsters were sweet and succulent and cooked to perfection. The filet melted in your mouth. We had the lemon soufflé for Desert and I genuinely believe it is the best lemon soufflé anywhere!
Was a wonderful evening with great food and excellent service. Everything was right and very much appreciated by my wife and me. The general manager, Josh Soto, personally assisted us with a special request for which we were very thankful for. Truly a special night at Mortons.
The food and the service was exactly what I would expect at Morton's!
Anniversary dinner, there were four of us and it all was great!!
Service was a little slow but the overall experience was good.
Everything is over priced and the meats for being labeled prime left more to be desired.
I have eaten at Morton's several times. This visit was just okay. Nothing stood out as special for the price.
The food is Great! The service is impeccable. I ordered soup, salad and 2 appetizers and 1 dessert. I enjoyed all of them very much!
Steaks and lobster was the best you can get anywhere. Service was the best! Everyone including the manager took an interest and stopped by several times to ensure all was fine.
We live in the neighboring community of Mortons so for a special occasion, we took a special friend to celebrate her 69th birthday. I had reservations and told the it was for a birthday. In all restaurants when you have a birthday, the staff presents the birthday person with a complimentary desert. Guess what, they charged us $18.00 for her desert!!! We will never go again; sorry.
My Husband and I were visiting Palm Desert and we came across Morton's. We have been to a number of them and have never been disappointed! We were extra lucky on this occasion as they were having a 4 course summer special. It was a great deal. Filet, salad, side & dessert WOW! it was excellent. The waitress was super nice and it was just a great time. When we are visiting Palm Desert again, Morton's will definitely be on our list. Thanks
Very accommodating and great service. I ordered the filet medium rare and it took 3 tries for them to get it up to temperature. By that point it was tough and tasteless. My husbands porterhouse was phenomenal and worth a trip back.
Fabulous in every way: food, service and ambiance. All made for a very special evening
Good for special occasions but be prepared to pay for the upgrade.
Had an amazing time, service was great and food was great. Glad we went.
Once again Morton's delivered a great meal with us feeling like valued clients from the moment we were greeted by the hostess to when Josh the GM came by a couple of times to make sure the wine, steaks and service were perfect to our waiter anticipating what we may need and brining it to us before we had to ask. The Cajun ribeye, shrimp Alexander and key lime pie are a must if you stop by. And remember to ask for Josh if you are looking for a great wine recommendation. He is a level two Sommelier and knows his stuff!!!! Of course if you have a special request like we did, call during the day and ask for Christine. She customized the menu to honor my parent's special occasion along with taking care of a few details to make the night memorable.
Had a excellent meal, wonderful service we will be back
Always a treat. Rocky and Nolani make for a special evening. Thanks again.
Josh Soto, the general mgr, was very courteous and attentive as well as the staff. The potatoes au gratin and mushroom and spinach side dishes were very good and went well with our steak. We will definitely come back.
The lobster was inedible. Easiest the worst I have ever had. The sides were not good and our guests disliked their entrees. Deserts were good. The service was very unprofessional and not commensurate with the price of meals. The music was extremely loud and difficult to talk over especially since all the restaurant patrons were having to speak loudly to be heard over the music. They only played jazz music which I dislike. The entrees were so bad that I will never return to this restaurant. It’s the worst dining experience that I’ve had in the Coachella Valley.........by far!
Rocky was one of the best servers ever! Amazing! Well knowledged about the menu!
My wife and I were there celebrating our 2nd wedding anniversary. The ambiance was wonderful and the customer service was great. The food was good, however we did find two shells in our lobster macaroni and thankfully, Morton’s compensated by giving us free dessert and wine to my wife. If we ever return to Palm Desert, we’ll visit this location again.
Wonderful service from the first step into the door all the way to be greeted goodnight.
Morton’s is my wife’s favorite steakhouse above all the others ( Fleming’s, Ruth Chris and Maestros, etc. ). The host was sweet and professional, he came to us shortly after sitting us down at the booth. He took a great picture of us and placed it in a personalized Morton’s frame.
The waiter was very attentive and on point with making sure all our concerns were met.
Our steaks looked a bit over cooked on the outside and a bit under cooked on the inside. My wife was sick during our visit so she couldn’t taste much but she kept a smile on her face.
Great dinner. Waiter treated us to a souffle for our anniversary. Made the night special.
Always excellent with great food and great service
The food was cooked to perfection and never disappoints.
Can't go wrong with a bone in rib eye!! The food is delicious and they servers is superb.
Josh is the best !! Rocky is a great server. Food is great. Compliments to the kitchen. Love the Cajun Ribeye.
Wonderful ambiance, upscale dining. We were a group of 6, the Salmon, Steak and Chocolate molten cake were outstanding. The Caesar salad and Key Lime Pie were mediocre. Great wine selection but very pricey. Good service, friendly and professional.
There were four of us, all having the tenderloin, each a different way. The steaks came out perfect for each of us. Side dishes were ample and tasty. We had the restaurant week menu and the selections were very enticing. One comment is that the waiter did not bring the special menu for restaurant week, only the standard menu. It seemed like he was hoping that we weren't aware of it so we would order the more expensive dishes off the standard menu. He was also a bit brusque though not unfriendly...and he was attentive.
The food was excellent and the service was even better.
Excellent meal. Filet mignon cooked to perfection everytime. Ask for David to be your server and your meal will be complete. Excellent lemon drop martini.
Very disappointing on all levels. The waiter was inattentive, they were out of the wine we had ordered and as explained by the waiter "life isn't perfect", the horseradish mashed potatoes
were fine, subtle yet tasty, the brussels sprouts were a little too al dente and the filet had seen better days, as in chewy. The salad was tasteless.
We ordered the chocolate souffle as soon as we sat down and yet it was runny when served for dessert. The waiter never asked if we wanted coffee and I had to flag him down to ask for it.
I have been to enough Morton's to know that this was sub par. The car wash I go to has a better trained staff than the hostess, maitre'd and wait staff at this joint.
And to top it off there was an infant in a carrier sitting on the table at the booth next to us.
Aren't there any standards for dining in "fine" restaurants any more. Some patrons looked like they had just come from mucking out their stable. Louise's Pantry has a better atmosphere.
It was supposed to be a fun night out for my husband's birthday but all we could talk about on the way home was how bad it was and where we should have gone.
I could have had more fun tearing up one hundred dollar bills in a cold shower. At least it would have felt like sailing.
At $49/person, not the quality and value of Ruth's Chris $39. However, the dining room and ambiance were great. The service was very good. The tables were not packed in too tightly...a good thing compared to other restaurants.
It was very busy but our wait staff were very attentive. The food was amazing.
Awesome food, service and atmosphere.
We have always enjoyed Morton's for their outstanding meals and service. Our experience at this location was a little disappointing with the slow service. The delay appeared to be in the kitchen, as our server thanked us several times for our patience. It also appeared that there was a shortage of wait staff. Our server seemed a little overwhelmed.
