This is our go to spot for a special fantastic dinner! Again, it did not disappoint.
Everything is great. We go every four to six weeks. We are never disappointed. Great service, wines and food. West Palm Beach location is the best.
Passe food, tired menu, meh ambiance (hasn't changed in 10 years).
Morton's has rested on its laurels too long. We were disappointed with the quality of the food; poor cut of beef, overcooked fish and the tired dessert choices (1995 called... they want molten chocolate lava cake back). The cheap steakhouse quality food didn't justify the extremely large pricetags. Had this been a Sizzler, I'd have given a better review. But it's not... it's supposedly one of the top steakhouses. And it disappointed.
On a positive note, the service was extremely well-done. I'm glad to see the focus on one of the most important elements of a restaurant.
I hope they can breathe life back into the old place. Start with a new chef, new menu.
The front door opens right into the restaurant area, this makes the dining area drafty, and noisy. The bar is right off the front door, and adds to the noise. With an exposed hostess station, and a long wait before any one even noticed we were there, the evening did not start well.
The chopped spinach salad is very good. We both had filets and scallops. Although cooked correctly, the bacon completely overwhelemed the scallops. We rarely send food back, but my husbands steak was so overdone, we did return it.
There was not enough bus help, so our waitress was busing tables herself, slowing down service. As the roon filled up, service got slower.
We were charged for 3 filets on our bill... so had to return to have the bill correc
We made a reservation weeks in advance for a birthday celebration. The date was a Sunday evening during playoff football games so the place was empty. So why were we seated next to the kitchen? I did ask for a booth but many others were available. The waiter told me the spinach salad was not just spinach. Well, yes it was. The dressing was to die for,though. My filet I ordered medium rare was medium. I should have asked for rare. The flavor was wonderful but I have had more tender steaks onboard both Royal Caribbean and Holland America! My $13 cocktail as overpriced. Don't call it a champagne cocktail and serve me Prosecco. But the souvenir birthday picture they gave us was lovely, and the free dessert was a nice touch.
Although I had a reservation for 8:15 p.m., they were over a half an hour late in seating my party of 6 and it did not appear to bother them. I tried to get drinks at the bar and had to run down the bartender and then had to pay right away(was not even offered to start a check) like I was not good for the money, in Palm Beach! The Bartenders were not pleasant at all. Some desserts have to be ordered ahead of time, we were not told that by the waiter until the time came for dessert and then was told 15 minute minimum to make them, so make sure you do so if you go.
We did have one issue with the dinner order but the restaurant went above and beyond to remedy the issue. We had a lovely birthday celebration.

Great atmosphere. A most enjoyable evening with great friends! We all had a wonderful time.
We were greeted and seated promptly. We ordered wine for dinner. The wine list had numerous red wines to choose. The waiter took our dinner order immediately as requested. Our steaks were cooked to perfection. The vegetables were served hot. We loved the keylime pie we had for desert. We will return again. It's our favorite Steakhouse.
The service was excellent our waiter was friendly and personable. The food was outstanding, after dinner we sat outside and the waiter brought our wine outside to enjoy it. Also they had a nice cigar menu. Great as usual.
Overall the evening was very enjoyable. We had the steak and seafood special. It was excellent and a great value for the dollar. The staff was outstanding. We will certainly be returning. Thank you for a great dinning experience.

Have been eating here for years -- food and service consistently top notch.
They could not handle New Year's Eve diners. For a 9 PM reservation, we were not seated till 9:45. When the steaks arrived they were room temperature, and when we sent them back, one steak meant to be medium was red nearly all the way through. It was a very disappointing NYE dinner, and we will certainly choose somewhere else next year. Flagler Steak House in PB is clearly a better option for a busy night.
This is a great steak house and the food is wonderful along with the service. A place to go back to time an time again.
Latest trip to Morton's was on New Years Eve. They were very busy and we had to wait 20 minutes to be seated even with a reservation, but that is not unexpected given the holiday. This is a very noisy room and was even more so this time , so much for a quiet dinner. As always the food was very good. Service was only fair as we ordered dessert and waited 30 minutes before we had to tell the waitress that she had forgotten us, this should happen in an upscale restaurant like Morton's . Overall Morton's is quality food as it should be as it is an expensive night out.
The 8 ounce filet was very good. The 6 ounce filet was just a 12 cut in half. It was very thin and way over cooked. A waste of money for a filet. Service was good. There are many other places to spend $250.00 and get better steaks.
Great place to go when celebrating or just having a good meal.

We had relatives visiting who are true carnivores and wanted a steak. Where else but Morton's would fit the bill - Although we are seafood lovers Morton's has fabulous seabass, salmon and crab cakes. The spinach & mushroom side dish is yummy.
Though the food was excellent, The service great, and the ambience nice, the prices were out of sight. I could not have afforded to go there if I didn't have a gift certificate. I would recommend it to friends with LOTTSSSSSS of $$. Wish I could afford to go again, but it is out of my price range. But what a meal!!! Too bad at those prices, you get nothing but the meat, with all else alacarte.
The steaks were very good and the service prompt, friendly and attentive.
Dinner for 2 - no special occasion. I had the ribeye steak and the twice baked au gratin potatoes. Neither met my expectations - and I was especially disappointed with my steak when the bill came to over $200.
The quality of steak is alway perfection. The alaskan king crab, perfectly prepared.

I 'm not sure what some of the negative reviews are about, but our dinner Sat night before the Jersey Boys show was almost perfect. Our waiter, Michael, gave us the low down on the menu including specials. We asked his opinion on the steaks and side dishes and he was right on! My wife ordered the Chicago rib-eye medium well, and I ordered the NY Strip medium plus ( slightly pink on the inside vs. pink for medium). We ordered lyonnaise potatoes and grilled asparagus for the sides ( also on Michael's suggestion). We also ordered a caesar salad for her and a fav, escargots for myself as appetizers. We told him that we had to be out by 7:30 to get to our show ( it was 6 PM) and he said no problem.
Appetizers & drinks came out in 10 minutes.

Have been a Morton's customer since the 80"s. Have dined in probably 10 different Morton's locations and in NYC 3-4 times a year.
Never been to the Palm Beach location before, and it certainly didnt look or feel like Morton's. NO MORE menue presentation with the HUGE lobster and giant baked potatoes. WHen we asked why, the waiter said its because new ownership stopped that a few months ago. What?
The dining room was 1 large square room without a plant chandelier or any ambiance whatsoever. Boring would be an understatement.
Thank God the food was fantastic, as usual.
Every time we go to Mortons we're never disappointed.
On average we're there every 6-8 wls. Everything in beef or fish is delicious.
Sometimes all that's needed is to pay attention to details. There's a lot of potential here. If there's a concern for 'where are the specifics here' ?? Am sure that any of the staff could supply them.

I've been to many Morton's throughout the US over the past several years. Probably 30 separate visits in all. This was the first since the Landry acquisition. Sadly, it will be my last. The place just doesn't have that same "Clubby" vibe that it used to. I felt bad for the manager, she was spending a lot of time walking the tables apologizing for various things. I had never felt rushed before at Morton's, and we had barley been seated when the server was trying to get my order in. Had to ask twice for my before dinner drink, and the steak came with a blood red center, not medium as I had ordered it. Shame, an institution that I really enjoyed gone forever.
The manager, Lisa, is amazing. Great personality and extremely attentive. She makes our dining experience at Morton's extra enjoyable! (Plus she has a beautiful singing voice!)

Everything is always excellent. The evening was very special...food and service was terrific. Will return even when we are not celebrating a special occasion.

First-timers to Morton's WPB. Slightly below expectations with regards to service which may be simply characterized as "sincere when here" and atmosphere/ambience which reminded of Southern California strip mall locations, but hey, that doesn't mean the food can't be good. Certainly above expectations with regards to quality and quantity of food. Wife - very picky salad-eater - was very positively impressed. I went for the cholesterol trifecta of steak, shrimp and bacon-wrapped scallop. Yummy! Why will I be coming back? Because the Belvedere straight-up with a lime twist arrived (both times!) in a generous-sized glass filled to just below the top; what we call a "man's pour!" Overall: good+.
we have not been to Morton's for a while since we do not have one in our area. This was a real treat for us. The food is outstanding as well as the service. If there is a Morton's near you, you must try it. The hostess Lisa was very friendly and made our dinner a real delight.

We went do participate in the Flavor of Palm Beach and my guest and I were HIGHLY disappointed in the quality of our entree. He ordered the 6oz filet mignon and I would compare it with a low-quality grocery store steak, served on a cold plate with over-cooked asparagus. I ordered the honey-chili salmon, which I was looking forward to because I love the mix of sweet and heat... this salmon had neither flavor. Actually, it hardly tasted like fresh salmon. When I asked the waitress for extra sauce, she said 'oh, they put it on lightly in case people don't like the heat'. Well, if you can't handle spicy, DON'T order something with CHILI in the title. I'm convinced my salmon was NEVER glazed at all, but tasted edible after I did it myself.
The onion's soup was overbook.....
But rare stake was very yamy !!!

We went there on my daughter's birthday. I had made a note on the reservation about it being her 16th birthday. When we got there they had printed special menus for us that said, "Happy 16th Birthday" on them. The service was very good and the steaks were delicious. My daughter felt very special and had a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back.
