View Private Dining DetailsAll the food was delicious, as always ... Service was extremely personable and committed to our having a fine evening ... The acoustics in the handsome room are excellent, there is an energy and liveliness one expects at a steak house, but blessedly, you don't have to shout at your table mates to be heard. This is one of the nicest and most consistently excellent Morton's in the chain (and I've been to a great many of them).
The bar was packed at 6:00 on a Thursday so we waited for about 10 minutes until a group left to the dining room. It was nice to have them all leave, but the only problem was, the bar now half filled, the bartender was slow to take our order. Then, I had to ask if our food was ready and he left and brought back lukewarm artichoke dip and fries that had obviously been sitting there for awhile. We will go back, hopefully just a one-off night.
Great server Excellent food
Aaron was a wonderful server and the food was excellent!
Very poor service with waitress having screwed up our order, and, while nice, was not very attentive. And there were maybe five other tables occupied. Food was fine, but for the same $ I’d rather eat at Gibson’s or even Eddie Merlot.
Steak was awful
Crab legs smelled like fish
郊外の気取らないステーキハウスではあるが、わざわざダウンタウンの本店まで行かなくてもこのレベルの食事とサービスを楽しめる良いお店だと思う。
First it took 10 minutes if not more for the waitress to even come to our table. Food is ok, extremely overpriced for what you get. My "medium" filet was well done and burnt, 3 small shrimp, scallops were just ok. $13 for a side of mashed cauliflower? We knew this was a more expensive place, but what you pay for the food and service do not match up with the prices.
Great steaks and service.
Anniversary. Great food, service, and topped off with chocolate Souffle
Great food, as always.
Our dinner was outstanding along with the service.
We did not have to wait for a table. The food was delightful and the service was good. The place was a little noisy at 7:30 on a Friday, but within 30 to 40 minutes it was very calm.
We would definitely go back for a special occasion
Wonderful meal with superior service
Just perfect - they never cease to amaze you us ever time- love love ❤️
This was amazing food. Service was amazing! Loved everything about it. Can’t wait to go back.
Great waitress
Steak was medium in the middle and burned on the outside. The service was mediocre at best and the balloons for Valentine’s Day were tacky. For a $160+ meal I expected much better after having better luck in the past at a different Morton’s location.
Wonderful venue for Valentines Day celebration. Morton’s walked the extra mile and it was so noted.
Service was exceptional. Steak/seafood special was great but too much food!!
We went during Restaurant Week and totally enjoyed our meal. There 4 of us. One had a vegetarian meal, one the pork chops, one the filet, and one the salmon. Desserts were excellent. My creme brule was superb and I am connoisseur of that dessert. Will return.
By the way, our waitress, CeCe was absolutely delightful and will request her table. What a professional!
The picture of us for my birthday was a nice added touch.
We regularly dine at Morton’s and love it, particularly when they had a fantastic offer for restaurant week—$44 for a salad, entree, side and dessert. Tried the double pork chop for the first time and it was excellent and huge. My wife had her usual-chicken Bianco. Preceded by salads which are very good. Sides of broccoli and Lyonnaise potatoes plus an extra side of their puréed cauliflower—to die for. Ended with creme brûlée and key lime pie. And we were fortunate enough to have our favorite waiter, Aaron.
Completely over rated. We ordered bone in rib eye and sea bass. Sea bass is good, but portion is very small. Steak is meh. We also ordered side dishes, smashed cauliflower and potatoes, feels like you can get those from a country family restaurant. Very pricy for average food. Wait staff is friendly and warm as you would expect from a local diner, but not a high end restaurant. Promoter score 0.
Friend's birthday dinner that coincided with Chicago Restaurant week. Double fun! Although we were not given the Restaurant week menu, it was presented when we specifically asked for it. And it was a terrific deal. $44 dinner included choice of quite a few appetizers/salads/soups. We both chose salads, me a Caesar and my friend a Morten's salad. Then 6oz filet mignons for both of us with a choice of sides including mashed potatoes, broccoli, asparagus, green beans and a choice of desserts, friend chose chocolate mousse, I went with the key lime pie. All choices were excellent. Steak melted in your mouth. We will definitely go back!
We celebrate our engagement anniversary at Morton’s every year. It’s always a special experience. The service and food are outstanding!
Amazing dining experience! The dinner was prepared to perfection and the service was outstanding! Our thanks to Tom and his crew for giving us their best.
The Morton’s group never seems to not amaze me. The food was delicious as always ,the service was impeccable along with the beautiful ambience this restaurant group is a must see.....Thanks for all you do keep up the good work!
Overpriced for what we had. $400 dinner for 4 before tip and one person only had app for dinner. $68 for 2 crab claws - The Palm gave twice as much for same price.
Extra drinks were padded into bill
Service was terrible
I frequent steak houses and even Morton’s in various locations. I do not believe this location lives up to the expectation of other steak places (including other Morton’s) in this price range.
Also the lighting was too bright, and the restaurant week menu was handled rather Oddly. The food was pretty good but so are many other steak places who buy high quality meat.
Anyway that’s the way I feel about this place.
I just cannot believe what an awful dinner this was. I was with 3 friends for a birthday during restaurant week on a Friday. Our reservation was at 6 and we were seated promptly. Shrimp cocktail was delist! But...it all went downhill from there! The Nueske bacon was rubber (at $24 you would expect perfection). Two out of the 4 had to take back over done and badly cooked steak filets. They were grey in the center....GREY!!! Two ate while the other two waited for their food that came 20 minutes later. Urgh. The asparagus was served with the hard bitter white ends and you had to saw into it. Disgusting! I do not revimmend😏
Don’t waste your money here...go to Ruth Chris!!
It was a Sunday night when we dined there -the restaurant was very near empty yet in spite of this our steak was not prepared correctly and while our server Eric was very nice about it and accommodating perhaps due to our obvious frustration the restaurant could have given us A glass of wine or dessert or something of that nature just to apologize for the situation. Just saying that small token would’ve gone a long way
This Morton's location offers a huge selection of steaks, chops, chicken and seafood. All prepared with flare. We had the filet mignon, the porterhouse and the veal chop with sides of creamed corn and potatoes lyonnaise. Started with chopped salad and Morton's salad. Finished with NY cheese cake and chocolate mousse. All wonderful! Great for a special occasion.
Zach our waiter was wonderful. Great evening.
WELL..YOU TOPPED CHRISTMAS DINNER TONIGHT..KIND WAITSTAFF..FANTASTIC MEALS..THANKS AGAIN..
It continues to service excellent tasting food. The service is prompt and friendly without rushing you. You must leave room for dessert since the key lime pie is outstanding.
Our New Years Eve meal was excellent--no trace of the slipshod service that happens at some restaurants this time of year. Great drinks, great food, steaks well marbled and tender--we had a lovely time.
Excellent food and service! I would definitely be back soon and highly recommend this restaurant.
Service was excellent but food was not. They were not very busy so it was hard to understand. Many mishaps- 3 of the four entrees (2steak/one lobster) not cooked properly, sides all with bacon and extremely salty to all of us. (augratin, mushroom and spinach and brussel sprouts). Even one of the salads was not done properly and had to be remade. At this price-point I would have expected better. This is the second trip where we had an issue, the last one was the service. Prior to the last two visits, we have enjoyed our meals here very much and without any issues. They did end up comping two of the meals which was nice, but it would have been nicer if the meals were cooked properly.
