Tuly a delightful evening of fine food...the steak scallops delicious...the sides are enough for your table of 4...asparagus with balsamic reduction was truly a hit with everyone. Wine list fantastic....and although there was no one to greet us upon arrival once we were acknowledged we were seated at the bar to enjoy the banter of the bartender and a great Grey Goose martini slightly dirty with blue cheese olives...joined by good friends we had a table, although seeming in the midst of a few festive parties, we were able to enjoy conversation without raising our voices. From the amazing salad, gumbo soup main entree the evening was truly memorable..highly recommend

My husband and I made a reservation at Morton's New Orleans during a recent thunderstorm. In a city of excellent restaurants, it is probably difficult to standout but Morton's does a fine job with good food, excellent staff and reasonable prices. The noise level was a little high but not overwhelming. We both had filet mignon and it was served a the ordered temperature with our separately ordered sides of brussel sprouts and scalloped potates. Both the sides were very tasty. The creme brulee that I had for dessert was as it should be with a crisp browned sugar top and creamy creme. My husband ordered chocolate mousse which he enjoyed very much.
Our waiter Caesar was great and met our expectation of good service in New Orleans. However food was plain and nothing to rave about. Not bad food, but not worth the price. Ruth Chris and Fleming’s prepares a better steak. This is not the Morton’s I remembered from old and food could be better. Again, not bad but not great. Also I found hostess and other wait staff to be rude. At Ruth, everyone greets you and smile even if they are not working your table.
We were well taken care of by Cesar. We were celebrating a birthday, and Morton’s did what they do to make the occasion special — a decorated table and tailored menu, photograph, and dessert. Cesar anticipated our needs and offered seamless service. Highly recommended.
Its not the Mortons of old. More like an average Longhorns at 2x's the price.
Overall was very good. Wife and I shared the chopped salad which needed a touch more dressing. The bread is excellent and came to our table hot. Wife had Filet and I the Pork chop, both were perfectly cooked and very well seasoned, Au Gratin potatoes needed a touch of salt, I don't really care for salt and almost never add at the table but they did need a touch. It was not busy at all and felt that our water glasses could have been filled with more attention and being that it wasn't busy the ice in the water pitchers was mostly melted so didn't receive much with the pour. Noticed a waiter bringing 2 different tables their salads and then going back to offer pepper. This was a Sunday evening after the main weekend rush but I do expect a much higher level of service for a restaurant demanding the prices that this does. There wasn't anything specific other than the cooking and seasoning of the proteins that would warrant a 5 star rating unfortunately.

Staff were great. Henrietta was a fabulous server. She also had great knowledge of the area. Arthur came over and introduced himself and offered his services for anything we need.
Waited 90 minutes for meal after ordering and was served wrong steak. Very apologetic but was disappointed.
We went for our anniversary and it was so nice! We had personalized menus and got our picture taken and given it as a nice keepsake. I would definitely recommend Morton’s again.

We had our anniversary dinner there, we were treated so nice, they had the table decorated with confetti, they took a picture of us and had it in a keepsake folder and a special dessert made for us.
A failed attempt at celebrating a birthday. The table was decorated which was great and upped our expectations. Service was acceptable. Food quality was poor. Prices do not match the quality of the food. My first and last time. $500 should render an outstanding meal for 3 people. Steak poor quality, and overcooked. In fact after the entrees were served it was 10+ minutes before anyone inquired if the steaks were cooked properly/as ordered. Lobster bisque was served lukewarm, watery and little lobster to note. Cream spinach was warm and simply not good. A very disappointing experience for all the hype.
Great ambiance! And food was amazing!!! Parking was easy due to the parking garage. Also validated which was a great plus in the city

We arrived early and were seated fairly quickly. The waiter and staff didn’t seem as polished as I would have imagined for an establishment such as this. Our server was good 4 out of 5 on scale: I ordered the prime ribeye and my son ordered the Cajun ribeye and they gave me his and we didn’t realize it until we were half done. The lobster bisque was great, a little salty, but took forever to eat since they served teaspoons to eat it from. The sides were also brought to us with no serving spoons just teaspoons. It was like they needed to go wash dishes. It was New Year’s Eve but not that crowded. I would give this a 7 for the $400 meal we were served, that did include 2 glasses of wine and 3 glasses of cheap champagne. Steaks were good but not the best I’ve ever had. I most likely won’t go back. I will try something else before this again.
We invited friends from out of town in for NYEve and had dinner at Morton's. The steaks were great as was the lobster from my steak and lobster combination. The crab cake tasted a bit off, tasted fishy. They did remove from our bill.
Good selection of wine and we enjoyed several. Shrimp Alexander App was enjoyed by our guest. The special Wagyu steak was a great flavor and super tender which it needed to be for the $79 price.
All in all great evening, great food, we will be back.
Food was disappointing. Was there 3 years ago and had an awesome meal. This was average at best and for these prices I expect perfection. I’d still give it another chance. Maybe they were having a bad night . Cut of meat and was not up to par. Oysters pre shucked at 19$ per half dozen. Unacceptable.
We went on New Years which is traditionally the worst night to eat out with Pre set menus and high prices. Not Morton’s. They had the full menu, the meal was spectacular as always. From the warm onion bread to the shrimp cocktail to Caesar’s salad everything was perfect. Then the Filets came out and you scratch your head asking yourself how do they serve an absolutely perfect steak every single time. The cut of meat was spectacular. Just perfectly marbles for flavor and cooked exactly the way we ordered them. Our server was spectacular. I had taken my daughter, a junior at Clemson, to NO for the Sugar Bowl and the game didn’t go the way we wanted but our meal the night before was perfect. Thank you for giving a mom and daughter a wonderful evening during our trip of a lifetime.
The food was scrumptious, the service was horrible. I started the time from the time we were seated. It took 20 minutes to get drinks to the table. After 1 hour there was not one drop of food on the table. We were there over two hours before we completed our meal. We even had a reservation and they were not busy.
Steak was good, salad had some brown lettuce. The souffles for dessert were like rubber. Had been warmed in a microwave. They make a big deal about being cooked to order and that did not happen. It was Christmas night so maybe they were slammed. I have had better meals at other Landry's restaurant. When the substitute dessert came, it was straight from the refrigerator and should have been served room temperature.

We missed out on reservations last year for Christmas; however, we were able to secure our reservations this year. This place is a must if you like steaks. They are cooked to the perfect temperature and always tender. The staff is attentive and restaurant setting is perfect for any occasion. Thank you again for a great dinner.

Morton's is elegant, in a masculine kind of way...dark, heavy, glittery, scrumptious...Service is impeccable....Food is wonderful...I especially adore the filet with bearnaise sauce...I take guests here for special occasions because Morton's is what old-style famous restaurants used to be: classy...Not stuffy...Just...classy...on every level...

Our business Christmas Dinner was ruin due poor service and cold food.
Fine dining at its very best! After a long day at a football game and walking the streets of NOLA my group was ready to relax. Service and food were awesome! My husband was quite impressed with his lamb! We all enjoyed the hot onion bread and fine wine. We will be back soon.
Steak was over cooked and food was just ok. For that price I expected better. The truffle fries were good though.
