Morton's The Steakhouse - Nashville

Lobster in the bisque was tough as was the lobster on the special filet. My wife’s filet was over cooked (ordered medium and came well). It was removed from bill but still disappointing. Took a long time to get food. We were pressed to get to theatre. Also the hostess was VERY abrupt, not at all friendly. Not expected in a restaurant in this price league.
Our waiter was amazing! He was so nice and explained everything to us! This was our first experience at Morton’s, and we will definitely want to go back for our next special occasion!
My husband and I love Morton’s and have been coming for years. The food and service is always excellent.
Our steaks were mediocre at best. Not at all what I expected. Tough and over cooked. Sides were nothing special.
Billy was an amazing server. He was attentive and knowledgable of the menu.
Steak was over cooked And had to send it back. Place was a lil too pricey for what it was. I found it to be no better than a J Alexander or Stoney River but priced twice as much.
It’s really good and if you’re in the area then check it out, real pricey but execellent service
My wife and I have been celebrating Valentine’s Day there for many many years. The food and service is always great.
Excellent experience. The food and the service was wonderful
The service (Kelsey) and the valet attendants were great.
The food and drinks were good.
The cost is a bit steep.
And maybe I'm just getting old, but it's real dark in there.
Our server Alyssa was just great. She made sure everything was like it should be and helped with our wine purchase. We will definatley be back.
We always enjoy Morton’s and they did not disappoint for our 21st Anniversary dinner. Just the 2 of us and we loved the food and the entire experience!! And thank you for Anniversary photo!
Our 5th anniversary we decided to go to Mortan’s. It was a wonderful experience. Worth the money.
Great food and great service
Best steak we have had in a long time!!
Beyond fantastic steak. Truly phenomenal dining experience.
Very nice evening - food was very good as was the service - will definitely be back
A little pricey but our server made it worth the cost !
Here's the thing: Morton's is a classic and the food is really great. I would put their tuna tower up against almost anyone's version of a tuna tartare or tuna stack. But the Nashville location desperately needs a makeover! The wallpaper, carpet, everything just looks very dated and not in a good retro way, but in the way that says it was decorated to suit Gordon Gecko.
Deborah was awesome and the food was amazing
They are just phoning it in. Mid market presentation for high end restaurant. Oysters were piled up like fast food and condiments included cello wrapped bags of oyster crackers. Meat quality was average at best. Vegetables lacked flavor, but were cooked correctly.
My favorite restaurant ever, will not let you down.
I loved this place. The service was absolutely delightful and the food was good
Fantastic way to celebrate our Anniversary!
We had been looking forward to dining at Morton's. First I'd like to say that the steaks we had were very good. Not highly seasoned and cooked correctly. We had the onion soup that was good also. Decent wine list. Our problem with this meal was the poor service and presentation that is expected at this level of dining. I am not saying i would never go to another Morton's but I would have to think carefully. We easily spent over 200 for dinner and the service was remarkably bad. Menus were chunked on the table and not handed to us. I had spoken to our server about how we needed to complete our meal by 7:30 or so and was there anything we shouldn't order that takes extra time. Needless to say, we were barely were out before the deadline and multiple tables near us who had equal amounts of food and seated after us, were leaving before we even had our steaks. I have no idea if we annoyed the server by being upfront but I wasn't rude, I just didn't want to order a dish that takes extra time to prepare. We arrived at 5:30 so there was ample time to complete our dinner without even mentioning our time restraints. I wish i hadn't. We were never offered coffee or dessert and our server kept disappearing for long periods of time. We are accustomed to Ruth's Chris and Bohanan's level of service so maybe we misunderstood what type of dining experience Morton's is supposed to be. I know i would never return to the Nashville Morton's. The manager kept walking past and looking at our table but never checked on us after the wine had been served. Sad experience overall. Thankfully there are many more great choices in Nashville for steak and other excellent types of meals.
Excellent food and service !!
It was a quiet January 2 at Morton's in Nashville. We arrived early and enjoyed some drinks in the lounge first.
Dinner in the dining room was lovely. The only issue I can recall is that my friends caesar salad did not have as much dressing as she wanted and took some time to get a side of dressing.
Our steaks were delicious and perfectly cooked. The baked potatoes were monstrous and delicious. The complimentary group photo was a nice touch. Definitely would recommend this restaurant, particularly for a special occasion.
Always good to visit Morton’s. We’d been there for New Year’s celebration before and the management had provided noise makers and fun stuff to ring in the new year at midnight... alas, not this year.
Excellent repas pour le 31 décembre au soir. Le restaurant était même décoré avec goût. Belle ambiance. Service impécable !
Great evening pre-NYE meal. Escargot was great. Filet and Ribeye were amazing . Recommend the AuGratin Potatoes.
Highly recommend the Chocolate Soufflé. Our
Server Whitney was amazing
Every course was amazing!! Will definitely be back
Amazing food and wonderful service. Couldn’t think of a better place to start New Year’s Eve.
From the time we arrived to the time we left, we were treated like royalty. The southern hospitality was noted in every aspect. Warm friendly staff, proper service, exquisite table settings, classy ambiance, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented steak and lobster. A great way to enjoy a night in downtown Nashville.
friendly staff and amazing food ...had lobster tail cocktail and 12 oz filet...outstanding
Food was so delicious! Melt in your mouth steaks. Waiter was so very friendly and helpful with regards to Night life in the area.
It was a wonderful evening! Ben, our server was poised and professional! The atmosphere was elegant but relaxing. Just Perfect!
We chose Morton’s for Christmas dinner this year. Our service was great from the minute we sat down to the minute we left, however, both of our steaks came out lukewarm. This was very disappointing as they are not cheap. We didn’t want to complain because I spent many years in the food and beverage industry and it could have just been a fluke. The rest of our food (au gratin potatoes and balsamic asparagus) was very good.
I feel it was a bit too dark, I has to struggle to read the menu and I had an 8 year old granddaughter with me, so it could have been brighter in the dining area.
