View Private Dining DetailsThe place just looked old and run down. My steak was the worst steak I’d ever had. I had a filet medium and it was cooked correctly but it was complete mush. The texture was absolutely disgusting. Would not come here again. I have to many Morton’s across the country and this was not the Morton’s I know and love.
Amazing food, great atmosphere, welcoming, and Greg was a great waiter. Of course, the price was to be expected but I'll still rate based on overall worth. It really was worth it, just a tad steep, but it's fine. Thank you for an excellent dinner!
Took 10 minutes for water and steak was BARELY medium rare
Celebrated my 50th Birthday here. Steak was wonderful, and the sides were great. Shrimp cocktail appetizer was done right and beautifully.
Best Steak I have order out ever. The server was very good and on top of everything. We never had to wait for anything.
Great service! The server was very friendly and suggested a great bottle of wine. Not my first time dining at Morton’s and certainly won’t be my last.
great food, wine list. Our waiter, Mike, was friendly and knowledgeable.
We had a great steak there after a long meeting. Good service as well.
Steak tough; creamed spinach could taste the flour in roux; service V E R Y S L O W!! Meat was not prime! Could have had a better meal at Longhorn! No kidding. Albeit ambience and service were good, the food however was marginal. Not at all what was expected for Morton’s! Very disappointing. I told our guests to expect above Ruth Chris, what a let down. ☹️
Steak way over cooked, orders mixed up, slow. First bad experience at Morton’s, ever.
Great dining. Beautiful restaurant. Sat us immediately. Waiter came to our table to greet us within seconds.
Easy walk to TPAC for 8pm show. Parked in city center parking garage (&10) at 5:30, dinner at 5:45, left restaurant at 7:20, plenty of time to walk to TPAC, use restroom, and look around, get a drink before the show.
Chopped salad was excellent but because lighting was so dim couldnt see large blue cheese chunks that was too much. Scallops were very tasty. Steak was good but not the best ever. I recommend getting a add on like truffle sauce for beef. We did not get dessert but it looked amazing!!!! My daughter and I split a meal and they split it for us in the kitchen and cut our filet too. We will go back if seeing show at TPAC for convenience.
My husband and I stopped in at the Morton's bar before seeing a show at TPAC. We hit it during Happy Hour which meant Bar Bites for $7, $8 and $9! We had the mini wedges and filet trio and both dishes were nothing short of fantastic. An added bonus was that TPAC is within walking distance, so we only had to park the car once all night. In downtown Nashville, that's a win! We'll be back for sure!
Too dark, everything else just great !!
We had a wonderful time. Food, service and ambiance were outstanding. We were celebrating our 39th Anniversary and I could not have picked a better place.
Prompt and friendly service. Very good food. Very convenient to TPAC.
The entire experience was great! We were in town for a concert and decided to stay where we could walk to dinner as well as the concert. The food and service could not have been better. My wife and I both had filets and both were cooked to perfection. The waitress was extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer every question we had. We will go back!
Initial impression was that it was first class but steak was overdone and service was poor.
Great place to celebrate birthday.
Food was mediocre for the pricing. Service was fine but valet was unavailable at the time when parking was needed and parking down the street cost $20.
Service was too slow and the manager didn't want to talk about it.
Outstanding service, exceptional steak, nice setting. We will be back for sure.
Steak was burned on the outside, raw in the middle. It was supposed to be medium. Horseradish potatoes had way too much horseradish. Brush sprouts were undercooked. They were hard. Waitress was very attentive. We did not complain. We had the same meal previously and it was superb.. Hot chocolate cake was amazing, as usual.
Haven’t been to Morton’s in a while. First time at this location. Food and service was great as usual.
My husband’s cousins were in from Ontario for a hockey tournament. We wanted to treat them to a nice dinner. We arrived about 15 minutes early. We wanted to have a drink at the bar, but there was nowhere to sit. It was completely packed. We stood in the entryway the entire time, as there is no seating available. We were seated in the rear of the restaurant in a booth, as I requested in my reservation. We all had filets, cooked to perfection. The desserts were wonderful. Our guests said the steaks were the best they’d ever had - mission accomplished! With a tip, it was $620 for the four of us to eat. We had wine and beer also. Great experience. I did ask for a whisky flight - the server was unaware of what I was asking for. It was in the menu. He had to bring the menu back to the table for me to show him what I was asking for. Other than that, service was great. We did wait a while for our food as well. We will visit again!
Steak Diane and creamed corn were outstanding . Our waiter was knowledgeable and helpful.
30th Anniversary dinner prior to Eagles Concert at Bridgestone Arena. The most tender filet I’ve ever put in my mouth, the best scallops and the broccoli was out of this world. My wife has a crab cake that just rocked! The shrimp were just so so, but the cocktail sauce......OMG! I’m reminded of the saying of a waiter in New Orleans during our honeymoon trip 30 years ago. “A meal is meant to be experienced, not just consumed”. This WAS an experience of a lifetime for us. Everything was perfect from valet parking, the meal and the complimentary dessert which was out of this world chocolate cake with ice cream. We will be back and bring our friends! Our first ever $200 meal, but for the memory, it was priceless! Thank you to our waiter Greg for a wonderful evening we will always remember.
We eat @mortons often. We always enjoy the evening when we dine there. On this particular occasion we had overlooked fish, they re cooked and offered dessert. Love Morton’s Nashville.
Fantastic.
Server ROB is the best.
Steak was cooked to absolute perfection. The fries were very good but the Brussel sprouts left something to be desired.
Super spot for our birthday celebration. We had delicious sides with our perfectly prepared steaks. Service was very warm and attentive.
Ben and John who run the bar make the first impressions great! Awsome cocktails then through to the dining area where the food is exceptional.
The food was extremely underwhelming. The price is outrageous for the quality of the food. Do not get the crab cakes, you will be disappointed. 4 of us went, and all selected different sides, entrées, wines, and appetizers; therefore, we hit a lot of what was on the menu. Skip this place and go somewhere else. I will never go back.
However, the service was phenomenal and probably the only saving grace of our dinner.
I set up the dinner for myself and 4 other executives while in Nashville and was very disappointed. All 5 steaks were very over cooked, four were sent back, and the sides didn’t all come out together either. Then, one of the 4 new steaks had to be sent back a second time because it was nearly raw. This will be my last visit.
Great service and food!
Food was excellent as always. Sometimes difficult to carry on conversation due to noise level
Great evening! In great part due to our server Garrett, who took excellent care of us. His extra attentions were so very much appreciated.
Disappointed.
My wife and I had filet mignon and I also had shrimp and scallops. The meats were top notch. Dessert (carrot cake) was also very good but soup and side dishes were expensive and below average.
Overpriced for the quality and what you get. Ridiculous bar prices and the drinks were not high quality. An old fashioned shouldn't be $22 and have granules of sugar at the bottom of the drink. The food was overcooked--and it is their specialty which is not okay. Too many other great choices to go back.
The restaurant was beautiful. Our waitress very polite and the only negative thing it’s it took her a while to circle back on us. The restaurant was pretty empty on our side so we couldn’t understand the long wait time. Other then that we enjoyed our night
