Morton's The Steakhouse - Nashville Ratings and Reviews
The server was clearly new and inexperienced, which I may otherwise be able to forgive; however, the food was subpar, with a large gristle in the $45 filet and cold brussels. For a $250 dinner for two, I expect much more than what Morton had to offer. If only Kayne had an available reservation...
My food was prepared as ordered. The bathroom lock didn't work and there was no soap in the dispenser. My water glass remained empty while my husbands 1/2 full glass was refilled. The potato topping serving contraption broke and spilled on our table. It was not a pleasant experience. Especially for the price. We will not return.
The steak was great but the service was terrible both at the front desk and at the table We made reservations on Thursday for dinner on Sunday so we gave them plenty of notice. The server was just going through the motions and seemed to be annoyed that she was having to work.
There are many great choices for good food in Nashville and we will not be going back to Morton’s
Place was near dead at 8:30pm which was a bit odd.
I ordered a NY Strip that was overcooked from order by a long way, and had an odd flavor. By far not fitting to Morton's global consistency.
I ate at the bar, was in a hurry and wasn't able to ask for another one, where I'm sure they would have done so. Just surprised by the steak flavor, and in addition the excess au jiu was a turn off.
Bartender serving me was a bit superficial, and in a hurry to get outside on smoke break.
Maybe a good place on a bad day, but certainly my worst Morton's experience, and I've had many good ones thankfully.
Not my normal Morton’s experience - had a big date planned they were busy and full we were seated on time - bartender was stressed - and not friendly waitress nice and based on how busy they were service was okay - scoliosis and bacon app delicious - escargot delicious - porterhouse overcooked and cold - we ordered medium - arrived medium well - not impressed
It was our first time there. We were celebrating my wife’s birthday. We loved it! The staff was friendly and went above and beyond our expectations! The steaks were prepared just as we ordered and everything was delicious! Would definitely recommend it for any romantic occasion!
Overall a very fine evening to top off a wonderful date day. A bit disappointed with the hostess treatment of a guest with no reservation, a missed opportunity, it seems she was focused on reservations only when it was pretty clear there were plenty of tables. But that was Mortons loss not ours. We enjoyed the evening our service and food were what was expected.
We celebrated a 50th birthday here with friends before we headed out to the Ryman Auditorium and it was perfect. The food was great, the service was great and my husband got the largest piece of carrot cake I've ever seen!! The location was great as well. Walking distance from where we were staying and from the show. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Wonderful evening at Mortons. The martinis were excellent and all the food was perfect. Best steak I've had in a long time. Very thoughtful staff. Knew we were headed to TPAC and made sure we had plenty of time and not be rushed. Valet helped immensely. Will go back soon.
My girlfriend and I walked in to this wonderful place that was so welcoming. They held our jackets for us while we ate dinner. Our server Taylor continued this trend and welcomed us and then gave a synopsis of the menu and drinks of course. He never made us feel rushed and answered any questions that we had. It was one of the best experiences ever that we had and made the date even more special. Thank you for having a wonderful philosophy and passion you have for people as well as creating memories for them.
Morton's is always a good time. No doubt, you won't get out of there without spending a hundred or more, but if and when you do, the drinks, the food, and the service is fantastic. We went for a birthday, my boyfriend wanted a legit steak, and as usual, Morton's did not disappoint. They printed up menus that said "Happy Birthday" on top - a nice touch, and our server was excellent in recommendations and timeliness. We had a great time, and will be back once we've rested our guts.
Bar was very loud and 3men siting at the bar were drunk and they continued to serve them. This is very disappoint gas Luther we very loud and you could not here your partner talk, this type of restaurant and lounge should ensure they stop alcohol service before there patrons are drunk and ruin the n8ght for everyone else. The manager and bar tenders inorged there volume and acted as it they were scared to cut them off.
Our waiter, Joseph, went above-and-beyond to make our anniversary dinner special, and even "bought" our dessert. He was just attentive enough to let us know he was there, but also gave us some time alone to enjoy our meal. The entire wait staff--including the hostess--was super-nice, and the food was good. I especially enjoyed my steak, and the soufflé that ended the meal. We had a great time, and hope to go back for another special occasion!
We arrived at 520 and I asked for a glass of Rose... I was shocked when I got the bill at it cost 26.00 for one glass.. then we waited 40 minutes for them to bring bread. Once we got our oysters they were the size of a pencil eraser... tasty but really small.
Overall it was ok but for the money (900.00 for 6 people) you would think the service would be better... really long wait times between courses.
The food was good but by the time we were served we were starving and it was less than enjoyable.
We spent almost 3 hours eating dinner!
A warm, inviting restaurant with exceptional service and good food. Not many places are open on Christmas Day, but the people at Morton’s made us feel right at home. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the potatoes al gratin were cheesy and delicious. A wonderful night cap to Christmas.
