Food was excellent. Service was good. Always a little pricey but nice for a special occasion.
Steaks were cooked perfectly and atmosphere was very comfortable
Excellent place to eat! The steaks are delicious!
Our waitress was very nice and friendly she explained all the different steak options and different side dishes.
Still enjoy the Morton’s experience but the service was a little off. Staff was delightful but felt there were short staffed. Waited quite a while to be greeted. Left with plates a little longer than usual.
Morton's is a great steakhouse, but it is not same after Landry's bought the group some 12 years ago. We were celebrating an anniversary and we were debating about going back to the State Street location or trying this Naperville restaurant. It seems you need to go downtown to enjoy the traditional Morton's experience, service and quality.
Host very very friendly. Server not particularly friendly. For the $230.00 check, she didn't make us feel welcome. Food was delicious but way too expensive. Steaks were cooked perfectly but not worth the $52.00 price tag. Mashed potatoes were very good, but not worth $13.00. Asparagus was not very good. Big thick stalks and overcooked. Baked onion soup was delicious. Maybe worth the $13.00. We feel there are plenty of other restaurants that you can go to and enjoy steak dinner and not pay the hefty price. I think you pay high prices at Morton's because of the name.
Great venue for our anniversary!!!
We had a wonderful experience at Morton's. Everything went well and was executed perfectly. We were celebrating an anniversary and the extra steps they took made the evening even better.
Morton’s went above and beyond as always. When calling to confirm my reservation, they asked if we were celebrating anything aside from Easter. When they found out it was my birthday they went above and beyond to make it a great evening out with family. Every time we go they also make sure that my Grandma’s needs are met (she is elderly and has trouble with her eye sight and hearing). Dining with them is always a pleasure.
Morton's is by far the best local area steakhouse which includes top-notch employees who always make you feel welcome from the concierge, bartender and servers to the best chefs who create gourmet-tasting meals; all in a relaxed, comfortable ambiance.
Dined on my birthday. Had Open Table $100 rewards certificate and planed to use my $50 Landry's rewards as well. Because of this, my brother in law paid the balance. Both the waitress & manager came to the table & stated I couldn't use the rewards because my brother in law was paying the balance on his credit card. I asked when my birthday reward expired and the manager (Rich) said I had until the 15th of the next month to use it. When I got home and checked my account I found they zeroed out my rewards. I called the restaurant and the manager changed his story and was now saying they did apply my rewards even though no credit showed on the bill. He claimed some food items were reduced to accommodate the rewards. I told him that is not what they said when left the restaurant and he was very demeaning to me. It ended up being an ugly phone call and I swore back at him. It was some of the worse customer service I have seen, particularly from a manager. We dropped $300 at this place and this is how they treat their customers? My wife is going thru chemo and pushed herself to go out for a special birthday dinner for me. This place doesn't care about the customers, just stiffing you. It could have been an easy customer service fix, just put the $50 rewards back on the card. Instead, this manger appeared to want to be confrontational. He was right and I was wrong. That was the message I got. I tried calling there again tonight and he was the same, claiming he could have fixed it last night but because I swore at him he would now do nothing. Again, extremely bad customer service! He has a god complex. He also claimed he would have his boss call me yesterday so I asked for his boss today and he claims the boss was sick. This would never had happened at a Capital Grill where I have visited for other special occasions. My advice, if you have a special occasion plan, go to Capital Grille, not Morton's. They have just as good if not better steaks and the service is superb.
Morton's has always been my most favorite restaurant for at least 20 years! If we are out of town, we look specifically for a Morton's on the "preferred" restaurant listings. It is certainly a pleasurable experience at any time...and the steaks are TOP SHELF!!
Morton's was fantastic! Our server Sharon was terrific!! Very attentive to our needs.
Business dinner, so I do expect my guest to thoroughly enjoy their meal. My guest ordered a $63.00 porterhouse steak, and she couldn't even cut through it with a steak knife. She eats out at a lot of restaurants in San Jose, CA, so she knows what she is talking about. She said the steak was tough, but the few bites she ate, she said had good flavor. The waitress asked how everything was a few minutes after our steaks were served, my guest informed her she couldn't cut through the steak and was showing her, but the waitress said cut into the center and some areas there would be better. My guest did not want to complain any further, but my thought was, for 63 dollars, that steak should be awesome (not). She probably only ate 5 bites of that tough steak. What a shame, makes it seem like a good Chicago steakhouse, isn't so good. I also didn't like that if one person out of 3 wants a baked potato, it is $13.00 for one, even though the waitress informed me it was a 'big' potato?? I don't care about the size for one, I just wanted a baked potato but was feeling terrible to purchase one for 13 dollars. Overall experience was just okay in my humble opinion.
Great Time and Food was delicious
Went for the Friday Lobster special during Lent. It was even better than what we expect from Morton's. Service as usual was excellent.
My husband and I had a wonderful time at Morton's last Tuesday night. I had a shrimp dinner which was excellent! My husband had the scampi which he loved. Our server was so friendly and attentive. They have a great wine list also. We've been to Morton's many times; the filet is outstanding! Yes, we'll be back!
Food was disappointing given the price. Steak on my plate bore little resemblance to presentation at time of ordering and was somewhat overlooked vs. what I ordered.
Wonderful dining experience. The staff was warm and welcoming and my brother and his wife’s anniversary celebration very special.
Husbands birthday celebration. Was very nice. Waitress did a nice job with dealing with all of our questions. Go early.
They did a very nice job in celebrating my wife’s birthday. Excellent service—professional & attentive customer service. Dining is a little pricey—recommend the Happy Hour for exceptional value.
We always enjoy our dining experience here. Our server was really great, very attentive without being obtrusive, and really friendly. The food was absolutely delicious.
Unfortunately the service and ambiance does not match the brand promise or the price. They burned a very expensive steak, which is such a crime. The service was amateurish. There were people there in baseball hats, jeans and camo jackets. We we felt out of place with a dress and jacket on. This was supposed to be a romantic dinner but it was nothing close to that.
Steven was a very good server and gave great suggestions
Excellent attention to details
Birthday dinner for a dear friend. George and his staff were most attentive providing an outstanding evening for our guests! By the way the Sea Bass was out of this world! Thanks George and staff!
Outstanding bone in Filet. Cooked perfectly. Our server, Rachel, was excellent! A great meal for a special occasion!!
Morton's never disappoints. The steak was delicious and service was impeccable!
Went here for our anniversary dinner and it was amazing . They gave us a large romantic booth for the two of us- took our picture and framed it and gave us a wonderful dessert. The food was incredible - steaks were perfect and our waitress so gracious .
Thank you for a wonderful anniversary dinner
Went to celebrate our Birthdays. From the moment we entered, everything was perfectly done. Our menus had our names on them and Roseann took our picture to have as a memento. Our server was excellent and the food delicious. I love the crab-meat cocktail and the Shrimp Alexander! My favorite is always the Grand Marnier Souflee. The service is unobtrusive and management checks in to make sure everything is just right. This is what hospitality should be like! It is definitely worth splurging on this.
Always a good meal with great service. The bill does reflect that 'high end' experience so be prepared. Best steaks around and can never go wrong with the souffle.
Everyone @ Morton’s made us feel special celebrating our anniversary, the service was friendly and top-notch, and the food was outstanding!
Have dined at several other Morton's Steak houses that set a standard well beyond what this one could achieve. Service was slow, food was just okay. Once it was time for desserts and the check all the sudden the server became super nice, friendly, and eager to get us out the door for her tip.
Morton's has always been a favorite for my wife and I, but the Naperville location was exceptional during our last visit. From the minute we walked into the door, up to the time we left, staff and service was fantastic. The food is always excellent, but the staff at Morton's made our Valentine's dinner much more enjoyable.
It was a great experience for Valentine’s Day, the food is always on point. Service this time was not as good as before but could have been cause they were busy.
Bread pudding was great with vanilla ice cream.
Thick bacon not worth the price, last year when they had it the taste and flavor was much better then now, but for $24 not worth it at all.
Beautiful restaurant with a strong reputation. My impression was an overpriced menu with above average service. Our major complaint - the Restaurant Week “special “ is a secret, unless you know about it prior to dining, or specifically ask your server. Our bill was $148 for a shared salad, one drink, two entrees, with no sides or desserts. The special would have been less expensive for more food. I am highly disappointed that we were not informed, and feel like we were fleeced. Will we ever return? No.
Dining at Morton’s is always a special occasion.
Customer service was great and food was delicious.
