Morton's The Steakhouse - Naperville Ratings and Reviews
Morton's has always been a favorite for my wife and I, but the Naperville location was exceptional during our last visit. From the minute we walked into the door, up to the time we left, staff and service was fantastic. The food is always excellent, but the staff at Morton's made our Valentine's dinner much more enjoyable.
It was a great experience for Valentine’s Day, the food is always on point. Service this time was not as good as before but could have been cause they were busy.
Bread pudding was great with vanilla ice cream.
Thick bacon not worth the price, last year when they had it the taste and flavor was much better then now, but for $24 not worth it at all.
Beautiful restaurant with a strong reputation. My impression was an overpriced menu with above average service. Our major complaint - the Restaurant Week “special “ is a secret, unless you know about it prior to dining, or specifically ask your server. Our bill was $148 for a shared salad, one drink, two entrees, with no sides or desserts. The special would have been less expensive for more food. I am highly disappointed that we were not informed, and feel like we were fleeced. Will we ever return? No.
Everyone was very courteous. They didnt hover over us, but became aware if we needed anything. Food, as always, was excellent. We were not rushed and they made my guests feel very special. It was my parents 69th anniversary and they enjoyed everything. Thanks for a great night.
Amazing! Both lobster and onion soup were great. Fillet minion was melting in our mouths, excellent cut and pre-paired. Desert options were delicious too. They have a huge wine selection which is perfect for wine lovers like us. All staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately I don't remember our waiter name, but he was amazing from the beginning to the end. Thanks for amazing time!
We were celebrating my son's 17th birthday and the staff at Morton's made it very memorable. From printing special menu's to taking a family picture made the night special. Food was exceptional as well and unmatched service. Our server Laura was tremendous and very helpful suggesting appetizers and deserts. Great overall night!!
Excellent lobster bisque and 5 onion soup. My husband had the 16 oz. strip steak with the peppercorn sauce and I ordered an 8 oz. filet with Diane sauce and both steaks were ordered to medium rare and were served that way. The grilled asparagus was very tasty. Service was attentive and we were not rushed at all. Also, the white chocolate pudding with a scoop
of ice cream ended a perfect.
I must say I had high expectations. I just left feeling like dinner was ok. For the price point everything should be very high quality. We sat for much longer then we should have with dirty plates and an empty drink. To me service makes or breaks the meal. Our server was good and very happy to help us but it just felt like any other place to me,nothing special. My salad was extremely fresh tasting and our steaks were cooked perfectly. I probably won't return
Morton's has always served great food but the price tag has kept my wife and I from going there for anything but the most special of occasions. We saw a promotion for Steak & Lobster which convinced us to go back for the first time in a couple of years. It was as good as I remembered and expected. The steaks were perfectly done, the lobster and wine were excellent, the atmosphere quiet, comfortable and inviting, and the service from Ryan was great. All in all, a great experience.
Even with the promotion, we still spent more $ than we ever do for dinner but since everything was perfect, it was worth it. For those with endless money, I'd be eating here often. But unless it's a business dinner with someone else picking up the tab, I will probably be waiting for the next promotion before going back.
My wife and I dined for dinner. We were promptly seated and the wait staff was attentive and pleasant. I had a filet and she had salmon. We shared creamed corn and mashed potatoes. I have had a better steak as this cut was not as lean as I would expect, but it was cooked perfectly. My wife enjoyed the salmon. Overall a very enjoyable, nicely paced, comfortable evening. We would recommend Morton's and will return.
We celebrated my birthday and we enjoyed nice wishes, photo and the menu with my name at the top. The oyster appetizer was outstanding. So were the steak (yum!) and vegetables. Steer clear of mac & cheese; it is a warmed-over, dried out mess. As for the souffle, it was an over-worked mess that had no substance underneath the top. The server had a hard time trying to cut it into three portions because all it had was the skin on top and a bit on the sides. Entire middle was empty. Order another dessert and you will be happy.
Fantastic place. It was our first time there, and certainly will not be the last. Food was the best, parking was the worst!
They went out of their way to make my sons birthday a little extra special. They took a family photo, had a personalized menu, and a free desert!
This was our second visit and must say much better than our first. The server was excellent very attentive to our needs and was always nearby but not pestering. Food was good, I had steak with lobster (lobster was V/G) my wife had steak was OK. Server suggested splitting the dessert which we were glad the carrot cake would be too much for one person.
Our first time there and it was simply amazing! Our taste buds exploded with all the delicious flavors. The lobster mac and cheese had 7-8 large pieces of lobster in it. The Cajun ribeye —superb. Our waiter was exceptional and offered expert guidance on drinks and the menu. We’ll definitely be back for our anniversary!
