Freezing cold inside the restaurant. Other patrons had to retrieve their sweaters or jackets from their cars, so it wasn’t just us or our area of the restaurant.

They did their best to solve a couple of issues we had, but one was difficult to overcome without impacting our dinner. One of the filets we ordered “pink on the inside” and it was delivered significantly overcooked. Our guests were half way finished with their dinner by the time we flagged down a waitress (she should have asked how everything was well before that), and then we waited while the kitchen cooked a new steak. It was very uncomfortable having all but one person eating, and then waiting for them to eat after the new steak was delivered. The restaurant was extremely noisy.

As always, everything was wonderful, the food, service and ambience! Rich makes everyone feel as if they’re part of the family The colossal crab cocktail is not to be missed, I always start with it. The shrimp Alexander is another favorite My husband loves the wagyu filet We’ve been coming here a very long time and have never been disappointed!

Service was terrific (becoming a lost art form these days). Food was great, as well: oysters on the half shell, lobster bisque, filet and crab cake, bone in ribeye and bacon-wrapped scallops, au gratin potatoes, baked corn soufflé, crème brûlée and key lime pie.

My husband had the lamb chops which were burnt on the outside but medium rare on the inside. The sauce was minimally good, and they were really small for the amount of money they charged. He also had a shrimp cocktail which was excellent and I had the crabcakes which I did really like. But the service was substandard. He try to rush us through everything I think to seat another table and at the end didn’t even ask us if we wanted dessert. We were disappointed. And he wouldn’t even look up where our food bill would apply to their card.
