I had informed the restaurant that I would be proposing to my girlfriend and the attention to detail was astounding. I don't believe I have seen such a genuine effort from everyone to help surprise my now fiancé. Undoubtedly we will be back and make this our go to place for steak in NY. Thank you again to everyone.

Great steak and sides as always. Stay away from the Pimm's Cup cocktail -- the one complaint I had! (They nicely took it off the tab.)

Our server was top-notch and enhanced our dining experience - he was super. In fact, all the wait staff was very attentive. The food was OK. The coat check was a disaster. We were there on a rainy/snowy night and we checked two coats and an umbrella. When we went to retrieve our coats after dinner, they came out with two coats, one sopping wet INSIDE and no umbrella. When asked about whether one coat had been hung over the other, they said no. (Since they had given us only one coat check #, it was obvious to us that only one hanger was used, and she was lying.) The coat check supervisor felt the wet coat and offered to put it in front of a heater to dry it. When it was dried, she brought it out, but still did not have the umbrella. When asked about it she went and retrieved two umbrellas and asked which one was ours. For such a long-established restaurant, this was a disappointing experience on what would have been a nicer dining evening.

This particular restaurant is highly recommended for its staff and their services. Only thing I'd like to ask, Morton's in general, is that to have at least one or two meal option for vegetarians. I know it sounds absurd for a steakhouse to serve a vegetarian dish(es) but if you think about it, it makes a perfect sense. Having at least one - a salad big enough to be a meal - vegetarian dish will bring more customers to the restaurant. Usually, people dine at a steakhouse as a couple or a group. If a vegetarian (or vegan) is in the group, they may end up selecting another restaurant for their group dinner. Not suggesting a menu full of vegetarian dishes but at least one or two will be a great idea for customers & restaurant. It already serves a few salads anyway so it won't take too much effort on their part to incorporate this into their menu.

It's a great Midtown place to celebrate a special occasion and also, to get together with friends and colleagues for drinks after work at the bar. Food is always fabulous and the service is good.

I went here for restaurant week with a few friends. I walked in and was greeted right away. Everyone was bery friendly and asked us if we’re being helped as we waited for the last person from our party. Got seated a few minutes after our reservation time and we’re presentated with the delicious bread. We all ordered the filet mignon that was on the restaurant week menu. I ordered a side of mashed potatoes, the tomato bisque as an appetizer, and chocolate mousse cake for dessert. The bisque was slightly salty, while the mashed potatoes and chocolate cake were great. The problem for all of us were with the steaks themselves. At least a third of our filet mignons were burnt and hard to chew on. It had a crunchy texture to it. The experience left us with a subpar experience for the night.

My friend and I just recently had lunch and decide to choose from the restaurant Week menu. The food was absolutely delicious; the portions were more than generous.
The 16 oz cajun rub pork chops were absolutely scrumptious.
Key lime pie for dessert. And again delicious. I felt like i was back in Key West.
We also had Morton signature chocolate cake , an additional $6 charge, but believe me - it is worth every penny.
We will be back..

We came in for restaurant week and they still give us a customized menu wishing us a happy anniversary. They also took a photo of us and made us a beautiful card with our photo on it for our anniversary. The service was great and the food was delicious!!! The presentation of the shrimp capellini was spectacular.

We enjoyed dining at Morton's for Restaurant week. The food, service, and ambience was great. We would definitely eat here again. We all had the filet mignon option which was nice and tender. We would definitely recommend getting the filet mignon.

I usually dine at the Wall st location due to job convenience.
The wait staff Shack, a female assistance (I cant recall her name) and Luis Assist Manager were terrific. They were attentive, entertaining very personable!
Food and drinks as always GREAT!
Friday Feb 9 I will take my management team to the Wall st location.

Bacground music was much louder than necessary.

The server brought an incorrectly cooked steak to the table.

Prices of the entrees are steep--knew this in advance but really appreciated the pricing upon seeing the menu. This is likely consistent with most steak houses in NYC. Still experienced a bit of shock at the prices.
