This was my mother’s first time dining here. I always bring her food home. This is my favorite location! I’ve been coming here the last 4 years. The managers are great, the waiters are friendly!
My go to restaurant for steak and celebrations. Food, service, ambiance, welcome all couldn't be better
Excellent dining experience as always! From service to food preparation and presentation, Morton’s is always first class.
Morton's is an outstanding steakhouse with steaks seasoned and cooked to perfection.
Very special to celebrate with my husband during Valentine’s Day weekend and our 5th Anniversary. The food was outstanding and the bread, hmm delicioso!
The service was amazing they checked on us constantly to make sure everything was good. The food was better than I expected took the recommendations from our waitress and I couldn’t have been happier!! Worth the money for sure!!
LOVED IT ! BEST STEAKHOUSE HANDSDOWN! AMAZING SERVICE!
Never got served after waiting almost two hours at the table. We left. Ruined the night.
Good service but food was barely average especially for the price. This is not in the list of top 10 steakhouses I’ve been to in NYC.
The Brussel Spouts were burned, but besides that everything was wonderful.
They made me and my Husband's first night out as Husband and Wife unforgettable, definitely will be coming back!
Paul was awesome and good was incredible!
Very nice! Elegant atmosphere, personal service and artistically prepared meal.
I know this is a chain, but this restaurant is one of my favorites in midtown East. The food is great, and the staff well-trained and friendly. I come for lunch more often than dinner as my office is nearby and it’s a great place to meet up with friends and coworkers.
Steaks are great. I love the warm steak salad. Bacon-wrapped scallops are cooked perfectly. The five onion soup is delicious and enough for a meal. The salmon is also great.
You can’t go wrong here.
I highly recommend this place. Richard the Manager called us the following day to see how the service and our food was. Highly recommended. Thank you.
Solid performance all around
Fantastic dinner. Morton’s is still one of the best steakhouses anywhere. The Cajun Ribeye was outstanding and a new addition Coulotte cut with wild mushrooms and shallot butter was outstanding and reasonably priced. Service from George and Katie was right on point. Thank you
Would’ve been nice to be seated elsewhere considering the restaurant had many tables available at the time that I arrived we were seated at the very last table right at the entrance to the private dining area, which fell nothing short of being seated next to the bathroom because there was non-stop foot traffic with waiters and GM’s walking back and forth to cater to their guest in the private area. The pathway was extremely narrow and we were basically in the way. Would’ve have been nice to see our waiter other than when our order was taken, food brought and lastly when the check was delivered.
Wonderful meal and top notch service.
Service was prompt. Very polite and attentive staff. Food was delicious!! 😋
The Food and experience was nice. The service was good but I feel we were rushed through our meal even though we had a bottle of wine. We were seated upstairs out of the action. It was as if they were trying to clear upstairs area
We celebrated my daughter’s 12th birthday here with family and we used their Restaurant Week menu. They had printed out their regular menu with a Happy 12th birthday from Morton’s on the top. Great value and we look forward to doing this again!!
Excellent evening at Morton's. Our waiter, Elvin, was a gem. All the service was professional. Food was outstanding and, as it was NY Restaurant Week, the meal was an excellent value.
We chose Morton's The Steakhouse for restaurant week. Our main interest was in getting a steak and the 6 ounce filet was perfectly cooked for both of us. We ordered two different sides, creamed spinach and horseradish mashed potatoes. We sent the potatoes back as they were not hot and they brought them back warmer but still not hot. The creamed spinach was not as good as I have had elsewhere. The two desserts we ordered were very good. A very rich chocolate mousse and excellent Keylime pie. As for the service, our waitress seemed to ignore us for quite a while after we had received our menus and were ready to order but once we did order she seemed more attentive. We were at a table for two along the wall and it was perfect for having a conversation because the rest of the restaurant seemed noisier than where we were.
Not the best steak, didn't come out cooked to proper done-ness. Service was very slow and inattentive. Wine list is comprehensive but overpriced (Kendall Jackson was 60/70$). Ambience feels like a chain. What you would expect from a chain overall
Friends and I went for NYC Restaurant Week 2020. Good time all around. Restaurant was accommodating about one of us who was late due to trains. Service was attentive and food was very good.
My tenderloin was the chewiest piece of meat I’ve ever had. I was extremely disappointed. Do they use cheaper cuts if you order the special menu?? I go to a lot of steak houses and always order tenderloin and I’ve never had anything like this.
The effort to go above and beyond for diners celebrating their birthday is fantastic!
I have been to Morton's before and this time it did not live up to past performance. Perhaps it was because we had gone for Winter Restaurant Week but the experience was not up to par.
First, my friend and I had 2 different menus; his had tomato soup as an appetizer (as was listed on the sample menu on the nycgo email) and mine had onion soup. Turns out the tomato soup was wrong (I was hoping to have that) so I opted for the house salad instead. That was disappointing; just some iceberg lettuce with chopped egg on top (I did not want the blue cheese). My friend got the beefsteak tomato which was just 2 slices of tomato on lettuce with some blue cheese. Neither one was impressive.
We both got the warm steak salad as an entree. They were fine and the steak was cooked as requested but, as a whole, it was just a salad.
Needless to say, we were both a little disappointed in our meals.
I know Morton's can do better but the same attention given to the regular menu needs to be given to the Restaurant Week Menus.
Great food and service. Enjoyed it all
The steaks here are world class, and the ambiance gives them justice. It's a great place to celebrate life if you're a meat lover like me. Service is very attentive and knowledgeable about what's on offer. The truffled fries, although not on the menu, are incredible and a great companion to the exceptional steaks. The porterhouse is my personal favorite. There's around 17 oz of fantastic beef on the individual size, and you'll actually want more once you're done with it despite its immense size. That's how good it is!
Great service. Nice atmosphere and great food and service. Super double cut pork chops, but go for it medium rare. Great molten chocolate cake too.
Wonderful! Steak cooked to perfection. Crab cakes were the best I’ve tasted
Dinner was delicious and loved the restaurant week special! Did not like the back room. I think the server forgot us way in the back. Otherwise great meal.
My friends and I take advantage of the wonderful "specials" we receive emails about, which gives us excellent value and the ability to have a fabulous meal at this otherwise pricey venue.
The food is always perfectly prepared, and delicious. We were treated like royalty, and made to feel like we've become "family". As we looked around the very crowded restaurant (it was NYC restaurant week), we noticed that everyone seemed to be having a very positive experience. Everyone was all smiles, and some even hugging their waiter or the manager as they left.
Delicious food, great location. We have clients right in the French building perfect for a business luncheon.
