Cajun Ribeye Steak
Fantastic service, great food, beautiful atmosphere!
Service was great. Food was not good. One steak was over cooked, salmon was a bit raw. Food just did not have the flavor we expected.
Very happy, overall. I hate to ding the bartender/server, because the bar area was understaffed and she was overloaded. Not really her fault (and she was so nice and friendly), but we did wait a while for service and such. Manager came over to help out and everything else was excellent.
The service and meal was fantastic. Always enjoy visiting Morton's. The staff is great and really makes our dining experience 5 Star PLUS!!!! Looking forward to our anniversary in August. It is our GO TO restaurant for special occasions. You should expect great food and excellent service.
The food, service, and atmosphere were all fantastic.
Our sides came out way after our main entrees were finished (they were ultimately comped). I had to send my steak back - and it still wasn’t cooked correctly. For the price we paid for the steak (filet), it should’ve been better than it was. The service was good. I think, like everyone else, they must be understaffed. I actually felt bad for our server!
Nice setting. Wagyu was amazing. Service on point. Best meal of the trip.
Abysmal service, pretty sure it would be blamed on staffing, the excuse that all of America is using for everything, reduce your prices or close until you can get you act together. When spending $700. for four people there should be no excuses. Steaks were steaks! sides were Denny's specials (Denny's truthfully much, much better) Bread was cakey, had to ask for butter twice then brought enough for one person. $21. for 1 crab cake. Try somewhere else, really felt
screwed, trying to ride it out by their name only.
Service excellent! Ambience great. Steak cuts not as expected but cooked as ordered.
The food was good the service was slow and not very good:(
The price point does not align with the quality of the food.
Everything was so fresh. The steak was one of the most tender I've ever had. The service was wonderful. It was a Sunday night around 5:30 and it was pretty quiet. It was a great place for a date night.
Steak underdone. Good underwhelming. Good service.
We had a nice dinner. Service was very slow and server was very indifferent not engaging us at all.
We did have the special that is currently running 3 courses for $55. My husband’s salmon was wonderful the steak frites I had was just okay.
Other Morton’s could learn from this one! They set the standard. We had a fantastic experience and will return.
The atmosphere was great, as well as the service. The wagyu meatball appetizer was phenomenal, and then it went downhill from there. A few people in our party got their food undercooked from what they asked for. 2 different potato dishes were bland. Definitely not worth the nearly $600 tab. Probably wouldn’t go back.
This restaurant is awesome. The food was excellent and the waiters. Somewhat expensive but worth the experience 100%.
Steaks were delicious as were the appetizers and desserts. Very good overall meal although a little pricey.
Excellent food and service
There are two reasons why we go to Morton's so often. First, the food is always wonderful. Be sure to try the Wagyu meatballs for an appetizer. Second, the staff is always so pleasant and welcoming. Lilly did an excellent performance as our server. We will be back there very soon!
The food at Morton’s is alway delicious! We had just arrived in Louisville that afternoon and were looking for a later reservation on the 4th of July. There were limited options!! What made our experience amazing was the service. We had the last reservation of the evening, 9:00, and our waitress was fantastic. She took her time serving us and did not rush us out at all. We were totally relaxed and enjoyed our delicious dinner after a long day of travel.
Not very good service and food came out at different times for different guests
Service was absolutely amazing! Unfortunately the food was disappointing, salmon was severely overcooked and a few sides were very bland. They gladly replaced entree, we didn't mention the sides. Expected better tasting food.
lily made our night!!! she was more than amazing!!!
the staff was incredible!!! thank you for a wonderful dinning experience!! the food was delicious!!!
I am a chef. The food at this location was not good at all. Our New York Strip was requested to be medium; it was burnt completely on the outside. CUT THE HEAT DOWN! Save the char for last. The salmon was cooked to a perfect medium, except they forgot all seasoning and I almost choked on sharp bones. We stood at the host stand for 8 minutes before we were greeted by anyone. Servers and the bartender just looked at us as we were in the wrong establishment. Drink way over priced and martini glass only 2/3 full. They masked the empty glass with about a 1/2 inch rim of sugar.
The best part was our server and the hostess was nice after she noticed us. I’d probably never visit a Morton’s ever again.
There were only four tables sat and you put us all on top of each other. My husbands steak was burnt, my brussel sprouts were mushy, and our hot mousse cake was hard and dry (like you had microwaved a leftover). I don’t want to complain about the dessert- it was complimentary for our anniversary. I realize staffing issues may have played a part, but it was not the service you have provided for us in the past.
It was an overall disappointment for the price.
Staff did a very good job of recognizing a birthday in our group of 8. Tough to order for a 4 and 10 year old. Sat for 10 minutes before I request a visit from someone for a drink order. Couple of mistakes between our waitress and kitchen. Food was not at the standard I am accustomed from Morton’s. I provided a generous tip has we need to be “nice” to those that “show up” during these transition times from COVID.
Short staff made wait for food too long. Waitress did her best to explain situation. Not the normal Morton experience.
Get the Cajun Ribeye. It’s excellent! Also the cocktails are great.
Weekend staycation. Appetizer, salad, and dessert was good. The main entree filet and lobster Mac and cheese was disappointing. Much better options at other restaurants.
Our server and the manager went above and beyond our expectations. They gave us excellent recommendations for our meal and our tourism. Will definitely return when we are back in this area.
Really enjoyed the service food was fantastic! The dinning room was so elegant and beautiful such a wonderful place for a romantic dinner. My fiancé loved it!
The staff and atmosphere was amazing but the food was not. I would recommend Jeff Ruby over this restaurant. The steaks were somehow tough and not juicy despite being medium rare, did not like the cheese for the lobster macaroni, asparagus were tough, crab cake wasn’t good and was also small, and last but not least nothing was done for the special occasion which was Father’s Day. I absolutely love the staff was diverse and that’s the only reason I’ll come back and recommend
The atmosphere there was great but the food wasn't as good as I remembered.
Our server was awesome. Did a great job.
Good food. Sides were not impressive. Super slow. 2 hours is too much from start to finish.
We had a party of 10, one third of their patrons and the kitchen got almost all the orders incorrect. Five steaks were sent back, and the sides sat and got cold.
The wait staff and manager were not much help. They said they had a new kitchen staff, but seriously?
We probably spent $1000 for our table and it was very disappointing.
We will not be back.
My husband and I had a fantastic first time at Morton’s. The our filet mignonette was fantastic and the recommendation of truffle butter really made the entire meal perfect. I can’t wait to dine here again- the service and staff were great.
The service was extremely slow. Our order was wrong. The bill was high. The music was very loud.
The steak was phenomenal. The sides/other dishes were good but didn’t match the excellence of the steak and their prices.
