Morton's was one of my favorite restaurants before Covid-19. I understand the situation these restaurants are in but making the loyal customers pay for there survival is not for me. All the steaks on the menu were listed as MP and they did not have many of the standards that I previously ordered. So I ordered a 6 oz filet. When I got the bill it was $43.00. Previously the item I ordered was a mixed grill that came with a 6oz filet and 3 grilled shrimp and 3 scallops for about the same price. I also ordered a scallop appetizer that came with 3 scallops for $23.00. So now I have paid $66.00 and did not get any shrimp when I ordered the mixed grill. The food was all great but I cannot pay 1.5 times what I used to pay for less food. Right now I cannot recommend this restaurant because the prices have gone up more than what is fair. If price does not matter the food is great and the service is also great.
We dined in for my birthday. The food was A+ & the service was superb. They even took our picture for my birthday and put it in a frame, complimentary. The restaurant was empty, just us & 2 other couples, however it was a Thursday night, covid is still going on, and BLM protests are happening the next street over so it’s possible that a combination of those things are bringing business level down. We did notice a DoorDash order being picked up while we were there so fingers crossed that Morton’s is still holding its head above water during this difficult time. We love to eat here!

Good evening and met expectations. With the limitations due to starting up, it just didn’t exceed expectations. Was happy with the service food and experience.

Dinner with our daughter who is going to med school in Louisville. Everything about the experience was great. Especially the food. Graham was our waiter.
The bread was burned on the bottom. My filet was charred and tough. In the past I have received filets at Jeff Ruby's and Stoney River Steaks that were juicy and tender (you could cut with a fork). Butterfly cut is acceptable but the meat should not be charred and tough. The steak was subpar to one at Outback of any other chain. I did not ask for it to be redone because my meal took 5 minutes longer than others to arrive at the table. I asked my friends to go ahead and eat 3 times so as their food does not get cold cut they refused. I didn't want to delay their dining experience any longer.

The main course food while it tasted good was not hot. Salad was excellent. Bread pudding was fabulous. Just wish the server would have been more attentive and she skipped one persons order completely....had to tell her she skipped him. Plus luke warm steak and potatoes was not a great showing for a steak house:(
Three diners, three different entrees, three different opinions. One steak a little overcooked but still the most favorite steak he's ever eaten. Another steak, juicy, cooked to perfection, just not as flavorful as hoped. Third dish, seafood platter of overcooked shrimp, bacon wrapped scallops, and a dried out crab cake; they even left off the mustard sauce for the crab cake, but once added, just was like mayo, didn't enhance. Truffle fries were the best fries ever and the scalloped potatoes were chunks, with cheese sauce. Dessert of soufflés were fantastic with coffees and cappuccino. Service was great.
This is simply the best Steakhouse House I’ve ever gone in Louisville! The ambiance is fancy and cozy, the service is outstanding. Our server Debby was absolutely friendly all the time and made the night pleasant. The food was delicious. We ordered the Filet Mignon, which was cooked perfectly as requested. The sides, creamed spinach and mashed potatoes were also incredible! Everything in our dinner was superb! I’m sure that I’ll go back Morton’s again.
The filet was pure perfection! We love the garlic mashed potatoes and tried the creamed spinach . It’s a new favorite now .

Food was very good and so was service. Didn't love the sangaria. Too much bitters and not enough wine but all else was very good.

The side dish we ordered came out ice cold in the middle. They replaced it with another that was also ice cold in the middle. After that I noticed my Medium Ribeye was charred black and ashy. I just cut off the burnt parts since I didn’t want to further take away from the tone out with my wife.
Do not go to Morton’s if you want a special night.
We were celebrating my father’s 80 th birthday. The table was decorated just for him and a photo of the dinner party was taken for a beautiful memory. Debbie was the best , explaining all dishes expertly. We felt very welcomed and well taken care of. Morton’s has the best steaks and atmosphere, and never fails to deliver an excellent experience.
My wife and daughters food was amazing. The sides and bread were amazing. The service was beyond amazing. My steak on the other and was a fail. My first steak had a hair in it, and the replacement was over cooked and dry. It was a scaring disappointment on an amazing evening.
Out of 4 of us only one of our steaks were cooked the way we ordered it. The manager was nice and agreed they were wrong ( ordered medium rare,came out well done) and took them off our bill but we didnt have time to reorder our steaks. Our broccoli was so underdone that it was inedible. The bad thing thing is I like this restaurant but this isnt the first time we've had these problems. MUCH better options in the city.

Our reserved table was right next to the kitchen. The sommelier spilled wine on the table. A hostess came and co weed the stain, but then the waitress spilled it again when refilling our glasses. The potatoes, asparagus, scallops and dessert were great. Both steaks were over salted and the shrimp was very salty. Not at all the experience you expect for $150/person. Even after letting the waitress know about the overuse of salt, we never even got an apology from the manager. We weren’t looking for a discount, but it would have been nice to at least receive an apology. I guess they didn’t care about our less than stellar experience.

Food was very good and prepared to our request. Only complaint was that the meal was a bit rushed. We hadn’t finished our salads when they brought out the entrees. Otherwise, very good.
