Pretty good steak (better than it used to be), but many other better choices in town (Nick & Stef's, La Boucherie, etc.)
We have very bad service on dine la week. It was difficult to get hold of anyone to get what we need.
Good value during dinela week, great steaks, good desert and cocktails.
Went here with a friend for dinner during Dine L.A. Great service, food, and atmosphere. Had the Filet Mignon for my entree with chocolate mousse for dessert. Definitely coming back one day!
Filet Mingnon was raw and had to send it back, then food came back burnt. Charged $9 without knowing for pelligrino and when we asked our server about her response was, “ so what do you want me to do about it?”
Excellent service and food.
Best lobster Mac and cheese!!!!
Only exceptions was the sauté spinach was to salty for us
The soup and salad combo cannot be beat. Great value and the proper portion also.
Terrible waitress. Could not get her attention and when we did she had an attitude.
Very nice for a family outing
Came in for a quick lunch. In n Out
Not sure about everyone else but our service was slow and disappointing. To go into a restaurant like this and have poor service is not acceptable. I bet we sat at our table for 10 minutes before we were greeted. The servers would disappear for lengthy periods throughout our meal. We won’t be back
Birthday dinner was amazing! Servers and host were beyond helpful made it a very special night. Thank you!
This was, as expected, an excellent location and experience. Great quality cuts of beef and lovely sides. The only thing I would bring up - with no relation to the wonderful steak, side dishes, and escargot we had - is that we ordered a Chilled Seafood Platter. It was definitely smaller than the name would suggest, and the seafood sub par in my opinion. I wouldn't order it again or recommend it to other people.
That being said, the Porterhouse and Prime Rib (the main reasons why one would go to Morton's in the first place, anyways) were absolutely spectacular and I would 100% recommend them for this reason.
The food was good. Lighting was somewhat too dim against the wall and dining tables were too close together. With that, The seating against the wall was a bench seat and so when a young boy at adjacent table was bouncing on his seat, my date was also bouncing in her seat. Very unpleasant.
Generous portions cooked to perfection. Cocktails were delicious and a very strong pour.
Food at every course was a delight. Came for the steak but loved the appetizers, the salads, the crab, oysters and crazy good deserts. Awesome wine list and great recommendations. Service team was professional, timely and knowledgeable.
Morton's DTLA is always a favorite with me and my crew. We've celebrated many birthdays and holidays lunches there and Morton's never disappoints. My ONLY recommendation would be to brin back my FAVORITE birthday lunch, Tenderloin Medallions Al Forno ... that is my all-time favorite meal.
Surprisingl meh for lunch. Watery warm steak salad. Meh chopped salad. Good onion soup. Bland shrimp salad. Service good. Overall nothing to make one want to go back.
Will say more when I have more
Everything was great except my steak has too much fat or nerve on it.
Our steaks were very very salty.
Great service and great food!
Food was good, corking fee high
always love coming here! Food is delicious and the staff is exceptional
I really enjoyed the mashed cauliflower, mushrooms, t-bone steak, and lobster.
Good was good, and my customer enjoyed the dinner. But as the restaurant got busier, there weren’t enough servers and our server got too busy to manage us. We were going to order dessert, but we didn’t see him in time. Ended up being late to our game because we couldn’t find our server, had to ask another for our check. Would likely not go back prior to a Laker game.
Ordered a steak for mediun and came out overcooked and took an hour to get a salad.
Morton’s steakhouse is first class you will not be disappointed with the food or the service it will be a great experience for you
I actually heard not good reviews from people who ate here, so I was pleasantly surprised with my experience. Hostess and server were friendly, food was delicious, atmosphere was comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed it here and can’t wait for another occasion to return.
We came to celebrate 2 special birthdays, and were not disappointed. We started with cocktails (honestly, THE best lemon drop martinis!!!) and ordered scallops and crab cakes as appetizers. So good. Everything is a la carte, so you're able to pick your favorite dishes to accompany your entree. Our wonderful server recommended the chopped spinach salad (so glad he did) and to go along with our perfect rib-eye steaks, we ordered baked potatoes and sauteed mushrooms. Absolutely delicious!!! They surprised us with 2 complimentary desserts, along with candles - incredible chocolate cake (seriously one of the best I've had) and cheesecake. Impeccable service, beautiful decor, fantastic food. All in all, a wonderful dining experience. Cannot wait to go back.
It was my 1st visit and I enjoyed it very much.
The food is great. The mix drinks are very good.
Seating and service was fast and very comfortable.
Todo perfecto! Mi lugar favorito en todo LA.
Ribeye con bruselss sprouts!
Birthday dinner for daughter
The waitress was never around our table, kept us waiting for 20 mins for every beer, bottle of wine, coffee..
3 cappuccinos came while we ordered a cappuccino, macchiato and something else.
They always tried to get rid of our plates while we're still eating. They don't even ask.
The food was good but we will never visit this restaurant again.
Had a birthday dinner with my wife and mother. The maitre d’ was welcoming and accommodating. The personalized birthday menu was a nice touch, as was the complementary birthday cake (cheesecake, my fave!) and photo. Our server (I’m horrible with names, sorry) was good, but could’ve been a little more attentive. My cocktail order wasn’t served exactly as I wanted, but that wasn’t a deal breaker. The food was on par with what you’d expect from a top tier steakhouse. The table had no complaints about anything ordered. I had the waygu rib eye cap steak done medium rare, and it was like butter! We’ll definitely consider Morton’s for a return trip when dining in DTLA!
P.S. - They even gave us a discount for our special event!Thank you Morton’s!
