Great service and attentiveness as always
Perfect steak as expected
Great experience as always however miss the display cart
Friendly service and attentive staff.
I recommend it for any business meeting(s).
In general, the steaks were overcooked as compared to what was asked for. And the food quality was just above average. I have had some great meals at Morton’s. This was not one of them.
Really the best steakhouse anywhere! Everything was just perfect!
Morton’s is iconic but the service we got was lacking. There was a long wait (10-15) after we were seated before anyone acknowledged us at all. It didn’t get much better even after the manager came over any apologized. Maybe we will go to Ruth’s Chris next time.
Food absolutely excellent, hot, fresh, etc. Had a tough time talking with waitress, could not do this but can do that. never had an issue before. she redeem herself when she asked if I was a Landry's member and gladly said she would look it up. She found it but on my previous 2 visits they could not find my landry's number. the lighting could be a little brighter had a hard time seeing the menu and wine list.
The food was definitely below average. The biggest disappointment was the chocolate souffle. When served it was literally a saucer of runny liquid. I questioned the server and he said that was the way it was there. We realized upon the first bite that it was raw and uncooked batter. We reported it to a waiter and the manager then appeared apologetically and offered us another desert that was not good and we did not eat it. Our waiter was sweet but not at all the caliber one would expect at an expensive restaurant. My last visit to Morton's was close to 20 years ago at the Beverly Hills location with a similar experience. I will not be back
We were realy satisfied your services and tasty dishes.
We want to visit again and recommend to all.
Thank you so much excellent time.
The food is really good and the service is fantastic
This cavernous restaurant has tables packed so tight it could be a benefit dinner. Service goes through the steps of being a 'nice' place but it's easy to see they don't really care about your experience as much as turning your table over to the next guest. It's the Applebee's of fine dining. Downtown has much better stakehouses in terms of service, food, and ambiance at the same price point.
Our waiter, Sean, was the best!! We had an amazing Birthday/ Valentines dinner! Thank you Morton’s
Loved this place..awsome date night would definitely go back..great service and staff was great
Great service great food love it
Inconsistent service. Steaks over cooked by lots. Broccoli over cooked. The bright spot was the jump shrimps were delicious and came with a very healthy portion of cocktail sauce.
Great beef. Avoid the seafood. Something wasn't right about the lobster. Just didn't taste great.
To much fat on my steak for the price. Everything else was excellent
Morton's does steak right! Always seems to come out like I order it. My wife got her filet butterflied and it still came pink - perfect for her. Sides are huge, desserts are solid.
Food was delivered wrong several times. My steak salad was served on clumpy iceberg lettuce! Who does that?
It was great to have such a tender steak that melted in my mouth.
Food was a little warmer than room temp. The only thing that was hot were the truffle fries.
Presentation was weak and the service was meh. Server Didn’t know their own menu and after we ordered, he came back two different occasions telling us we can alter this and that or this isn’t available. Probably will never go back there. This was my first time and for the amount of money it costs, better off going to Ruth Chris or Houston’s. Poor way to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
The value of the restaurant has been decreasing to a year. On the last visit, I ordered chicken with mashed potatoes. The chicken barely had a sauce on it. Very plain. The potatoes were cold. When I told the server about this, she said that's the way it is. For dessert, I had cheesecake. It was sold old and rubbery we couldn't possibly eat it. Again we complained and the response was that all of the cheesecakes are like that and she wouldn't bring a fresher slice. I think I'm done with the Los Angeles location
This Morton’s is perfect!! The service was on point! The food was Outstanding!! Thank you so much for a incredible experience!! Two thumbs way Up!!
Pricy but delicious food, they do steak right and the salmon dish was just as good as the steak.
Date night ! Great restaurant
The service was extremely poor based on the pricing scale of this restaurant. The host seemed almost displeased that we had shown up (we were dressed in professional attire and were extremely polite to him). We had to follow up with a busboy to get our drinks after ordering them with the server, several times our server made eye contact but failed to come over to attend to our table when we needed something, the busboy had to come and bring us several items we had requested such as straws, a knife that had not been set at the table, a refill on our drinks, etc. Towards the end of our lunch, there was only our table and one other table in the dining room, but we failed to see a server for a solid 5-7 minutes. This was unacceptable for the price point and the setting of the venue. I would not recommend this location to a friend.
Everything was delicious and the service was out of this world!
There are better locations, this has been one of the worst steakhouses I’ve been to in a while. The food was ok, but nothing that wowed me or made me want to come back for more. The service was decent, our server was friendly, but could have been more attentive. I was not pleased with how my food was boxed up, not all of the items were included, which was irritating. I called the restaurant when I discovered items missing and the manager has yet to return my call. I’m extremely disappointed in the quality of the food I received and even more disappointed by the way my missing items were handled by management. If I paid for something, I expect it to come home with me, especially when there was more than half remaining. I will not return to this location again.
Turned me away even though i had legitimate reservations at open table. Embarrassing because it was my boss’ birthday celebration that day.
Had to request menu, bread plates, & straws multiple times.
Always always great service, great food & just an overall great place to dine. We’ve been here before for DINELA, even though I mainly use DINELA to try new places, my pallatte always brings me back to here! I ordered the Caeser salad, which was fresh & crspy, except the crouton was way too hard. I also had the Shrimp Scampi Cappellini which was very flavorful of lemon, could’ve used more garlic, but still nice. My friend had the lobster bisque which she enjoyed, and the rib eye and mashed potatoes, again very nice & flavorful. We both enjoyed a nice chocolate raspberry mousse for desert which was just Perfect! Our server made the dining experience beyond perfect! Thank you.
Been here several times and this is the first time my ribeye steak had no taste. There's no seasoning or grilled taste. You can tell that the steak had no grill mark on the steak. I had to send the steak back, and it looked like they threw it back on the grill and sprinkled some seasoning which cooked the meat a bit more.
I ate it and didn't want to send it back again. Very disappointing, have to think twice before coming back here.
We were a party of five -- two were new to Morton's. We all enjoyed the DineLA Menu, great company and conversation. I enjoyed the best Filet Mignon, perfect Lobster Bisque and the sensational KeyLime Pie!!! Everyone in our party was thoroughly satisfied with their meals, exceptional service, lovely ambiance ... very relaxed!!! We will dine again!!!
I've been dining at Morton's for almost 30 years. However, what made this different than my previous visits was that it was my wife's birthday. They pulled out all the stops and even provided a complimentary side dish. My wife and family members raved about food and the attentiveness of the servers.
The table setting is not complete ( no bread plate)
The meat is over cook and dry.
The legendary double chocolate cake is day old ( the cake itself is crumbling and chocolate inside none or dry up)
There is no excuse for a busy Saturday night in comparison with anothe Morton location.
Romantic ambiance, great quality food (with shareable portions), and good for special occasion since it’s expensive.
Excellent food for dine LA. Mortons had the best food and valve. I went 3 times here.
The service was impeccable
Pretty good steak (better than it used to be), but many other better choices in town (Nick & Stef's, La Boucherie, etc.)
