Great service and food and Diana Taki and Nouvie Johnson were amazing to work with regarding setting up the reservation and reserving the room. I would go here again just based on their attention to detail and service. A great overall experience and the food was great as well.
The staff was absolutely wonderful and the food amazing. We were in town to celebrate my mom's 70th birthday and the staff made it great! Menu had a happy birthday title on it, the had a staff member take our photo and gave each member of our party a photo, and my mom loved her birthday dessert. Thank you Morton's for marking it a wonderful experience for my mom!!
Solid 4.5 Stars. YES, we would go back. LONGER VERSION: This is my 5th time to this particular Morton's, and it always does a very, very good job. This time was no exception. COCKTAILS: I kept it simple, with a glass of Chateau Montelena Cab - which was excellent. I am so glad Morton's has premium wine by the glass - since my companion did not drink (had to take her kids to school the next morning), I indulged in a couple of glasses. BTW - The cocktail list is very interesting. FOOD: We shared a shrimp cocktail appetizer (OK, I only got one), which was very good. She had a pound of the King Crab legs, and I the petite Filet and shrimp combo. Crab legs were fresh and very tasty. My steak was perfectly cooked - as was the shrimp. A nice yummy combo. The peppercorn sauce on the side is a nice addition. SERVICE: Excellent from Brian - our main server. Advice and attentiveness you would expect from Morton's. The manager came over to serve the wine and chat for a bit - a nice touch. OVERALL: Yes we would go back - a higher end steak house that would please most. A nice place to take fellow employees or clients. No view and off the strip - which actually can be a good thing. Prices will set you back - dinner for two above with a good tip was over $300. Ouch - but hey - you are not at an Outback.
Oddly while the restaurant was not busy on a Saturday night the service was lacking. It was obvious there were many empty tables so we expected attentive service. I ordered a glass of wine and then had to wait and wait for it be brought to the table. We ordered the off menu special which included dessert. The server took our dessert order and then at the end of the meal asked if we wanted anything else. We reminded him our meal included the dessert and that we had already given him the order at the outset. Unfortunately at this point we were pressed for time because we had a show to go. I had timed everything so that we could complete our meal, but with this error it was concerning we would have enough to enjoy dessert. He brought one dessert, but the other was no where to be seen. After waiting I finally asked where it was. He went to check and came back and said it still had 8 minutes to go. Seriously! I was so disgusted because we had to leave. I waited a little and then asked a man at the front desk (could not find our server) to kindly pack the cake to go. I then noticed it had finally been brought out. We grabbed two bites and had to leave. So disappointed. Can't believe we had to leave without enjoying chocolate lava cake with ice cream. It was clearly the server's error. If the restaurant had been busy I would have understood the delays in getting the wine, our meal and the dessert. Not a happy dessert camper.
Great place for a romantic anniversary dinner. The food was excellent. The waitstaff was fast and friendly. We needed a cab to get back to our hotel and they called one for us. When it arrived we went out to get it only to find someone else had jumoed in it however the valet was quick to flag another one down for us.
We dined here after a convention show because we had 2 gift cards from AMEX points. We had cards for 3 years because they closed down in the city closest to us (Minneapolis,) a couple years back. We were greeted at the door and seated immediately (had reservations.) Ordered the Crab cocktail and was good, a pop then meal. Our server was Trevor and was one of the best I have ever had serve me. I ordered the Cajun 24OZ Porterhouse with the 5 Onion Soup, my girlfriend 16OZ Prime Ribeye and the Lyonnaise Potatoes. The bread served at the table was superb, the butter like silk. The soup was good, not as strong as I like and a little too much Rosemary for my tastes. The rest of the meal came and looked magnificent, then we started to eat. The Ribeye was good, not excellent, good. The Porterhouse was bad after the filet, the steaks are listed as Prime but I don't see that they are better than Choice if that even. Pretty disappointed, our astute waiter saw that the steak 'waste' was piling up and asked to help us, I hated to eat part of it and send it back but at the end there was nothing left to do. Morton's refunded the steak without any question, even comped me a dessert (Creme Brulee,) which was the best I have had in a long time. The manager was deeply concerned as was the waiter and did everything they could do to make things right. We are a Landry's member and try to eat with them since I believe they try hard to please but they will need a better cut of meat for me to give a thought of eating at Morton's again. As for price, they are spendy but hey, the prices are listed, if it's too much, go elsewhere. I have eaten at the Circus Circus Steakhouse since the day it opened and still believe it to be the best I have had in Vegas and maybe anywhere, I really wanted to see if there was something better out there but in my opinion, there still isn't. You could not ask for better service, period.
We were celebrating my wife's birthday while in Las Vegas and chose Morton's for dinner. Everything about the experience was beyond our expectations. From the moment we walked in until we left. The food was perfect. The service was exceptional and we enjoyed the evening very much. Kudos to the entire staff and especially Taylor our server. She was a true professional and very personable and knowledgeable. Needless to say, we will definitely return again.
My husband and I celebrated our 38th wedding anniversary at Morton's Las Vegas. This was our first visit. Everything from making our reservations online, to the fabulous food and fantastic service made this a very special night. Mortons even surprised us with dessert for our anniversary. My husband Dan even said " this is the best filet mignon I've ever had" thanks Morton's for a great evening.
A disappointment. The Halibut was totally over cooked! It was specifically requested to be moist ... not dry. It came out almost uneatable. Too bad. The filet was good, but could not overcome the dismay about the fish. Although not charged for the halibut, the managers attitude about it was somewhat aloof ... do not order "fish or chicken in a steak house." Wow!
We has an amazing experience. From the moment we walked in the door we were treated very special. Our menu had our anniversary printed on it and they also took a free photo of us, and provided it in a nice folder signed by the staff. The food was wonderful, and served at a nice slow pace so you can enjoy every bite. Our waitress Pam was amazing. The whole experience was wonderful. All the staff is very attentive and friendly.
This was my first and last experience with Morton's. Most of the high-end steakhouses are really the same. You expect great food and service. This is the first time I have ever considered a place like this to be somewhat disappointing. The filets were not as tender as other places, but were seasoned and cooked properly. The twice baked au gratin potatoes were surprisingly bland, as was the onion bread and spinach/mushroom combo. The onion soup was good, but I somehow had the misfortune of finding two whole pieces of Bay Leaf in mine (nearly ate each one and thought they were pieces of parchment paper). Service was prompt, friendly, and attentive. My Moscow Mule was excellent and would recommend it to anyone. Regrettably, I did not discover until the next morning when turning in our rental car the dent and chips of white paint in the driver's door that could only have been put there by the valet. Can't wait to see what I am charged for that.
