Morton's The Steakhouse - Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
4.5 Stars - again. EXCELLENT. YES, we would go back. We have been to this particular Morton's 8+ times over the years, and it always does an excellent job. Service by Laura was excellent, and we had a nice chat with the manager as well.
Started with the Lobster bisque and Bib lettuce salad. Very tasty. This time my companion had the crab legs, and I the petite filet with shrimp combo. We finished it all - excellent as we would expect from Morton's. This is one of our "go-to" steakhouses off the strip. Wine selection - especially premium wines by the glass are quite good in the 90+ ratings range.
I have taken clients here before and sealed a couple of deals - a good place to do just that without all the noise of the strip. Food and service - always consistently very good to excellent. Prices are not cheap - but then again if you want to impress your client or significant other this is a great place to go.
The seafood appetizer was way over priced for the portions however the steak was average priced for similar higher end steak houses. Server was new and was very nervous, felt his trainer should have been watching over him more. Overall it was a good experience but there are way too many steak houses that provide much better service that for the same amount of money so we won’t be going back
This was my third time visiting this restaurant. We were here for my 13th anniversary as well as New Year's Eve dinner. They made the night special with a themed menu, free desert and a printed picture of our special night. The food was just amazing. We will definitely celebrate here again.
Arrived for 7:30 reservation and was seated immediately (I requested a booth and the gentleman seating me pulled out the table for me sit. Very nice touch!). Ordered a glass of Markham Sauvignon Blanc. Very nice, light flavorful taste. Ordered Prime Pork Chop, Lyonnaise Potatoes (no pepper) & Asparagus.
Bread arrived very quickly, and very hot, like it just came out of the oven. Needed a knife & folk to cut. Butter melted quickly. Light toasted garlic taste. Meal arrived 15 mins later. Pork Chop was steaming hot off the grill, cooked all the way through (with butterfly cut). You can taste the charbroil/grill flavor. Very good!! The jumbo asparagus was great, not over cooked. Added some salt. And the Lyonnaise potatoes were a little bland (most likely from asking for no pepper, but I added salt) and served with cooked onions. Would have liked some parsley or some herbs added to the potatoes maybe? But overall very pleased. And the waitress checked on me 5 mins after meal arrived. Very attentive.
Lastly, I ordered the creme brûlée (with strawberry instead of raspberry). Arrived within 3 mins. Had a nice hard texture on top, but the actual cream inside could have set a little thicker (it was borderline runny).
Side note: My waitress was very "orderly", she made sure my fork/spoon was readily available once my food arrived, and she swept the crumbs off the table. Showed she is polished and cares, and she was friendly. Very pleasant.
Pro Tip: prior to my reservation, I joined the Landry's Club ($25 one time fee, no annual subscription cost), and upon signing up, they give you a $25 credit. The points were applied to my bill during my visit at Morton's. So it paid for itself. Highly recommended.

I'm sorry to say that, based on the "center cut prime ribeye" we had this night, the quality of Morton's beef has gone downhill dramatically. We could have grilled (at home) a USDA Choice ribeye from Costco and it would have been much more tender and enjoyable. I really prefer to give positive reviews but I'm just being honest. Our sides were both very good and dessert (their "legendary sundae" was fine, also....as well as the service. But this steak was so disappointing, I doubt that we'll be back. There are too many consistently excellent steakhouses in Las Vegas to waste another dollar at Morton's.
We waited for over 35 minutes for our entrees. One of our entrees, rack of lamb, was ordered med rare but arrived mid-well done.
The other two dishes were done as ordered.
The server was illequiped to handle the situation. The manager was accommodating even though all he did was take off the lamb order.
We will never go back.
Excellent. Around 4.5 Stars. YES, we would go back. LONGER VERSION This is my 6th time to this particular Morton's over the years, and it always does an excellent job. SERVICE: Seated promptly by the manager, and Taylor - our server - was excellent. Just enough attention, timeliness and advice to make for a nice evening. FOOD: I had the "Walk through Napa" wine flight, my companion had a nice Cab. Very good selection of wine and cocktails here. She had Crab Legs, I the Petite Filet. Asparagus and "Lyonnaise" potatoes for sides - all excellent, perfectly cooked. Nothing left and we are not big people. TIPS for DINING here: if you want a quiet conversation and want to see and be seen - then ask for one of the booths against the wall. Great place to close a business deal if you need to bring a client, or bring your staff after the trade show (I have done this a few times). No windows and off the Strip so distractions are minimal. VALUE: Prices will set you back - dinner for two above with a good tip was near $300. But hey - you are not at a Longhorn Steakhouse. There might be more "hip" steakhouses in Vegas, but Morton's is always super consistent.
I loved the ambience in the restaurant; the lighting, music, and helpful staff helped to create a mood for our celebration. The food was prepared with a perfect balance of ingredients and the filet mignon was beyond description. The chef at Morton's knows how to cook a steak!
