The valet parking wasn’t open but street and garage parking were readily accessible. Really good experience.
Taylor was our waitress she was absolutely amazing!
No special menu for Mother's Day food was not good for the price. Cesar salad had brown wilted lettuce, lobster bisque was super salty. Nothing special. Should have gone to Ruth Chris. I had to use a 250.00 gift card will never be back.
Date night with my wife just to get out and relax, and try a different restaurant and ambiance.
This place was EVERYTHING! The steak was so so good!
The food was good. Filets ordered medium well were well done but still flavorful if a bit dry. Our server Kay was excellent. Hot chocolate cake and key lime pie were delicious.
I enjoyed the ambiance, the service and the food. I would highly recommend!!!!
The food was wonderful. Service was very good and the atmosphere is so nice.
fantastic service. food tasted excellent. only issue was porterhouse steak came out well done despite being ordered medium rare, server took back immediately and within less than 5 mins we had the perfect replacement steak. they also comped the entire steak, which we did not ask for.
espresso martinis, lobster bisque, and desserts were amazing! would go back again for sure.
We ordered three Porterhouse steaks for our main dish and requested medium rare. We received steaks unevenly cooked and burnt on one side. They were tasty none the less but would appreciate a better quality product in the future and please stay consistent as I will accept this as an off night for Morton's. Other than that, a perfect evening at a great steak house.
Great experience....It's unfortunate the Hyatt's leasing of the hotel to the military has really hurt the restaurant. The inability to valet was my only disappointment. I will frequent this restaurant in the future.
The food was really good and our service was quick. I can't say the same thing about the next table but they had a different waiter. Our waitress was excellent, attentive and quick! The food was really good. We ended up getting 2 different main dishes and sides and split everything. The cod was amazing. The other dish was the filet mignon mixed grill. The steak was excellent, cooked medium. It comes with 2 shrimp, 2 bacon wrapped scallops and 2 pieces of asparagus. We also ordered the side of asparagus and au gratin potatoes. The cocktails were good also. The only slight downside to the visit was the parking but it wasn't a deal breaker. The next time I go, I will definitely try the crab cake, lobster bisque, lobster mac and cheese and brussel sprouts.
Brian was our server and was wonderful. Morton’s never fails to impress; food and presentation flawless.
Excellent service at Morton's. Love the food. Great porch for experiencing sunsets on the river - it was overcast Friday night while we took friends out there for the first time... Won't mind returning for a second attempt one bit ; ) Thank you to our service & management!!
Amazing dinner with incredible service. The Shrimp Alexander and the Molten Chocolate Cake were as good as we remembered.
Very Mediocre. I grew up going to Morton’s for every special occasion..The food was usually fantastic, the service was impeccable, and the ambiance was special. I was excited to try the one in Jacksonville for the first time. Unfortunately, tonight the food was mediocre, the service was very good, and the ambiance was awful. We had a view of the parking lot. I had the bone in rib-eye, and quite frankly I have had better cuts of meat from Publix, and I’ve cooked it better myself. My wife had the fillet and it was slightly larger than a golf ball...definitely nothing special about it. Our waitress, Cathy-Lee was great. Very personable and very attentive. I am assuming Covid had a lot to do with it, but the restaurant was very empty and depressing. They no longer have the rolling menu of raw meat at the beginning, or the wonderful soufflé. It was my wedding anniversary, and overall, the experience was a huge let down. I went to the Cowford Chop House 2 weeks ago and it made my meal at Morton’s seem like the Lone Star Steakhouse. We will not be returning. As much as I hate to say it, especially with all of the very fond memories I have of Morton’s over the last 30 yrs, my advice....don’t waste your time and money...go to Cowford instead. There, your money will be better spent and you won’t be disappointed.
We chose Morton's to enjoy our Easter dinner, and we were very pleased. Our server, Curtis, was very knowledgeable about the menu for both drinks and entrees, made suggestions if we were not sure of what we desired. The dinner was excellent, filet mignons cooked to perfection, and side dishes very good also. And I enjoyed a Brandy Alexander with ice cream----very, very good! Definitely requires another visit!
Was an amazing night thank you Mortons. The bacon wrapped scallops are to die for.
Service, prime rib and ribeye were excellent. Lobster tails a little undercooked. Cheesecake dessert was excellent and even better that is was complimentary for our anniversary. Overall great anniversary experience.
Walter was wonderful even dealing with rude people near us
Amazing! Great service and wonderful food. Great date night out with my husband! Taylor and Brett were wonderful!
Great food. Support your local restaurants
Great service! They made my birthday & anniversary so special. Will always come back
Glad to see it back in Jacksonville. One of our favorite places.
Dinner and service was excellent!!!
Service was great. The attention to detail, energy and engagement of the staff here is second to none. The food was delicious and came out in perfect timing. This was one of the top ten meals of my lifetime.
It started off great and ended horribly. Our drinks and appetizers were satisfying. The issue came when a very loud and vulgar table was sat next to us and it turned into a raunchy sports bar rather than an upscale restaurant. I complained to the manager. They were quiet for all of three minutes before it began again. We had just got our entrees and had them packed up and left. I threw away $200.00. The nail in the coffin is when I was leaving I spoke with the manager again and her response to me was next time I come if I want a quiet cable I should reserve one in the back. Really? Why couldn't you move them, they had not even gotten their food. So I will never visit here again. I will stick with Cowford and Matthews
Everything was perfect. Service was great and food was delicious. It was both my husband‘s birthday and our anniversary and it couldn’t have went any better. Loved the ribeye and the potatoes au gratin. We will be back!!
Maybe its because we grill a lot or run the Traeger a couple of times a month but the food was not exceptional. The prices are exceptional but not the food. There are better values in town. The vibe was not there probably because of CV19.
We really enjoyed dinner on the patio with the beautiful skyline and bridge lights in the background. Loved this Morton's! Our server, Nick, was particularly outstanding. It was a perfect night of dining out!
We want to let you know what a great job Taylor our server did for us. The food was great and we had plenty leftovers to have second dinner.
Dirty Martini is the drink of choice.
Our server Brian was incredible. Food was delicious as always. They went above and beyond to make our special occasion memorable.
Great food, service and ambiance
The birthday boy was happy
We had a great dinner for my husband’s birthday. The steak was delicious and we are very pleased with the new side dishes.
The steaks were on point. But the service made the dining experience perfect. The attention to details by the manager David.
Our sever Brian was excellent! He was on point with his recommendations for the Cajun Ribeye and The New New Stripe. He knows the menu and is so friendly.
Everything was actually very good. Just wish they'd get rid of the 70's bad movie music that seems to play scattered with a Sinatra tune every once in a while. I'll all for Sinatra but the background music to the old 70's music soundtracks on a not very good sound system makes me wonder why they haven't changed this.
The atmosphere was great! I highly recommend Morton's.
Wonderful service, chicken Christopher was phenomenal. My filet wasn't very tender surprisingly. Also creamed spinach isn't a winner. The rest was very good.
Amazing service, excellent food
