Dads 79th birthday…. It was amazing ! Will and Gabriel were 10 out of 10!
As usual, we enjoyed our experience at Morton’s. The service , ambiance and food was exceptional. Look forward to going back.
The staff went above & beyond for our anniversary experience.
Kojo is far and above the best Maître d in the city. Do yourself a favor and stop by to meet him.
I enjoyed my birthday dinner hair host was verryyyy special and different I loved everything !!!
We came to jacksonville for a packer game. Stayed at the hyatt...it was our 33rd wedding anniversary so decided to treat ourselves with a nice dinner which we normally don't do...we couldn't have had a better waiter or experience! It was a nice treat. The food was great!
I’ve received higher quality and more attentive service from fast food restaurants. We had to retrieve our own drinks from the bar due to the server going missing for 15-20 minutes. Bread, salad and appetizer plates sat on the table the entire meal. Spoke to a manager and they disappeared without any resolution. Lastly spoke to a second manager (Ashley), she was very apologetic and seemed to truly care. Very poor experience!
This is best experience I ever had a restaurant. The food was amazing. The service was amazing. Whomever was the water person my glass was always full without asking. I will go back again and again
Steaks were ok, a bit under cooked and under seasoned, and not up to the level they should be for this price range. Have eaten at Morton’s in NY and Chicago, this was not at the same level of consistently well prepared food.
Food was delicious although very, very pricey same for the drinks. Great place for a date night though or something special!
We went to Morton's before, to previous site. We were very excited with this new site since it is riverfront, BUT... Morton's is NOT what it was ANYMORE... their previous excellence standards are now PAST. The service is very poorly skilled... the food leaves a lot to your imagination when they "promised" a Wagyu meat (Filet Mignon, Porterhouse, etc.) , and serve a regular ... not so well cooked regular beef... Really shame... the outside area, which should be the best due to the sighting, is worst than in any cafeteria, and served with less care, and the tips are on pity of these young guys trying to do their best with NO TRAINING at ALL for a first line restaurant, nor being supervised by any skilled person, if there is any.... Really NOT RECOMMENDED.. don't expend your money there... The place is totally out of its past greatness.... SHAME
A lil over priced for the quality of food.
2 of our steaks were very overcooked and the 3rd one was very under. Considering they were all the same cut and size, I'm really impressed that this was even possible . Server was rarely around and when she was, she kept pressuring us to pay to sign up for a Landrys reward card. Overall a really bad experience. Next time we will stick with Ruth's Chris or Cowford Chophouse.
1st time visit to Morton's at the Hyatt. Very impressed with the overall experience. Waiter was great and food was terrific.
Absolutely amazing!! Food was incredible and service was top notch!!
My 66th birthday was absolutely perfect thanks to Sam and Brett. From the moment we arrived, we felt special. Brett created the most delicious gin martini and I savored each sip. Sam made great wine suggestions and offered for me to sample before making my decision. My husband thought his old fashion was one of the best ever. The warm bread arrived and we nibbled it along with the prosciutto. For my main course I ordered the lobster Mac and cheese. The portion was large and my husband snitched a few bites. We moved to The Peninsula in July 2020, and can see Morton’s from our balcony. I am thrilled we finally have ventured across the St John’s River to indulge in this amazing restaurant. I have already made a reservation for Christmas Eve!
Servers hated our existence. We had to chase after him to get anything. Food was meh not worth the money. Then had to pay $12 for parking our server didn’t validate our ticket. AWFUL
Excellent! Kathy Lee was wonderful as well!
Would highly recommend. Food and ambiance was excellent.
Was really looking forward to this for our anniversary but it wasn't as good as it should have been. My filet was over cooked and my husbands bone in ribeye was tough...at $61 it should have been perfect. I'm a Landry select club member and gave my card to the server, who didn't know what to do with it...I told her to give to manager...I get points and gift certificates....The manager came over(very nice) and welcomed us and said he would pay for our drinks...2 glasses of wine... back to the food...my potato was huge but not done all the way. my key lime pie was good ! We got the bill and my husband gave the server the card....when it came back my husband signed it and left her a $50 bill. This morning I took the receipt out of my purse....they didn't deduct the 2 drinks. They were $14 each...oh well. Next time we will try Ruth Chris...lol
Amazing dinner. Our waitress was the BEST! Went for my husband’s birthday, was treated amazingly. Our waitress, Kay, was amazing! So attentive and open. Awesome job. Loved her. Best night since precovid!!!!! Love ya. Thank you.
William was the best server ever!!!
Everything was so special! Liz was our server and was spectacular. She was engaging and so knowledgeable. We can’t wait to go back!!
A little dated interior. Seafood tower says $29 on website but not true.
Took the wife for her birthday and the staff made the evening all about her which is just what a woman wants on her birthday. The food was great as always and we both look forward to our next booking.
Enjoyable evening , but service is noticeably lower than usual standards. No business is immune to hardship government is imposing on them. Service was comparable to a bonefish grill and not a typical Morton’s experience.
This was my first visit to the Jacksonville location. It was a great experience. Service excellent and food outstanding.
Very nice dinner with clients. Extremely expensive, but you know that.
Awesome as always!
Everything was good. Expect you need to bring the small heated dinner rolls back. That cold dry terrible onion bead was not what I would except from a fine restaurant like Morton’s.
We were seating quickly on a Sunday night 6pm. The staff was excellent and server Kathy Lee was very attentive and informative. We got the 6oz Filet and the 16oz Ribeye they were both just okay. I personally like a much deeper sear on my steaks. They were cooked exactly as we ordered Medium and Medium Rare. The Gouda/Bacon Au Gratin potatoes were awesome as well as the Lava Cake. The specialty mixed drinks were very good as well.
Overall Morton was good but had 9:00 pm reservation did not get a table till 9:30
too expensive for what you receive. had better steaks at a way cheaper restaurant.
Great steak and impressive they noted the wine we liked from a previous visit.
To start off, I never leave a bad review but when you expect and pay for fine dining and don’t receive it, I’m obligated.
First, there was no one to seat us at the table when we arrived. While we did arrive early, I don’t see why we could not be escorted to our table.
Second, the wine list. We spent a good amount of time picking a wine because that is part of the experience. We didn’t notice the wine brought out to us was actually not the one we ordered. We were polite and after noticing didn’t say anything because it still tasted good. It was a $20 bottle from Publix… but I was charged over $100 for it…
Third,my Caesar salad was so doused in dressing I couldn’t eat it.
Fourth, the steak I ordered was nothing special and in my opinion cooked to medium instead medium rare.
Lastly, we ordered the special sundae to go. Instead of putting the ice cream separate all of it was placed it in the same container so we got vanilla soup. Also, it was just the molten lava cake and not the sundae.
There was only one other group at the restaurant at the same time as us and the fact they couldn’t just get our wine, temperature of our steak, or dessert right was not expected. I can honestly say when there are so many great steakhouses in Jacksonville, I will not be returning to this one.
Both the NY strip an the Cajun ribeye are excellent. Creamed spinach and potatoes augrautin were very good. Good appetizer selection. Soups and dessert were good as well.
Wonderful place to eat! My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here and we had an amazing experience! From the time we stepped into the restaurant we felt invited and appreciated. Our waitress suggested the oysters in Morton style and they were delicious! We both ordered steaks and we had the cheesecake for dessert. The cheesecake was amazing!! Overall 10/10!
Service was excellent, not overbearing, very thorough and professional. Our garlic roasted oysters were tasty however they we not cooked. Our NY Strip was cold as well , cooked nicely but cold
