Great outing with extended family.
The food was so mediocre I'm really lucky for it to have been on someone else's dime! Sad to say that... The ribeye steak was bland and seemed as if it had been pounded down... it was allegedly 9 oz, but seemed to two of us more like 5 oz. Truly disappointing..

Service was excellent. Steak was not cooked properly so GM responded with a very nice gesture to make up for the lack of quality of the steak.

Went with my wife on Valentines Day, the food preparation was not as expected from a fine dining steak house.
The tomatoes and one onions were brought with out onion, and when we ask for sliced (like the tomatoes) they served chopped. This is not the way they should be served, and the tomatoes were not farm they were hothouse with not much taste. The appetizer of Escargot was dry, no butter garlic juice under them, and crusted with a pastry on top that was also dry. The main course consisted of Steak and Lobster and Rack of Lamb. The steak was perfect but the lobster was undercooked and had to go back, the Lamb was also undercooked, ordered medium and came out rare. When they finally came back they were perfect, and the flavor was good.
Personally with many good Steakhouses in Houston we won't go back and cannot recommend to friends. Yes I understand it was he busiest night of the year but not an excuse.

Pricey place but always worth every penny because the portion sizes are large and generous. Best part is there’s always leftovers to take home! Service is always great. Our server was very knowledgeable and passionate about the menu.
Overall not good. My expectations for a Morton’s is high. Despite the great service and decor, ultimately people go for the great food. Got the business mans lunch; caesar salad, ribeye cooked medium rate and chocolate mouse. The steak looked like something from the corner stop and go that had been sitting under heat lamps for hours. The meat was tasteless, undercooked, tough, full of cartilage and gristle. Not sure which of the three is the culprit, but something i eat their made me sick. Multiple trips to the restroom. Morton’s is better then this.
We had reservations at 8:00 but had to wait 15 minutes. Server was great, we like him - we had him last time we visited. My steak was charred on the edges and tasted burnt. My husbands steak was way undercooked and not how he has ordered it. The sides and appetizers were very tasty.
We ordered creme brûlée for dessert and it was awful. We sent it back because the sugar was gooey and the creme brûlée was runny. Our server took the dessert and added more sugar to the top to make it have a crust. That just left us with still runny creme brûlée and a thick hard sugar crust.
We had such a great experience last time we were here. Our experience this time was substandard. This was our first time using our Landry’s Club card, so we will definitely hope for a better experience at other Landry’s restaurants.
Called ahead to celebrate a birthday and when we arrived we were surprised to see menus with our name on them! A special dessert was offered to the birthday party and the service was perfect!
My boyfriend wanted a steakhouse for his birthday and we decided for Morton's as he had never been there before ... what a hit! It was the perfect choice ... steak was delicious but the overall experience was amazing as staff made him a personalized menu and gave a complimentary photo & personalized menu ... it really made his day special ... about the food, steak was cooked to perfection on all selections our table chose, the bread is always good and the wine menu will always have excellent good choices, for all prices. Our waiter was really nice & friendly.
Birthday dinner for my girlfriend. It was nice ambiance, but the food was lacking. Tried the Cajun Ribeye and it was bland in seasoning and cooked like it was on a frying pan. Not going back. Will go to Killeen's all day long

The Vagu (sp) steak was OK, not great for $79.
Sides were ok.
For $500, it was certainly not worth it.
Food was great and we had a terrific waiter. He kind of made the evening stand out. Service was timely and efficient. Will definitely return.

Worst service ever! It took 45 minutes to get a Diet Coke. The waiter was oblivious to our party. A medium rare steak was black and blue.
The manager could care less.

best morton's we've been to yet! steaks were as good as papa's, wonderful charbroil on outside, perfect medium & medium rare on inside. wine flights were perfect! our server was the best too
Our waiter Michael was fabulous. We were celebrating our granddaughters 8th birthday and as he had children that age, he took special care of her, even bringing her an ice cream with a candle on it. This was an awesome experience for everyone at our table of 7. Such a great night.
Usually a winner. We came for Christmas Dinner, as we did last year. Last year was perfection, this year, not so much. Ran out of bar ingredients for one of their signature cocktails and the lobster bisque was terribly wrong and off. Two big negatives that should not happen. Service was slow and the restaurant was not busy. Big lag between drinks and meal. Too long. Otherwise, steaks and salmon were wonderful. Great sides/salads as always. I hope they are better geared up next year but I think we will look to alternatives for Christmas Day.
First of all, the temperature in the restaurant was extremely cold. I ordered a steak with a baked potato. The steak was ok, but the potato was not cooked thoroughly. The potato was lumpy and would not melt the butter and cheese. The potato was taken off my final bill, but the manager failed to come over and talk to me about the issue. I have been to Morton's many times, and this was the worse.
This was Christmas Day and I can’t say enough about the wonderful server. You would think that since I was alone, I would not get the great service that I received
Always a great evening. And if there is ever a problem, it is quickly corrected.
Unfortunately my steak came out cold and the bacon wrapped scallops were sub-par.
Due to Hurricane Harvey and the lack of a kitchen, we have spent both Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner with "Morton." and obviously loved every minute of this so-called inconvenience. So much so that I'm thinking of making it an annual event, with other occasions thrown in, as well. We are almost never disappointed with any Landry's restaurant choices whether in Houston, Florida or Michigan and give Morton's at the Galleria a 5 star rating. The food was beyond delicious, the service impeccable and the event a hit with our out-of-town family guests. Morton, I love you!
