Enjoyed our meal but it was early 530pm rev and the music was way to loud during our business dinner, i know its S FL but it was a bit much. Food was good overall but 3 of us got the Mix Grill and the shrimp came out way overdone (steak was great and well as scallops). Drinks were on point and Service was really good. Overall for the price it is my opinion that all of the food should be spot on.
this place never disappoints. Amazing steaks!!! Drinks are great, wine list is impressive
The baked oysters weren't hot enough - if you've been to NOLA, you know how baked/broiled oysters should be.
Steaks were great, sides were good, drinks were fine. Always consistent good food and service. Quiet atmosphere, very lively bar scene
Always go here before the theatre! We have never been disappointed in the food! Melissa was helpful and tended to our needs! Very pricey; but, worth it for good food!
The customer service was great. The food was delicious. I had the filet mignon with shrimp. The steak was cooked to perfection. I was celebrating my birthday. I received a Birthday menu with complimentary desert.
Great food in one of the best Steak restaurants, really good night!
This was my second time dining at this restaurant. Morton’s steaks are positively the best you’ll ever find! I normally must have A-1 sauce with any steak. But Morton’s steaks are so outstanding that they’re great just the way they’re served. I don’t feel the need to add anything extra. On another note, when I made my reservation I informed Morton’s that we were celebrating my friend’s birthday. So I requested he be served a piece of cake after our meal and they happily complied. But in addition to that, to our surprise, at the top of both our menus it said, “Happy Birthday Brian.” What a nice touch!!
It is always a pleasure to dine here. Thank you.
Delicious food and great service. Steaks are delicious and love their side dishes!
This was a fantastic visit - service, food and ambiance were excellent!
Morton's is once again outstanding! My favorite restaurant both in Fort Lauderdale and in Boca Raton!
Besides being outrageously overpriced compared with other top steak houses, our waiter "conveniently" forgot to give us the menus for the prix fixe ($37) dinner. We ordered the prix fixe; onion soup was sent back (unedible), lobster "bisque" was like dish water, salad was ok, the filet was chewy, and not up to a good steak house. Dessert? How do you run out of chocolate mousse at 7 PM? Creme brulee was poor. Overall, would not return under current management.
Incidentally, parking situation is difficult at best, and horrific for handicapped patrons. You have to move your valet stand neared the entrance.
Service was wonderful. We were celebrating a birthday, and the staff went all out, including taking a picture and presenting it in a card. Food was delicious.
Very satisfied with food and service.
I eat at this Morton's occasionally - but more often in Aventura. The Ft Lauderdale location has a popular bar area with large glass windows. The bar area can be noisy. Make sure your main Dining Room table is NOT too close to the bar area.
We had the labor day promotion for Select members and it was a great value. Everything was cooked perfectly and the wine in the promotion was surprisingly excellent. Our Bartender, she was also excellent. I have a Morton's near me that is so so, but enjoy this one!
Order a medium well filet mignion, the steak was burned out. Look more like very well done. My wife's salmon was delicious though.
The service was so bad, We could not believe we were eating at what is supposed to be a high end restaurant
Our server got lost for 30 minutes at a time, brought us drinks in broken glasses, , did not bring any of the added vegetables with the meal and then got list again.
The only thing worse was the managers attitude who supported his server, despite the above
Well never go back
There are too many other quality restaurants that treat you like real customers
Server was excellent, food good right on time with our reservation
Went for Crave - GFL menu. I had the lobster bisque, 8 oz Filet Mignon with creamed spinach, and the chocolate molten cake 😋🤤 Husband had onion soup, 16 oz double pork chop w/ sour cream mashed potatoes and Creme Brûlée. Husband used to be a chef for the casinos in Atlantic City when it was happening; so he knows his food! The timing of the entrees was perfect. Everything was perfectly seasoned and delicious. We both didn't have to use salt or pepper and that never happens! He usually doesn't like creamed spinach but he tasted it and was impressed; went back for more. It was a perfect bechamel with just right hint of nutmeg. Both cuts of meat were perfectly cooked to order! Wouldn't hesitate eating here again! Only negative was on the "open table app" it wouldn't let me put in that it was our Anniversary! It kept saying try back later!
We met family for dinner and this location and it is the nicest Morton's that I have dined in.
Excellent food great service. The steaks were cooked perfectly
I had never been to Morton's but often eat Flemings Council Oak or Charleys. I am in love with Morton's now as well. Trying to stay away from red meat over my birthday I opted for the salmon and it was the most amazing piece I've ever had. The lava cake was deliciously rich. The carrot cake topped only by a friend's homemade carrot cake.
This place has gone downhill. Slow service, poor food quality, bad servers. My salmon was half cooked. Sent it back and it was still half cooked. We won't go back. 👎
Las Carnea deliciosas, el mesero muy atentos y amable, el servicio un poco demorado pero no importa cuando la cena es buena. La ensalada estuvo pequeña para ser un plato fuerte. El precio es alto
We were with our son and daughter-in-law for the lobster special. Two lobsters and two steaks. Everything came out perfect. Crowded on a Friday night but the service and attention was still fantastic. PGreat dinner and time with family.
Lobster night at Morton's was probably not the best idea for a quiet birthday dinner this past Friday. The restaurant was packed, and the staff did their best to keep up with the onslaught of hungry diners there for the lobster. Our food was rushed and poor at the first effort but the manager came by and the second effort was much better. Middling marks due to many factors across the board for what is normally a very good restaurant
The Lobster was steamed perfectly. The baked potato was nice and split perfectly. Our service by Joe was excellent, however, we did feel that he was being pushed by management to get everything to us very quickly in an effort to move us out of the restaurant. We had a 6 p.m. reservation and they really wanted to turn the tables. We were out the front door by 7:37 p.m. with a $173 plus bill for 2 persons. The assistants were removing items from in front of us before we had completed our plates. It made things seem very hectic and as if the next guest coming in was going to be far more important than we were? It was a little noisy in our section. Would have liked about 15 - 20 more minutes to relax, have dessert and actually enjoy a cup of coffee.
We had awesome service. My husbands ribeye was cooked perfectly. I took advantage of the summer set menu and it was a great deal. Always a good time here. They did not have any clean martini glasses on a busy Saturday night so was served in a champagne glass which was kind of odd but that was the only thing less than perfect. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys a high end steakhouse.
The food was good service exceptional, bit pricey. I would only go for a special occasion.
We sincerely appreciate the manager's attention to our 4 year granddaughter. The restaurant did not have booster seats available and the Manager created an accommodation in finding a bed of table clothes to use as a booster. The meal was very good. Our only criticism would be the mac and lobster was lacking in lobster. However, our grand daughter enjoyed the mac and we brought the left overs home for her to delight in another day.
The wait staff were friendly and attentive throughout the meal.
The food was wonderful. It was a great first experience
Very disappointed that my daughter's birthday wasn't recognized. I specifically said this when I made the reservation, and requested a quiet booth, and at other Morton's, my request was not only accommodated, but the staff took our picture to commemorate our special mother/daughter trip to Florida, and her birthday. I know she was disappointed, but would never say it to me. We have gotten special birthday menus (not at this location), etc. So we took a selfie. West Palm Beach and Boston locations are MUCH better. Very unimpressed and disappointed because Morton's has become our birthday tradition.
We had a lovely dinner; the service, food and restaurant could not of been better. The cheesecake recommendation was spot on!! It is a must have!!
Our dining experience at Mortons was always fabulous. We have dined at the Atlantic City and Hackensack locations and were always pleased. This location was very disappointing. The waiter did not give the woman the menus first. Although this is not a big deal but for an upscale steakhouse they should know better. The drinks were tall in price but short in liquor.
One of our steaks was overlooked. The maitre d' did come over and reordered the filet mignon. He also took the dessert off the bill.
Will think twice before visiting again. Realizing any restaurant can have an off night however at this prices it was disappointing
Good but pricey. We shared a steak with mushrooms and onions, and shared a salad and it was a 300 check. We even brought our own wine; a $35 corckage fee is high!
Again! Great as always! Best steaks! Every time we come to Fort Lauderdale we go to Morton's and enjoy everything!!! 😋🍷
