Book your next event with us
Need to book at 5:45 PM?Other great restaurants with availability.
Honestly was shocked when a “Steakhouse” ran out of 8 oz filets. So we ordered 6 oz instead and they came out way overcooked. Ordered medium rare and it had no pink to it. Morton’s typically is very good, not sure if it’s this location or just a bad night for them.
food was not good steak was tough will never go there again
Main entrees were steak, sea bass, and shrimp. They were very delicious. We celebrated my mother in law's 92nd birthday there and they provided her with ice cream and cake.
We enjoyed a 6 oz. filet with lobster tail. Excellent service, atmosphere and menu.
Wonderful experience all around. The food and service were outstanding. Brian and the rest of the staff really made my boyfriend’s 30th birthday a special occasion to remember. The bar staff however was questionable. We snuck over for a night cap after dinner, ordered a drink and the bartender Sarah immediately forgot about our order? It took about 15 minutes for her to make the drink even after cashing us out with the money on the counter, as we were one and done. Very strange ending but dinner was absolutely outstanding and happily memorable.
Steaks arrived at the wrong temperature as they came overcooked. Sides weren't cooked correctly and tasted raw. Won't be going again anytime soon.
Our waiter was fabulous. Also the Asst. Manager Jany Bermudez was exceptional. When we arrived the Valet had gone to the restroom. When I went inside to alert them that there was no one to valet my carJany came out until he returned to make certain my car was secure.
The atmosphere in the restaurant was great. The food was delicious, especially escargots, ChopSalad, File Mignon and desserts.
Great food. Great staff. Stephanie. Anthony and Cedric are people great job guys. See you soon.
John & Alisha are wonderful and the food is delicious!
Our friends 50th bday
We ate in the bar and had multiple appetizers for dinner since we had a large lunch. Perfect size, good service, fast drinks and sports on tv. A nice relaxing evening...
Steaks (filet) was not that good! Overpriced for the taste and quality. No seasoning on it and not that tender.
Went to see a play with my Aunt celebrating her belated birthday
I accidentally knocked over a full glass of wine.(my first). Our waiter (John)was there immediately to help us mop up then gave us new napkins to use while dining. He even replaced my wine.
He could not have handled it more perfectly.
Above and beyond!!!!
We live close by and love Morton’s!!!!
Our reservation was for 8:45, we were sat on time. We did not get our meals until 10:30 and then the food was cold. Very disappointing
As a long time patron of Mortons I was very disappointed with my meal. The food was delivered cold and under cooked. it took awhile to correct the problem and they were not smart enough to bring new (hot) side dishes when they delivered our recooked meals.
The server was attentive and not her fault the the kitchen was under performing on New Years Eve.
I think that I will consider another premium steakhouse (CG) next time I want an outstanding dining experience.
Came here for NYE dinner. Two of our three entrees were not right. Had to wait 10 minutes to get our server to get it fixed. Someone else’s entrees came back out, still not what we ordered. Not what we expected from a Morton’s. Won’t be back
Our unfortunate New Years Eve dinner began with being greeted by a snippy hostess who sat our party of 6 at a table for 8 with used wine glasses and dirty dishes. So sorry said our server. Next our server offered us the wine list and when we were not quite sure what we wanted, she quickly went through the dinner menu and specials. We decided on a wine but she didn’t take orders for those that wanted soft drink. We waited over 30 minutes to be served bread. So sorry said our server.
We went to Morton’s for New Year’s eve for dinner prior to our main event for the night. Upon arriving we were quickly seated without any wait, which was perfect as we had even arrived a few minutes late for our reservation. The waiter was a bit busy, but the ambiance and food were perfect. We enjoyed all of our menu items including the rib eye, asparagus, potatoes and sautéed spinach and mushroom side. Definitely recommend for a sophisticated night out.
Chicken Christopher is the best dish on the menu!
Outstanding in all respects. The food was exceptional, the service was great, and the desserts were awesome
We went on New Years Eve for an early dinner. The place at 4:45 PM, couldn't get a later rsvp, was empty when we arrived. The waiter, Joe, was excellent. We both ordered the filet + lobster. Caesar salad to start, large enough for two. The filet was 5 stars, but the amount of lobster, though good, was laughable. Would not order again. The ambiance is dark but looked more festive with balloons and flowers. There is no self parking unless you are willing to walk a bit. The valet is tip only. You really don't need to wait for a holiday to have a great steak here.
Outstanding service. Perfectly prepared steaks.
A couple of issues..... staff was great, especially Lexi at the bar, and our waitress until the very end.....she brought us our check without asking if we wanted dessert....felt like we were being rushed out. Baked potato was not hot at all but otherwise the food was great!
The salmon came with rice and the rice was cold.
The stake fillet mignonette was not hot and was not juicy. It was not what we expected. We are having second thoughts about going back.
Three of us went to Morton's for Christmas dinner. One of us ordered Lobster Bisque and Shrimp Scampi, which was reportedly "very good". The other two of us each ordered a 6 oz filet mignon, and split a baked potato and an order of spinach and mushrooms. The filet, which is supposed to be the tenderest of cuts, was quite tough. The baked potato was not fully cooked. Disappointing for a restaurant of this stature. We brought it up to the maitre d, and he apologized profusely, then offered us a complimentary dessert, which was a generous gesture, but not enough to eliminate the bad taste in our mouths. This was only heightened by an experience we had at this restaurant a year earlier when we booked a private dining room for a birthday party. The flowers and decorations requested were a disappointment and the birthday cake was a disaster. Now after two less than favorable, yet very expensive experiences we have crossed this restaurant off our list and will not recommend it.
I believe the quality is going down. Two filets were ordered - one medium rare and the other medium. We received well done and medium. At least the NY strip was perfect and the sea bass was good. Au gratins were okay - just cheese and potatoes. We used to really enjoy Morton's but the last few visits, something on the order is always wrong.
Joanne is wonderful food is excellent
We always enjoy eating at Morton’s but on Christmas Eve we waited almost 2 hours for our food!! The reason given was that the kitchen was backed up!! Not so!!! When we first arrived and ordered, the restaurant was only half full. I think our order got lost and when we complained it was “found” again. Most likely we will eat elsewhere on a holiday.
The waygu and bacon steak was a perfect pair... regards
Food came out over an hour after ordering it . Steak didn’t come out correctly but we didn’t want to send back because it took so long . My soufflé was completely flat and almost inedible . Disappointing to say the least .
Morton’s in Ft Lauderdale made our anniversary a special celebration. We always have a good experience at Mortons
Food was amazing
Great food and excellent service.
Service was excellent. Dinner was perfect, as always.
It took one hour to get our food. My kids were falling asleep. One of our steaks was not the size we asked and it wasn’t heat up the way it should.
We receive free deserts, to compensate for the delay, but that is not the point, we as regular clientes, we expect the dinning experience to be great as other times.
We love Morton’s, but tonite wasn’t great.
Awesome, Joe our waiter and the rest of the staff did a fantastic job. The added value in adding my sister’s name to the menu and immediate recognition of the special event was amazing. All of this done thru the communication via Open Table. Way to go Morton’s and Open Table on exemplary team work.
Everything was great! Good food a bit overpriced but super relaxed atmosphere
An excellent restaurant, delicious crab cakes, and lobster tails. Great service.
