The food was excellent, which we expected. The service was OUTSTANDING! Yes, I used caps and an exclamation point. Our server had a great energy about him. He went out of his way to assure that our experience was as good as he could possibly make it. Even bringing my husband a taste of an appetizer that didn't make the majority rule cut in our family. Can't wait to return.
Excellent food as always. Service was a little off, which is unusual. It looked like the floor was light on serer staff.
Great service. Brian was one of the best servers we’ve ever had there. The young hostess was lovely and warm. And of course the food was terrific. One of the best ribeye’s I’ve had. Thanks for a wonderful birthday evening
Planned a birthday dinner here at Morton’s It didn’t disappoint. Filet Mignon was like butter. Salmon just as delicious. Definitely will be back.
Came here to celebrate a birthday and to try the CraveFL deals. Our server was Gabriel and he was very friendly and helpful. Our meal was delicious and we will be eating leftovers tomorrow.
My husband and I went there for Sunday dinner and were very pleased with the service and food. I think it was the best steak that we have ever had. I would highly recommend Morton”s.
Romantic setting, delicious food, amazing service
Lovely, warm, quiet place with good food and great service.
Food was Great, the waiter was very friendly, ambience was cozy and intimate
In general, we had a good experience at Morton.
I have been twice in the month of September (special Crave month menu, $35 for appetizer, main, and desert). Both times we were treated with respect (even though we ordered from a "discount" menu), given expert advice on the wine (an extensive menu), and had wonderful food and a delightful time. Back in the day (30 years ago?) if women went to a high class restaurant for an early bird special, the waiters treated you like you were below them. I still find it a treat to go to a restaurant like this where the food is excellent and the wait staff is real and not snooty. Outside of the special prices in September, it is a "special occasion" place to me. However, they do have a great Happy Hour (early and late) year round. A very comfortable, classy place!
Wonderful food and service! We will be back and recommend to others.
Thank you for such a Wonderful experience.
Dining with you is always a pleasure. Thank you.
The a/c was broken when we arrived and we were treated nicely by giving us drinks on the house. Service was very good
Morton’s was very good.. but unfortunately the air conditioning broke in the middle of the meal, so we didn’t stay at our leisure
The food was as expected but not exceptional. We had taken advantage of the Crave FTL promotion and had also had a similar meal at Steak 954 and the Capital Grille. I would rate Steak 954 as a 9; Capital Grille as an 8.5 and Morton's the Steakhouse as an 8.
Overall perfect experience. I would come again. So glad they participated in Crave
Love Morton’s. Food was delicious and service very good! Not inexpensive but you walk away being very happy you went to Morton’s. It is a chain but they excel at making you feel welcome and you never feel like you are st a chain.
Excellent service from the beginning to the end. Exceptional food. The wine we ordered was not available, neither was our second choice. The manager came to our table and made a couple suggestions ant told us we would only pay the price of our first selection. That was nice. My only issue was that the plates were set same as used in my local diner. This is the only area I saw where they could up their game.
Service was wonderful. Dined during Crave Ft Lauderdale not a disappointment quality was impeccable with the added value from the Crave specials. Have been to other Morton Steakhouse and this one measured up well
My wife and I along with another couple went to Morton's Steakhouse Sat. night to celebrate my wife's birthday and to take advantage of the Crave menu. When we arrived at the restaurant the hostess was polite and professional even wishing my wife a happy birthday. I thought this would be the start of a great evening and meal with friends. Needless to say my excitement was short lived. The waiter after finding out we were interested in the Crave menu basically lost interest in serving us. Now I get they are trying to make as much money as they can on each table but he seriously lost an opportunity with us when he didn't bring a regular menu, had to be asked on multiple occasions for lemon for our water and for a refill on wine. As far as the food, honestly the sides tasted like cafeteria food that was microwaved . My wife's creamed spinach was grainy and cold. The twice baked potato was like soup and the pork chops were rubbery and tough. the topper of the night was the fact the waiter didn't acknowledge my wife's birthday. This really upset my wife since the table next to us celebrated a birthday and they got the traditional dessert and candle. i am not one to complain about a meal or service but this was definitely not the night i had planned.
5 star rating for the Cajun Ribeye- truly the best steak I have ever had. The rest of our food was also very good but that steak was the highlight of the meal. Service was good and friendly. Nice atmosphere.
People forget how good Morton's is till they go. I'm guilty. Kids where like , why don't we go there more". They want you to be happy. For me. Capital grill for lunch 9 out of 10 but Morton's for dinner.
We came for the September low-price crave menu and to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The staff could not have treated us better if we had spent $1000.00 on our meals!!
Our waiter was wonderful!!!
Food was too salty! Service not great and it wasn’t because the restaurant was really busy. We have been many times before but this time just not great.
My first time at Morton's. Excellent food and experience.
John the best server! Knowledgeable and professional.
Our server Joe was really great. Very professional, funny, and great service.
Dining room was quieter than some others and everything was good
I took my fiance to Mortons for her Birthday. I must say it was a great choice the food was second to none and the service was excellent. If you want a great steak Mortons is the place to go.
The wait staff never came by, waited 40 minutes between a salad and steak , no one asked if we wanted anything or even if our dinner was ok, the pork was raw inside. I was sorry I brought my friends here. She couldn’t eat it.
John & staff are always cheerful, courteous & accommodating! We love this place! Landry's points help, too! We'll be back next month!
Consistently excellent food, service , atmosphere! Took my mom for my birthday and it was an all around A+ experience! Bartender John made her favorite drink, wait staff John was attentive and professional - we will see them again soon
We found Morton's to be a bit overpriced in comparison to other steakhouses that we've visited in town and while traveling. Service was ok but not the best we've experienced.
Everything was great except way too much garlic on everything. I had the chicken I ordered many times and it was almost impossible to eat with the garlic. Scraped it off as much as could but...otherwise everything else was wonderful.
Nice evening. Thanks
First time at this Morton’s and it fell short based on our expectations and experience with the Boston one. Overall the steaks were great and service was above average but not excellent. It was Saturday night so the place was very busy, which we attribute to the service not being what we are use to and expect at Morton’s. One thing is based on the horrible pan seared foiegras I do not recommend it. It certainly had not just been panseared when we were served it! I actually think it was frozen and nuked as it was hard and extremely dry.
Morton’s at Fort Lauderdale did not disappoint at all! I ordered a Porterhouse medium well and a house salad. The steak was awesome and would go back for the porterhouse alone! The signature dishes on the menu looked interesting but I had not no space in my stomach left after the steak. 5 stars on all accounts basis the first experience!!
What are the best steaks of my life and the mac and cheese with bacon and onion was also the best macaroni and cheese of my life. However, the table bread was subpar compared to other steak houses and the waiter took 15 minutes to get back to me as he had too many tables. I wanted to order a dessert and by the time he got to the table I lost my desire. He four other tables.
