All good!!! ✅
Excellent food and excellent service
Just like most Mortons, everything was great, food, service, etc.. Very expensive but worth it. The staff was outstanding..........
Almost perfect veal chop w/ truffle butter and courteous service. Lemon souffle was a small disappointment. Brussel sprouts were undercooked. If you are looking for qood steak and do not need a team to serve you, you can have it elsewhere for much less money. 38 USD for a small glass of dessert wine is too much - there are also much less costly Eiswine options available tasting the same but Morton's lists only one.
Great meal and great service! Courtney our server was fantastic!
Good for business meeting
Scallops and shrimp were a ripoff at 2 scallops and 2 shrimp for $25.
Everything was great, aside from the table of 4-5 individuals next to us. They were very loud and obnoxious; some rather crass subjects were being discussed.
Always good
The whole experience was disappointing. The service was below par; the steaks were brought out incorrectly repeatedly. and it was very slow. The wine ordered was not available.
Food is amazing and the restaurant is beautiful! Luke the Manager is Top Notch! Luke made my guest and I feel welcome. Kudos Luke!
Our waiter, Henry, was outstanding! Henry anticipated all our needs.
Good stuff
Great service and food, as always!
We had a great Valentine's Day dinner with another couple! and made the reservation the same day:) Can't wait to go back!
The red balloons for Valentine’s Day were fun and the staff friendly. Drinks and bread arrived promptly. Food was delicious and the Appreciated the kid-friendly options. We were seated in a wing off to the side and I found it cold but that was my only concern.
It was a terrible experience. Let's start with the food. The crab cake appetizers were cold. We had three separate plates. They literally reheated the crab cakes and attempted to remember who in the dinner party had which plate. It was shocking. I have NEVER experienced a situation where the restaurants error resulted in me having to wonder if I was eating my original crab cake or someone else's. I can't understand why they simply didn't just make a new order. It also took awhile to receive the "reheated" crab cakes.
I brought this to the attention of the manager and he just simply said "well I hope they tasted good". Unbelievable
Next, the menu doesn't indicate if entrees have bacon. So we received two items, lobster mac & cheese and a salad with bacon. We do not eat red meat or pork. When we asked to have new items made without bacon and the manager simply said it's the responsibility of the server to inform you that certain items have bacon. Again shocking because this did not occur.
The final straw was the picture taking and the fact that we were not offered to have a picture taken for Valentines Day as all the surrounding tables were offered. They were given a picture in a Morton's frame. We were ignored.
I am a business world travel and professional and I can't recall such horrific experience at a restaurant. I was embarrassed as I had recommended Mortons. I would never recommend this Morton's and strongly advise senior leadership to evaluate their business practices. It's unfortunate that our Valentine's Day was ruined due to incompetence and poor service.
Best anniversary date night in a long time.
Our waiter, Henry, was outstanding! He anticipated our every need.
Beef medaillon was tiny and without sauce. Way too expensive for what I got.
Service was great and Julissa was excellent with service!
steak was delicious.. lobster tail was excellent but a bit difficult to eat.
felt since there is capitale grill and joes stone crabs nearby, the cost was kind of high..
we went because of a special surf and turf promotion.. francesca the waitress was excellent.
Excellent food!! However the service completely fails to deliver. Came with a party of 10. Had a reservation but was told to wait since the entire party wasn't there at the same time. Once everyone was there we went to the host stand and were told to wait. They had to set up our table, they hadn't even prepared for our reservation when they even knew we were there. After that the service was ok but making our party wait because they didn't bother to get the table ready was unrecoverable in a restaurant of the caliber that Morton's claims to be.
Our food (across the board) was cold and not done as requested. Very disappointed and not likely to return to a Morton restaurant.
I planned a dinner for my husband here. I reserved on Open Table and it was perfect. The table was covered in Happy Birthday confetti when we arrived, and the menu said a Happy Birthday. The food was fantastic, and we contstantly had people coming to the table to ensure service was good.
Restaurant hosting cigar event which had the entire restaurant smelling like cigar smoke. Not the best smell for such a nice restaurant.
We always love coming to this Morton's location. We decided to come and try the "DC Restaurant Week" special menu. I ordered the Filet Mignon 6 oz with an "upgrade" (for $10.00) to 8 oz. After I put the order in the waitress came back and told me that the "upgrade" was not available on the Restaurant Week Menu. I told her to look at the menu card because I read it right off the menu. She left and never came back and corrected herself, but I got what I think was an 8 oz steak and it was delicious. TOo bad the service isn't consistently excellent because the food, cocktails, wine list, etc are!
Everyone at the restaurant was lovely. Friendly, warm, very knowledgeable, and helpful. My husband enjoyed his birthday. We will definitely be returning for dinner without having a special occasion. Henry was our server and he was great.
Everything was great; indoor window seat, food, service until.. they seated 3 men in the closed outside deck(enclosed at the weather was warm) area. They starte smoking cigars and every time someone went out to service the table, my wife and I could smell the smoke. Our server promptly moved us but the mood of the evening was gone. I thought this was illegal.
I made this reservation for a friend and this is what she had to say about her date last night:
I went to Morton’s last night to have dinner for my boyfriends birthday and everything was perfect. Food tasted absolutely amazing! My server Maurice was very knowledgeable and his recommendations for appetizers and steaks could not have been any more perfect. They also had special birthday menus on the table with his name on them which made our experience even more special!
Everyone was super friendly from the host, management staff, and servers and I’ll definitely be coming back!
Great experience.
Morton's is notorious for great, not inexpensive food. This birthday celebration surpassed expectations - everything went ever so well. I will continue - as I'm a Landry club member...
Exceptional as always. We went to dinner with our daughter. The meal and service were great
The restaurant has gone downhill. Lacks the quality it once had.
Traditional & dependable- excellent seafood & steak with extensive wine list. Not cheap but worth the cost
My daughter and I had a very nice evening at Morton's. The food was very good and our server (Mo) did an excellent job. Thank you Morton's.
Henry was my server and his attention detail was superb! He should be a manager!!!
We had a great time enjoying our NYE dinner with friends and family. The service was great, and food was delicious. Morton's is always a pleasure, and we will definitely be back! Thank you!
This Morton's location is simply fantastic. After another chain steakhouse abruptly cancelled our reservation hours before, we turned to Morton's to have a nice dinner before celebrating New Year's Eve. Turns out that the cancellation was a blessing in disguise as Morton's far exceeded what we would have received (food quality, service, etc.) at the other place. We will be sure to add this to our list of regular locations.
