   Great salads. Perfect outdoor weather. Big patio - been nice if cigars and smokers could beat one end. Service outstanding!!

   Visited for a post-graduation dinner with family. The location is excellent, conveniently close to GW, and the initial welcome from the host/manager was warm and professional. The restaurant was busy but not packed, which made the slow and inattentive service even more disappointing. Appetizers were decent but unremarkable. The main courses took an unusually long time to arrive and were inconsistent in temperature and doneness … some parts overcooked, others underdone. Side dishes came out cold. One steak, ordered medium, arrived nearly raw and had to be sent back. It took another 15–20 minutes to get a replacement, and only after flagging down our server, who had seemingly forgotten our table. The manager did offer an apology, but it didn’t do much to salvage the experience. Overall, for a bill exceeding $100 per person, the quality and service fell well short of expectations. With so many excellent dining options in DC, I’d recommend exploring elsewhere.

   The experience overall had its ups and downs. Down’s - I asked for med rare steak and I got medium well. The steak itself had no flavor. My coworkers steak was overcooked as well. The drinks were late in coming out as well. Not what you are expecting for the prices at the restaurant. The rest of the meal was satisfactory.

   ining at Morton was truly an exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable — attentive without being intrusive, and every team member made us feel like valued guests. The atmosphere struck the perfect balance of sophistication and warmth, ideal for both special occasions and refined evenings out. Low lighting, tasteful decor, and soft background music set the stage for what turned out to be a memorable meal. The star, of course, was the steak. Cooked to absolute perfection, each cut was tender, juicy, and packed with rich, savory flavor. The sides and starters complemented the meal beautifully, especially the king crab truffle, mashed potatoes, standout. Overall, Morton delivered on every level — superb cuisine, outstanding service, and a luxurious yet comfortable environment. A must-visit for steak lovers seeking a top-tier dining experience.

   The food was great! However, the service was terrible! While our server was doing the best she could under the circumstances, she had literally no support. We were a table of 6 people and dinner took 3 hours and 15 minutes. Drinks, food, and dish pick-up were all very slow! We complained to the management and that didn't help! The manager stated that they had a large party and it took all the busboy staff and slowed everyone down. As an avid foody, when these situations arise, it's customary to offer a round of drinks, dessert, or some of type of compensation. We received nothing! I expect more from a restaurant of that caliber!

   The service was great, but the food just wasn't good. The steaks were kind of overcooked, and tough. The sides weren't anything special.
