After we were seated, it was a full 15 minutes before we were waited on. Kind of went downhill from there.
Wonderful First time experience. Delicious. Kennedy was an amazing hostess/server.

Went for a date night and received subpar service. We waited over 45 min for our dinner while we watched a table come in after us and receive dinner + a bottle of wine in under 20 min. They gave us our meal for free but it just was underwhelming.
Our server, Henry, gave my guests superb service and attention.
A fantastic meal and great service! Everything was cooked to perfection and the cocktails were terrific. No complaints what-so-ever!! Looking forward to a return and soon.
It was a truly remarkable birthday experience. Our waitress was superb. She knew the menu well. Her recommendations were very helpful. Can’t wait for my next dining experience with Morton’s.

The food was absolutely delicious! Everyone from the Hostess, to our beautiful waitress, to the Dining Floor Manager, delivered exceptional customer service! It was my 1st time dining here mainly because I was given a gift card for my 50th Birthday back in July and I finally decided to use it today so that I could have a great Sunday Dinner!

Worked with Maria, she is AWESOME! Always has amazing suggestions and makes amazing recommendations. I highly recommend working with her! Lloyd the General Manager is very genuine and professional. Everyone here makes us feel very welcome and it makes the experience that much more enjoyable.
The Steak and chicken Christopher was good. Ordered spinach it was nasty. Ordered broccoli it was nasty. Ordered mash potatoes it was ok. Dont plan to returning no time soon. When I do will try a different location.

Unusually busy, probably due to restaurant week. Quality is very good as usual.
The hostess seated the people in front of us at the last available booth in the main area, even though they stated that they had no reservation. We ended up getting seated at a table tucked away in the back area because the main area was now full, which was not ideal. It’s disappointing that I had to make a reservation to get a worse table than someone else that just walked in. We also did not receive any complimentary bread, unless this is no longer provided. The bright spots were our waitress and the food. The food was absolutely delicious, and our service at the table from our waitress was outstanding!
I never have a bad time or a bad bite at Morton’s. Staff provides fantastic service and you can’t beat a dinner on the patio with a cigar in hand. Looking forward to my next visit!
Had the New York strip, it was cook as ordered and had pretty good taste. Service was better than most. Would go back.
This was a disappointing experience with my family. I truly believe the strong odor of cigar smoke really ruined the entire experience and caused my wife and kids to have headaches and lose their interest
We came here for New Year’s Eve, to avoid going out partying but still being together. We loved the festive balloons and props to celebrate the new year, it was a nice touch to be able to still celebrate while having a nice dinner.
Truly magical for a special occasion. Seafood was absolutely incredible - some of the best we’ve ever had.

Overall one of the worse steakhouse experiences I have ever had. Poor service, cold food, steak not cook correctly, and charged for items we never received. Will never return to thos Morton's to be ripped off for what we spent this evening
My friend and I had a reservation Christmas night for dinner and waited for the receptionist to come to the podium to be seated. Once, she did arrived she informed us there would be a wait. She never greeted me or looked at me in the face even when she walked us to our table. The waitress who came to our table never asked us how we were doing or told us about any specials, she asked us if we wanted water and left. The final straw was when our water was poured and bread was delivered by a different server who literally flipped the bread and butter on the table. He never greeted us, said his name, or anything, so we politely left the establishment. For the amount of money we were prepared to spend, the service was subpar and completely disappointing.
Christmas dinner was very good including steaks of course, bread pudding dessert, and especially the Sea Bass. But we were disappointed with the lack of attentiveness that would be expected of an upscale restaurant on a special holiday. It was busy, but only moderately so, and there appeared to be adequate staff working. We were a party of 4 non-drinkers, so perhaps we would have received more attention if we had ordered some bottles of wine to run up our bill substantially.
I dined here for Christmas dinner with my mom and the service from the staff was wonderful. Appetizers and side dishes were very good. However, our main course of steak and lobster tail was just not up to the standards that we expect from Morton’s. The lobster tail was tough and the filet (medium) was not as tender and juicy, as is usually the case.
Morton’s is pretty consistent with the food being delicious every time, making it worth the money. This recent trip unfortunately missed the mark.

Food was good and for a Morton's, price was pretty good. Service was good. One mild complaint: The place was dead for a Friday night, but to be fair, it was the Friday before Christmas and a lot of people likely had left town. The Morton's on Connecticut Avenue is not at ground level. I did not realize that when I made the reservation and had trouble finding it when I got there but everything worked out. Would definitely good back. Good steakhouse, although there are some better ones in DC.
Lukewarm good and lukewarm attitude. It is not hard for a business to predict a holiday rush and scale up accordingly. Morton’s failed in this dramatically. It was entertaining watching the “bro balcony” where overaged boys were chugging Bloody Mary’s and smoking cigars. Not sure why that’s in plain view for the whole dining area.

Service was terrible. They were busy with office holiday lunches and clearly understaffed. They should know it will be a busy week. Other tables told us they had similar problems. Disappointing
The whole team was great. From the greeting to the goodbye. Robin was very mindful of our table an the accommodated us very well. And the food was delicious as always!
Food and service were excellent...as always!! Will definitely be back!
