Walt was amazing to work with! Very professional and courteous. Food was amazing as usual. This place really rocks!!!
My eleven years old son said this is the best steakhouse he had eaten in, the center cut filet mignon and Cajun ribeye were exceptional!
Very good service and food preparation! The hostess and waitress made the meal a pleasure.
The Lobster Bisque, the Filet - both were outstanding!
The service was slow and even with a party of 10 they managed to forget one salad and deliver the wrong steaks despite being asked if they had the doneness correct, they seemed upset we asked but still managed to deliver the wrong steak to the wrong guest.
Had a great experience. Worked with Ken who was exceptional. Everything he suggested was on point, and I look forward to working with him again. Both Luke and Lloyd the Managers on duty are very polished. They stopped by to say hello and to ensure all was well. Best Morton's ever, and I have been to many.
As usual, Morton's never fails us! We have been coming here for the past 12 years to celebrate Father's Day and birthdays. We enjoy the staff, the location, the specials and most importantly the food!
Father’s day celebration
First time at this Morton's location. While the restaurant is a little hard to fins it was definitely worth hunting down. No wait to be seated with reservation, exceptional service from hosting staff and waiter. The food was fresh and DELICIOUS steak. Ordered my Cajun Ribeye at Medium plus and had no issues. The flavor was amazing! We also split the lobster Mac and cheese which was great. I would probably go with the key lime over the bread pudding next time but that was my only little issue. Drinks were good. Fresh fruit and light flavor for the summer sangria. Will hopefully be back soon!
Lovely restaurant, nice waiter and the best steak I’ve had. Negative point: we were the only gurers after 9pm and the waiters started to clean the restaurant while we were still having our dinner
Luke was great! Food was amazing as usual! Thank you! I worked with Julissa, and she is awesome...highly recommend working with her.
The service was great!
Food and ambiance was great. However two drinks were literally spilled on us by the Same waitress. And when the first drink was spilled, no manager noticed or cared. When the second drink was spilled, a manager finally acknowledged that, offered a shawl to cover it up and dry clean the shirt but that was it. No big apology, no money off the bill, no please come back. Pretty disappointing.
Kelly was a fabulous server, she really made our evening. The only negative comments is the smell of cigar smoke became a little strong inside even thought the only place you can smoke cigars is on the outdoor patio. Have been to this location many times and have never experienced this before.
Morton's seem to exceed my expectations every time, the food and service was absolutely, amazing! I would highly recommend this restaurant to all of my friends who are looking for great dining experience in our nation's capital.
food expensive but not bad the service is bad. long wait
Had to send back a fairly unimpressive steak for being undercooked; the chef later sent one back medium well along with some lukewarm fries. It was hard to flag down a waiter at times and the wait in between drink orders was disappointingly long for the price point. On a brighter note, their oysters are really quite excellent. I rarely leave reviews of any kind, but you should know in advance that you’re coming here for the people rather than the food.
Wish the outdoor seating didn’t smell so strongly from the cigar area.
We always celebrate birthdays at Morton’s because hey make it a special occasion. The lovely hostess Thea takes our picture and we have a memento of the event to remember for years to come.
This was a nice dinning experience. Thank you.
Great experience on the whole, the food was excellent and the people very friendly.
We had a great time as usual at any Morton’s that we go to. Service was a little slow but it was okay. Food was excellent as always.
We truly enjoyed our evening at this location. We sat on the outdoor patio, the service was excellent, the meal was outstanding and the ambiance was fabulous. We’d come back again, if our schedule in town allowed!
Fantastic food and drinks!
Meh. Service was slow and my steak was very over salted and very undercooked. I didn’t send anything back because it was with a group of friends but this was a disappointing meal for how much we paid. I come to Morton’s regularly and expect better
Morton's downtown (DC) is supposed to cater to the business lunch crowd. Wednesday it failed miserably. The waiter acknowledged it was a very bad day. And it was. We waited for everything -- (although we were seated promptly). We did not get our entrees until 55 minutes after we were seated, which means we were required to rush through our food even to get back to the office (upstairs) within 90 minutes. My entrée was not what I had ordered. I had ordered the salmon salad. I received broiled salad on a bed of chick peas (not my choice) with an overly sweet glaze. The waiter and matre d apologized and comped my meal. That was generous. But this was a birthday lunch planned for an important colleague. And what should have been a pleasant experience was not. A lot of waiting and then rushing to eat so we could get back to the office in time. Very disappointing.
I worked with Julissa and she was great! As always, the food was top notch! Luke is genuine and always professional- great Manager!
This is the worst meal and experience I have had at a high scale chain steakhouse. The server was rude and disinterested. We had a reservation and the place was empty and they still made us wait 10 minutes to be seated. I would rather have eaten at McDonalds than go back to this Morton's steakhouse. It was so bad I may never step foot in ANY Morton’s ever again. Even the salads were bad. If you want to drop a ton of money on a good steak meal go anywhere but here.
Disappointing!! Very expensive for bad food! The scallops wrapped in bacon were tasteless. The salmon had too many beans and corn. The fries tasted of old oil. The filet mignon was fair.
Always reliably excellent food and service.
All good!!! ✅
Excellent food and excellent service
Just like most Mortons, everything was great, food, service, etc.. Very expensive but worth it. The staff was outstanding..........
Almost perfect veal chop w/ truffle butter and courteous service. Lemon souffle was a small disappointment. Brussel sprouts were undercooked. If you are looking for qood steak and do not need a team to serve you, you can have it elsewhere for much less money. 38 USD for a small glass of dessert wine is too much - there are also much less costly Eiswine options available tasting the same but Morton's lists only one.
Great meal and great service! Courtney our server was fantastic!
Good for business meeting
Scallops and shrimp were a ripoff at 2 scallops and 2 shrimp for $25.
Everything was great, aside from the table of 4-5 individuals next to us. They were very loud and obnoxious; some rather crass subjects were being discussed.
