Great experience to celebrate my birthday at Morton's! It started with a surprise picture that was afterwards framed in cardboard and delivered at the table. Service by Stephen was amazing, food/desserts incredible, received a delicious complementary lemon souffle, $12 special occasion discount; in addition to my $25 Landry's birthday bonus and $50 Landry available rewards to round it up. Quite recommendable!
Excellent.....I would recommend it to anyone who loves a great meal
The experience was great as always!! The Cajun ribeye was great but it is so upsetting when the menu changes and the best items are removed!!! First the onion jam, now the creamer corn, I am not happy about this at all.
Morton's is not what it used to be in the past. Too bad actually.
We got a round table and there was too much noise to have a conversation. Food was great .
Morty Mort! So good 💯👍🏼
Very good food and service the deserts were awesome.
Every year during the dental meeting we go to Morton´s , every time is the same excellent food, and service. I try to go to Morton´s elsewhere when possible.
We’ve been to Morton’s throughout the country and thought this was the most flavorless meal of them all. The steak and asparagus came out cold but I didn’t say anything because our waiter seemed as if he just wanted to move along to a table drinking alcohol. My mom sent her steak back for a brief moment to cook a bit more and it came out fine but was still cold. It wasn’t worth it for us to speak up, although normally we would if a situation arose. We were hungry from flying in that day and just expected the normal Morton’s food. I don’t think we’ll have a problem returning however it won’t be for a while.
Service and food was outstanding as usual!
Our food was amazing. Even though the prices were semi-affordable, the quality of food is outstanding.
Great dinner and service excellent. Great ambience
Good food nice atmosphere
Amazing time, excellent service
Food was great Service was a bit slow I will see that on the first floor near the door and it was very cold No other Options for seating was available
Great food and experience
Our favorite place for shrimp cocktail, and have tried many. Great steaks for a fair price. Best spinach and mushroom side dish I have ever had.
I understand that it’s not the restaurants fault but there were so many loud children running around and the kids next to us had their spoons clinking their glasses for at least 13 minutes straight.
The service was excellent and they have a wonderful wine list!!!
The food was delicious I had a nice juicy flavorful steak. The service was great and they even took a photo of my husband and I and printed it out and gave it to us for Valentine’s Day. I would definitely love to go back.
Nice and quiet, even though it was about 3/4 full. Took my 9 year old daughter for her first big steak dinner. She ordered a salad and was going to share a large filet with my wife. Should’ve ordered her own! She crushed it. She was also a huge fan of the lava cake dessert.
We attended restaurant week. It appears that the quality of the steaks they served were not good. The filet minon was dry and unflavorful. The food was just mediocre compared to other steakhouses.
Went during restaurant week to try Mortons. Menu print was so small along with poor lighting I missed the extra charge for the lava cake. Started with the Morton salad which lacked dressing (asked for more), the rib eye steak was so fatty I gave up on it. Mashed potatoes were cold..host did come by to see how my lunch was and did replace potatoes with much hotter ones. Don't order the dessert if you're in a hurry..takes 15 mins. Would have been nice to know earlier. Server never asked how my lunch was.
Enjoyed several great meals during restaurant week. Food at Morton's was excellent. Service was okay. Maybe the waitress just had an off day. Missed request for additional bread until almost done with meal and never did receive a requested drink refill. First time eating at Wacker Place location.
I would recommend Morton's to a friend, as long as they don't have the server that I had on today.
We had an amazing time. The food was cooked perfectly.
Morton's maintains the superior food quality and service that has kept people coming back for special occasions for years and years. They were participating in Chicago Restaurant Week when we visited, so we got to enjoy all of this for a very reasonable price, and they still added special touches for the birthday we were there to celebrate. Treat yourself; you won't regret it.
We dined during Restaurant Week and enjoyed the menu selections of filet mignon, salmon, and shrimp capellini. We split sides of mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. We had French onion soup, Caesar salad, and wedge salad. Everything was delicious! We all chose the key lime pie for dessert and it was delicious too. Our server was so attentive and kind.
Our visit yesterday was full of surprises. The service was standard and one of which we are not custom to when we visit Morton’s. We ordered the lobster bisque... it had been watered down with little flavor. We were not offered any crushed pepper for our bisque which could have possibly provided a small hint of flavor . While our steak and salmon was good, the portion size was disappointing . I specifically asked the waiter how many ounces it was and he said 8 ounces ..while I knew that was probably not correct I had no idea that the proportion will be so small. The Keylime pie that we were looking forward to savoring , was bland, the cream topping was not sweet , the crust mushy. It was substandard and disappointing . We use to order Morton’s Key Lomé pie to go.... Edwards frozen Pie is better than Morton’s. We will not be returning anytime soon . We also got a surprise on the bill. We were not told the bisque carried an up-charge. Over all this was a VERY DISAPPOINTING experience.
Restaurant Week deals gave us a great opportunity to try out a new restaurant which I will definitely go to again. Food was great and service was awesome, even though our server was really busy.
Everything was perfect as I expected it to be and never disappointed!
The food was fantastic but the service could’ve been better. A table that was seated next to us maybe 20 minutes later got their entree before us because one of the waiters was married to the woman and put their order in ahead of time. I think it’s a little unfair and on top of the our waiter was very late on bringing out all menus. I had to approach the manager about this but thankfully the food made up for the experience.
We chose Mortons for Restaurant week. All of us enjoyed every bit of our meal.
Everything was perfect from the salad to the dessert. The service was impeccable!!
Morton's is the quintessential steakhouse in the chicgoland area. Steaks are superb, service is impeccable and especially for restaurant week, an incredible all around value. Highly recommend.
Perfectly cooked steak and excellent service. My water glass never dropped below half. Thanks for the experience.
I have mixed feelings about our visit during Restaurant Week. Our server (Matt?) was fantastic. Our filets were flavorless and overdone, but the horseradish mashed potatoes and key line pie were amazing! I don't think I'll go back because steak should be the star of the show.
We went to Morton's Steakhouse during Restaurant Week, so they were very busy. In spite of the number of people, the service was excellent. I had the rib eye with mashed potatoes. My steak was perfectly seasoned and cooked to order just right. Salad dressings, bread, even the giant chocolate cake slice to finish the meal was excellent. yes, I certainly hope to return!!
I liked it so much last year for Restaurant Week that I went back again for Restaurant Week this year. The lobster bisque was the best I ever had-- even had a generous piece of lobster in it. The rib eye steak and garlic mashed potatoes were perfect. And the key lime pie was as delicious as found in Florida. The service this year was even better than last year.
Honestly - food is WAY overpriced! I’ve heard great things about Morton’s and my husband and I were very excited to try it but was unfortunately disappointed. The service is great but the food was NOT worth $75-$100/plate. Steak was just average. Disappointing lobster bisque. Nothing impressive in my opinion! I ate at Ditkas restaurant the night before and it blew Morton’s out of the water. Now that’s the best meal I’ve ever had!
