Sat at the bar during restaurant week, Cody was great even though we were there after close, class act, will be returning in the future
Restaurant week service did not resemble normal service at Mortons. Drink presentation, attention to detail and attention.
Very good dinner! Everyone’s steaks were cooked perfect!
Everything was absolutely exceptional! We had a wonderful evening and the service, ambiance, level of consideration were top notch and of course, the meal was just simply perfect!
The best filet mignon that I've had in a long time.
Never got waitress name. Rushed our order so we did a appetizer takeout. And was charged that fee. Did t seem like that busy of a night to be rushed to order.
For our first time dining at Morton's in Charlotte, we chose restaurant week to try them out. The special menu had great options and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. We did check out the regular menu as well and we decided to come back, as we were treated with excellent service by all associates from the front desk to the wine steward to our server.
Everything from valet parking to dessert was so smoothly implemented . The food was amazing and ambience was very relaxing.
Excellent place for dinner, easy conversations across the table. Food is always great and the service is remarkable.
Service was great as always. Steak wasn’t quite as good as it normally is. The filet was very grainy and tough.
Service and food were excellent. Beautiful restaurant
Manager was very nice and welcoming.
Wonderful as always. Will continue to dine there for years to come.
Checked Morton’s out for resturaunt week. The service was outstanding the waitress was very attentive and friendly. The food was overall just good. Nothing spectacular. My brothers steak came out over cooked and his potatoes were cold. They fixed it and the second try was much better. Really enjoyed the key lime pie for dessert.
The entire experience from start to finish was incredible. The wait staff was excellent from recommending main dishes , cocktails and wines. My wife and I and my family couldn’t had a better experience.
Excellent from start to finish. Our server, Bil, was amazing. Will be back on Feb 15th.
Great meal with excellent service.
Our server was a tall skinny gentlemen in charlotte. He was awesome. I forgot his name. Great service
Very relaxing! Good and drinks were excellent
Top notch restaurant. Steak was awesome.
This was our third visit to this restaurant. If it were the first one, we would have never gone back. The food was over salted, it was delayed, the fancy scampi was overcooked and borderline edible.
The espresso was served cold and after our complaint it was replaced with a regular coffee cup half filled with filtered coffee.
Though the manager took half of the check off, the evening was a disappointment.
The place is great. Private and peaceful. Good food and good service.
The experience was outstanding, Chris Connolly provided superior service, knowledgeable with his recommendations. He makes you feel like you are having dinner at a friends house.
Excellent good and service - pricey but worth it! The Gouda and bacon potatoes au gratin are a must!
We went to Morton’s for our 20 year engagement anniversary. They treated us like royalty. Thank you Kevin and Kennedy for such a special evening!!
New YearsEve dinner for two. Great food , drinks and dessert.
They have great steaks, drinks and staff. The sides not great. Suggest they arrive warm/ hot n not cool. Two busts recently n both times sides cool n not much flavor. Waiter took it off bill but not Mgr or offer of a desert. Oh well, still go back n still a fan.
I was alone On Christmas as I am new to the area so I made a reservation for 830. When I got there they had lost my reservation but there was rooM at the bar so I didn’t complain. The bar was dirty where I sat (plates and glasses) took over 10 min and I have anyone speak to me. The entire evening I felt like an inconvenience to the bar staff. While my food was good it did take a very long time. The rude service ruined it for me. The amount of money I spent ($200 for one person) I feel would’ve been better spent at an establishment that wants my business. Good meal not worth the bad experience.
We had our family Christmas dinner at Morton’s. They were understaffed and the kitchen was slow and must have had an inexperienced team in the kitchen. I love Morton’s but this was clearly an off night for the kitchen staff. The manager provided an acceptable discount, but only after we requested to see the manager. We left hungry as much of our meal was not edible and after repeated try’s the kitchen just could t get it right. We are.normally easy to please, but at the Morton’s price, it was pretty hard to swallow this experience - especially when it was our family Christmas dinner. We will try again but probably not on a holiday.
Food, service and ambiance all splendid!
What happened to Mortons? Could be because it was Christmas! We both ordered a filet mignon with lobster special for $59 each. We ordered it medium rare and it was served well done, cold and the lobster was cold and dry. I've never sent back anything in all my years but this time I had to. With that being said they took everything back, was very apologetic and brought us new dishes and side dishes we ordered.
My expectations at Mortons are high in for food quality and service. the service is not what it used to be. It's just not worth the price at all! I've had better service and food at Bonefish Grill for a fraction of the price!
Service was extremely slow. Servers were overextended.
We just sat there for a long period of time with no water no anything. This was supposed to be a celebration for the holiday. They weren’t prepared for the guest. Food was average but very expensive. Will make another selection next time. Not worth the money.
Food was outstanding! Unfortunately we were seated in the wrong table and the waiter asked us to move the table so we would not be in the way? I'm sorry, but this is not acceptable at Morton's.
Steaks were warm at best
Other food was excellent
Service was a bit slow but atmosphere good
We have always loved Morton's and was very disappointed on Christmas Eve. The Truffle fries came out barely warm instead of hot. My husband and I had split a NY Strip that came out barely warm. The one thing that really got to us was the Matride' insisted he was watching and knew that our meal came out immediately. We knew that was impossible. Not only did he tell us once but twice. We ordered Mushrooms and Spinach that came out hot. Our daughter ordered a Filet and she didn't have complaints but I knew her steak couldn't be hot either as the way she described it. We bought a bottle of 125 dollar wine that I know the cost of it at store and I get them charging double the price but we enjoyed it. We have come to Morton's for years but to be made to feel like it was our fault that our steaks were barely warm made use really upset. Then they brought our steaks back out still not hot on the outside and didn't bring the truffle fries out until we were through eating. Our server was nice but not on top of things either. We are going to Flemings for NY's Eve. We love Morton's but we deserved better than this for what we paid.
Sadly this was not a great experience at Morton’s. Made even sadder because we hold this restaurant in such high esteem. We dined the weekend before Christmas to celebrate my brother’s birthday. The biggest problems of the night came with our steaks. My mother ordered a prime rib. When it came is tasted very strange, almost like cheese. My husband and I shared a porterhouse which was way under seasoned and tasted freezer-burned. It was also an odd shape, almost round, and so it was not easy to identify which side was strip and which filet. My brother ordered a NY strip which was perfect. My mother sent back her steak and asked they bring a NY strip instead. We also sent back the porterhouse but told the restaurant just to keep with the porterhouse. Probably a mistake as the second one was over seasoned. Next time we will stay with the Ny strip as well. The maitre d came over and apologized and told us that the prime rib was off and did taste strange. We had to wait of course while the steaks were remade. We weren’t upset by this but it did disrupt the flow of the meal. We also have always had our picture taken by the restaurant in the past on special occasions and presented to the birthday person as a gift at the end. Perhaps they have done away with this tradition because that didn’t happen during our meal. When the bill came I didn’t expect the restaurant to charge for the more expensive steak (the NY strip was more expensive than the prime rib) particularly given that we had to send two steaks back but yup they sure had. Then it was a very long process getting the bill sorted for some reason. Another low point was when the maitre d was explaining the rewards system and asked my brother (who’s birthday it was and the restaurant did know this) when his birthday month is........ We will be back to Morton’s because we have many great memories prior to this mediocre night but what a disappointment.
My food was cold when I got it. The service was slow, it took over an hour to get my food. We didn't enjoy the Dinner experience.
Thank you for a delicious dinner - a wonderful way to celebrate my husbands birthday! We enjoyed the food and service!
The team at Morton’s is amazing Bill, Chris and Kevin make you feel like you are at dinner with friends!
I went to Morton's with my husband and some friends after the Panther's football game. We had a great meal. My steak and my husband's steaks were cooked too much, which our awesome waitress, Sam, noticed right away. She took them back to have them prepare different steaks which were cooked to perfection. The manager, Keith, brought our steaks to us and made sure we were satisfied. Keith gave us an extra dessert! Both Sam and Keith were professional, and friendly. They really made sure we felt welcomed and happy. We will definitely go back!
Great meal! Service was good.
