Sauteed Brussels Sprouts
It is very disheartening to have a restaurant of this caliber to serve a $7.00 bottle of wine retail, advertise it as a special / upgrade paring with the meal and charge 49.OO for the bottle. To make matters worse.. the restaurant was out Louis Martini (advertised) and substituted Pebble Bay.
May I suggest you offer your dining guest a very good glass of wine at a special price to pare with the meal as a promotion.
It truly diminished our dining experience.
We celebrated my daughter’s birthday. This was a first time we’ve ever been to Morton’s restaurant. Great service, good food! I recommend this restaurant!
Food was very good and service was excellent- it is very costly but if it is a special occasion like it was for us it didn't feel as bad.
We always enjoy Morton's, the people and food are always fabulous
I freaking love Kevin!!!!
This was really disappointing. The crab cakes came out cold and when we sent it back we weren’t made a new one. They clearly microwaved it. The Brussels sprouts were so salty you couldn’t eat them. Disgusting. Lobster baked Mac and cheese tasted bland and wasn’t baked at all. It was like eating boxed Mac n Cheese
The bone in rib eye was not up to par for a steakhouse. I’ve had a much better rib eye at Long Horn. Steak tasted as if it was frozen. Defrosted. Refrozen. Defrosted and cooked. The meat was too tough for it to be medium and it wasn’t flavorful at all. Even with the truffle butter.
Amazing experience with exceptional food and service
My husband, friends and I go to Morton’s every year for my bday. In the past we’ve had amazing food and service-not this time. Our sever was great but the food was not-I didn’t even take pictures. I ordered the lobster tail I don’t remember how many ounces it was but it was super small compared to similar restaurants in the area, to go with it I ordered the lobster ravioli. The lobster tail-it came out ok. The ravioli in lobster sauce also had the craziest looking mushrooms-this was not in the list of ingredients on the menu-I’m allergic. It would have been nice to know before I ordered. My desert was crème brûlée-it was extremely dry and the Suger on top was burnt. My husbands friend has a steak with au gratin potatoes-they came out freezing cold-they definitely were not fresh, from the fridge to the table literally. He sent it back but and when they gave him the hot potatoes-the steak was cold. The steak my husband had was cooked great, the salmon our friends wife had appeared to be ok also. Everything else was a disappointment when compared to the standard Mortons holds itself at. I didn’t take pictures because nothing was really picture perfect.
We had an outstanding experience for dinner, as always! Best food & service of the weekend.
Food & service were both OUTANDING. We would definitely go back again
It was a wonderful experience! Even got a private room for my birthday dinner and I didn’t book the private room. It was great❤️
It was my friend birthday and the food was amazing and also our waitress
Great place to celebrate our friend’s belated birthday. Ordered bottles of wine and almost every app. It was perfect. Service was impeccable as well! So glad to be back to these kind of dining experiences.
I enjoyed My entire experience at Morton’s! My server Bill was exceptional and everyone was? The man that was a photographer was excellent we had great laughs. The food was outstanding! I will be back! Thank you all
Had a wonderful evening celebrating two milestone birthdays. Our server Bill was amazing and would highly recommend asking for him if you choose to dine at Morton's. The food and service were impeccable. That's why we chose to dine there vs. anywhere else. We knew the experience would match the occasion.
I went to Mortons hoping to enjoy my birthday, as I’ve been plenty times without an issue. All sides delivered to our table was cold, not even room temperature. Two entrees that were delivered was also cold. The lobster Mac was very very very salty…. and cold. A medium rare steak was delivered to the table medium well. Needless to say, the experience was not what I expected and I was distraught none of my guests enjoyed their meals.
The lobster bisque was just lukewarm but tasted good. The steaks came out lukewarm too. The service was excellent.
Exceeded all expectations! Food, Service , ambiance !
The restaurant is beautiful, and the waiter Tom was an excellent server. My filet was outstanding. I would definitely dine there again
We ordered three different bottles of wine and each was out of stock. The fourth bottle was provided on the house. While disappointed that we had to go with the fourth choice, we were impressed how they handled a bad situation. Bacon wrapped scallops and grilled oyster apps were very good as was the Lobster Bisque soup and Wedge Salad. Corn soufflé side was good but Au Gratin potatoes were under cooked. Consensus on steaks was they were good but not great. Bread pudding and Chocolate cake did not disappoint. All in all, we had a good meal with very good service but for the prices they charge we had higher expectations.
We were seated at a nice booth. I ordered the Shrimp Alexander and they had to cook it a second time because they burnt them the first time they must have been really bad because the second time they were all burnt also. The lobster tails were good but the French fries were as cold as if they had just taken them out of the refrigerator. To say the least, I asked for another batch. They were also out of several items on the menu when I asked for them. Certainly not worth the money spent. The waitress was very good though.
A perfect Christmas dinner! The service continues to be second to none and the food was delicious! Well done and thanks for making our family holiday special!
I have been to Morton’s all across the US. Been to the Chicago and Cincinnati locations several times. On an anniversary I was served the best steak I’ve ever had at the Cincinnati location. Unfortunately the Charlotte location was extremely disappointing. First, upon arrival we were 20 minutes early and we were told we could get our table at the scheduled time. No offer to sit at bar and wait. Told us to come back at correct time. We did and were set. We sat there for over 10 minutes without any acknowledgement. I had to get up and ask if we could at least get a glass of water. I get being short staff and being busy but if you can’t serve your customers who are about to drop $400 on a meal for 3 then just don’t. Minimize the seating and do a good job. Finally after about 1 hour and 20 minutes we got food. Steak was cooked medium but looked like an old grey shoe. No signature char I am used to getting on my Morton’s steak. Looked like it was boiled. Wife was pleased with her fillet and lobster tail. Drinks were ok and sides were also good. Very dissatisfied and disappointed in the whole experience. I won’t write Morton’s off for good but Charlotte is definitely off my list.
Mortons provides a fine dining experience with a menu offering variety of choices
The Caesar salad tasted awful
The steaks were undercooked
The crab cake was all bread very little crab- no taste
Very disappointing experience
Christmas Eve dinner with family
This was my first time at Morton’s and it was amazing from start to finish. Delaney and Cassie were my servers and they did an incredible job with our service and meal. Looking forward to eating at Morton’s again! Thanks
It was awesome! The food, the people! Everything was great!!
My boyfriend and I love high end dining and trying new restaurants, so this was our first time at Morton’s. Honestly the ambience was beautiful and the waiters were friendly and attentive. My boyfriend got the salmon which they said is recommended to be cooked medium, although it came out looking quite raw like sushi. He said his drink and appetizer which was the lobster ravioli was good but it was a very small portion and looked like someone had already started eating it, I left a pic below because we were shocked at how small of a portion and that the presentation wasn’t better. I had the chicken which was good and our sides were the mashed potatoes and corn soufflé. The potatoes were very good. The corn soufflé had an odd taste. If we go back it will be so that he can try the steak.
We really enjoyed the service, food and atmosphere. It was 4 of us and we all said we will be back very soon.
Amazing ambiance, great food , and service. Our server Makenzie was amazing and very helpful.
My husband and I had dinner at Morton’s to celebrate our anniversary. The whole experience was perfection. This was my 2nd time visiting a Morton’s restaurant. The 1st visit was in Nashville. We look forward to coming back soon.
Just sad the turkey ran out even though we had a reservation
We went to Morton’s to celebrate my son’s birthday. We all enjoyed the food and the atmosphere was festive on Thanksgiving.
Went here to celebrate my birthday!
The food was awesome! The Chicken Christopher was amazing!
I was extremely disappointed in the food. Our meal came out cold and it was absolutely not worth $200.00. I’m not one to take my opinions public but with a sanitation rating of 88 and overpriced food this restaurant needs a change. The service was good but this poor guy has a hard job to deliver less than mediocre meals at a pretty price
Little bit more attention, valet parking guy need some identification show the he work for the restaurant.
Great experience, ate at the bar!
Service was not good. Was told by server that she didn’t have time to explain the menu. Ordered drinks just to be told 25 mins later that they do not have the wine that was offered and did not bother to offer anything else. This was supposed to be a birthday celebration. Everyone was unimpressed.
