Morton's is always awesome I love the atmosphere and the waitstaff is great. I ambiance is well balance for romantic dinners, business dinners and celebrations.
My husband and I went with friends for our wedding anniversary. We ordered king crab legs as part of our entree but they didn’t come out with our steak as they should have. We were told there had been a mix up with our ticket. About 20 minutes later we finally got the crab legs but they were ice cold in spots. Not worth $63 for late, cold crab. We were there with another couple for both of our anniversaries and didn’t want to be “those people” to complain, so we ate what we could. This is the kind of restaurant that you pay a considerable amount of money to dine at & expect everything to be absolutely perfect, so we were a little disappointed this time. All of our other times at Morton’s have been fabulous, so this must have just been a hiccup with the mix up.
Steak was amazing, as usual. Lobster Mac and cheese was delicious. The bacon wrapped scallops appetizer was sub par. They were a bit dry & we expected at least 4 for the price of $26 but it only comes with 3.
We were comped a dessert because they were out of the first steak we ordered, which was nice. The hot chocolate cake was very rich and delicious.
Overall it was a good experience. Our server was incredibly nice and personable. He had a wonderful personality and took great care of us.

Steaks were excellent as always. Very quiet place, too quiet but that's due to Covid19 distancing and only a handful of patron's on a Tuesday evening.

Morton’s was AMAZING. The food was fresh and flavorful. I did have an issue with my steak being overcooked but the manager stepped in and fixed it immediately! I was visiting from out of town and I will definitely be back!
Dining at Morton's during Covid is a different experience, but that is to be expected.
The service was extremely good, the food was what you would expect at Morton's, I was disappointed that the menu and wine list was limited. It was a good night with friends and I will be back when I am in the area.
Very friendly staff, so I hate to leave a poor review but the price we paid for the meal was way more then what we received. There was nothing wrong with our meal, it was good but not that good.
The food was amazing and the service was as well. The prices are a little too high, but everything else makes up for it.
The food was inedible. We ordered crab cake appetizer, ribeye, spinach and mushrooms, and potatoes au gratin. Everything was bad. The crab cake needed to be dunked in sauce to get down. We hoped that it was just bad because we ordered seafood so far from an ocean. My husband choked down as much steak as he could because it was so expensive and he didn’t want to hurt my feelings, but after seeing me spit out the bites I took of both sides, he admitted it was gross. We couldn’t even finish our cocktails they were so bad too. Despite it being a birthday, we left before dessert because I didn’t want to waste more money on disgusting food.
Hostess was extremely rude. We had made a last minute reservation because our other date spot was not adhering to social distancing guidelines. Servers were great, food was okay.
Lauren was amazing! She helped my husband and I with everything! She even had the bartenders whip up a drink that was no longer on the menu to satisfy my taste. I had the filet and it was amazing. My husband had the bone in Ribeye, but he was not impressed. He did not like how they cooked the steak because the fat did not break down easily. It was hard and made the steak hard to eat. Other than that the dessert was good. We will be back to see Lauren!!!
In my opinion, the food, ambience and service were good but not remarkable. The location is nice. However, for the money spent, I believe I would try another upscale restaurant.

Wonderful experience here. James was the beat waiter I’ve had in a very long time. Kevin the manager stopped by a few times to make sure things were going great. It was my belated birthday dinner for myself and I loved it. They made me feel super special here. Food was executed perfectly. Steak was one of the best ones I’ve had.

I order the pork chop. Its 2 chops bone in but when I cut into it, the center was pink and cool. They promptly took it back and grilled it. However it just wasn't up to their standard. They did not charge me for the chops so kudos to their customer service.

Food took over an hour to get out but once we notified the manager, he quickly took care of it and gave us dessert on the house. Everything was very good.
Unfortunately, our server seemed like a first time server and not an experienced server in an upscale steakhouse. We saw another table that also seemed to be frustrated by the lack of customer service. There were 2 managers, but they seemed more concerned with sitting by the kitchen instead of monitoring the happiness of the customers. It took 15 min to get our first cocktail and we kept having to ask to get our waters refilled. There weren't many people there so I am a little surprised at the inattentiveness. Also, the quality of the food seems to have gone down. Since when does bleu cheese go on escargot? No. Also, the bread is just cheap store bought onion rolls it seems. Very disappointing for the price point. We will probably not be going back anytime soon.
Back at Morton’s for the first time in probably 10 years. The food and service were great. It is certainly an expensive meal but it lives up to the hype.
We enjoy dining at Morton’s and tonight was no different. The food, service and atmosphere were outstanding.
The experience got off to a bad start. The waitress didn’t even take our drink order for 30 minutes. Then the lobster bisque was compeletley bland, the creamed spinach was tasteless, the steak was good, but after sitting in the restaurant for 2 hours just waiting on food I was over the whole experience. We will not be back!
Another excellent experience at Morton's. This is hands down the best steak house in Charlotte. The steaks are obviously their specialty and I haven't found anywhere that knows how to cook one better. My 16oz Prime Ribeye was melt in your mouth smooth and oh so flavorful. My wife's 6oz Prime Filet was as well. Our au gratin potatoes were in a scrumptious cheese sauce that was amazing. The service at Morton's simply can't be beat. Our waitress was knowledgeable about everything on the menu and able to explain everything and even steer us in a direction on various choices that we wouldn't necessarily have thought of beforehand, but are glad we trusted her recommendations. I highly recommend going to Mortons.
