Not my best experience at Morton's. Service was slow and inattentive. It took more than 10 minutes to get 3 uncomplicated bar drinks. Was not asked about second round of drinks. Bad smell in street entrance. Food was very good, however total experience fell short of $100 per person meal.

Terrible experience from start to finish! Appetizers were blah; veal ordered medium rare was RAW; pork chop dry- like trying to cut through a steel toed boot! A center cut filet that was smashed up and looked like it was cooked sideways. The soufflé that had to be ordered before the dinner? Really? If you saw it you’d be appalled - it was awful! Morton’s should be ashamed- $318???? Don’t waste your hard earned money- go to Ruth’s Chris instead.

Extremely disappointed. Came for NYE and seated in an over flow room with bright canned lighting, no decor just black walls. The spinach salad that we got on recommendation was so chopped it looked like slaw. The “Oscar” style filet with crab meat and asparagus was also so chopped up it was like seafood salad. We spent over $300! This was the worst experience I’ve had. I will never go back. We will continue to eat at Jeff Ruby’s

No one books at a Mortons without knowing the cost, and most of us are prepared for it. BUT, i have to say this, restaurants are going to far. Why is your single glass of coke worth an ENTIRE TWELVE PACK form the store? why is it worth OVER DOUBLE my other favorite restaurants? DO you use a special recipe that uses pure sugar form the virgin sugar fields of western Cambodia? Do you have a specially trained pour-ista service my drinks? Are you using a Waterford glass? No No No. Then don't charge me over four bucks for a coke. You got me for $420 for other food, why charge me over $12 for three sodas? Ludicrous

As usual the food was awesome. We did the surf and turf special and it was amazing. The creamed spinach is just absolutely awesome. My favorite side dish. I tried the escargot this time. It was OK. Something was lacking but I can’t put my finger on it. Disappointed that people would bring their infant children to the restaurant. Table next to us the roughly 1-year-old cried The entire meal. Made for not quite such an enjoyable evening but that is not Mortons fault. That is the stupidity of people to take a one-year-old to a super nice upscale restaurant.

While I know this was Christmas Eve, the entire experience was disappointing. Drinks were inconsistent and they ran out things. Our side dishes never came until everyone was done with their main course. The manager did apologize & we weren't charged for the side dishes but I expect a LOT more from Morton's. This is probably the 8th or 9th time we have spent Christmas Eve here and it will be the last. The food was fine but not outstanding. Service was sub-par at best. Definitely not worth the price!!

My daughter's lobster bisque was cold. When notified they took care of it right away, but she said it was better at Red Lobster. Salads were good with large portions and reasonably priced. Steak my daughter ordered was very good but seemed overpriced for 6 oz filet. Chicken and sea bass ordered by rest was just okay. Overall just overpriced but view was fantastic.

After 10 years of dining at Morton's, we finally had a mediocre meal - and for their prices mediocre is not acceptable. Last Saturday, the quality of the food and the care with which it was prepared just wasn't there. The filets were a bit off. Texture was a tiny bit mealy and flavor a bit lacking, frozen maybe? The caesar salad was light on the dressing, no shaved parmesan and no anchovies. The romaine, however, was excellent. The mac and cheese was no longer sinfully rich , more like something I'd make at home. Asparagus was great. Chocolate lava cake was great as usual. As the years roll by, it gets harder and harder to navigate their wine list to find a reasonably priced, decent wine. But it can be done. BTW, don't order an Old Fashioned; two at the table said it was one of the worst they ever had at a nice restaurant.

Had a dinner here for our project team and was pretty disappointed. Very expensive with $12 cocktails. The menu is ala cart so at $60 a steak with all side dishes an additional price. Fair enough. Service was poor. My coworker waited 20 minutes for a Diet Coke ( he does not drink). The waiter grabbed the half empty Coke and proceeded to take the 20 minutes to bring the fresh soda back after I had to confront the server. One of the steaks was not prepared very well. Charred on the outside. Raw on the inside. He asked for medium well. So for the money this place charges not worth the price ($500 for 4). Go to Jeff Rubys up the street, just as pricey but much better. Or save yourself some cash and go across the street to McCormicks and Schmicks.

Absolutely fabulous steaks! Nate was our service and answered our questions about the menu and made suggestions. He was very pleasant although seemed to be a bit busy.
The steaks were done to perfection. NOT over cooked and melt in your mouth.
Atmosphere pleasing and festive for the holidays. The maitre d' sat us at a table next to the window so we may view Fountain Square and the Christmas tree.
We topped the evening off with a double chocolate mousse that was to die for.
Yes we will be back, usually on special occasions due the the price. But it's nice to splurge once in a while.
Thank you Mortons

Food was bad service was worse. Never got dessert. We ordered a piece of carrot cake at 6:30 knowing we had to leave at 7:00 to get to the theater. At 7:05 we asked for the check and knowing we were already late leaving we had to wait while the mgr hand wrote a card for a free dessert on our next visit which is never. A $60 steak should melt in your mouth, this steak was not as good as a $20 steak at the Texas Road House. Never return.

I generally like Morton's, but was not impressed with staffing. There was just something missing, even though it was a good experience. Maybe an off night. We heard a lot of "I'm sorry" and it wasn't for actual service, but more tardiness. It wasn't something we even noticed that was lacking or slow.

We were greeted and seated in an utmost timely manner with the reservation time honored about 10 minutes ahead of schedule. The Sommelier was outstanding, directing us to a wine of superb choice for our evening. The menu is a-la-carte as most competitive restaurants are. The food quality was high, including steaks, salads, bread, sides, and desserts. The waiter was engaging, caring, and timely in all regards of the evening. To top it off, we were seated window side overlooking Fountain Square, a nice touch to the meal!

We went to have Thanksgiving and I think our server wanted to be home rather than work. For the level this restaurant was suppose to be, he was very inattentive and did not give any information on how the food is prepared, even when we asked. Doubt we will return.

The food at Morton's is spectacular. The service was less than impeccable. My fiance and I were dining with another couple. We had a bottle of wine, they each ordered beers. The wine arrived in a reasonable time, but the beers took over 20 minutes. The place was maybe 25% occupied on a Saturday evening, had they been busy, long ticket times for bar drinks would be more understandable. After we finished our meals, a gentleman, I assume was an assistant manager, came by to ask how everything was. We told him that the food was delicious, and he offered to package my finace's remaining filet and potatoes, to which she responded yes. While we spoke with him, our server came around to clear plates, and they walked off together. Apparently their was some miscommunication, as no one ever returned with the food. Though the service was sub-par, the rest of the experience was great.

Unfortunately had a bad experience here. I ordered a filet, medium rare. Definitely was over cooked. Even the waiter saw that. Offered another. Medium rare in the center, burned and dry on the outside. I gave up. Didn’t want to ruin the whole night. Took it home and gave it to the cat. Will never go back.

Meal cost $350 for 2 entrees, 2 appetizers, a chopped salad; steamed spinach and 3 drinks.

The bread was the consistency of store bought dinner rolls and flavorless; the butter was greasy and had no butter flavor; shrimp was overcooked and tough; escargot were overcooked and tough; chopped salad was minced. The good: filet was tender and flavorful; the pasta that came with the scampi was very flavorful; they carry Rogue deadman maibok!

Our waiter was a bit pretentious but became more personable after he noticed his 20% tip, but ought to have been genuine throughout the meal.

She read her check and was charged for grey goose; The server should have stated that the grey goose WAS THE WELL, if it really was the well....please train your servers to be informative so that a guest/guests do not walk out and talk to others- "I will never go back to Mortons"

I believe the restaurant was three star dining at four star pricing. I expect to pay top dollar for a meal at a restaurant in this category. What I also expect is to be "wowed" in some form or another. We were served ordinary food plated well. Service was average at best.

My husband and I love steak, especially filets! He decided to surprise me with a date to Morton's tonight. I guess we're just spoiled by Ruby's and the fact that I cook an amazing filet perfectly seasoned and seared on cast iron because we are extremely unsatisfied with the steaks tonight. My husband ordered the bone in filet and I had a center cut filet. His was cooked to the correct temperature but lacked flavor, he says I cook a better steak and I'd have to say I agree. My steak was also cooked as ordered but looked more like a thin sirloin than the thick filet I was expecting, it also lacked flavor, luckily I had bearnaise to improve the taste. Our truffle fries were also barely room temperature. We also watched our food almost get delivered to the wrong table. I also find it interesting that a manager never stopped by our table to thank us for dining and ask how our meal was. When someone is paying $250 for dinner, it should be perfect. The wedge salad was the highlight of the meal
