First time dining at Morton's and even with the holiday rush of Thanksgiving our experience was wonderful. Great service, great food and great atmosphere.
My wife and I went to celebrate Thanksgiving dinner and enjoy the Thanksgiving menu. When we arrived we waited :30 thirty minutes past our reservation time to be seated. Before we sat we waited :20 twenty minutes for a drink at the bar. Once seated we waited another :20 minutes for our server to take our drink order. Once seated almost :40 late We asked to have the Thanksgiving dinner and we were told it was sold out by 2pm. We saw the table behind us having the Thanksgiving dinner, but we were told it was because they has reservations for weeks. So did we! Really dissatisfied at this point we ordered steaks that were chewy and mashed potatoes that had been under a heat lamp and dry. Terrible. We ordered dessert and was okay, but no one offered us at least a free drink for all of the issues. On top of this my wife said there was no toilet paper in the restroom. The men’s restroom has no paper towels and was a wreck. We used to love Morton’s , but this was one of the top 3 worst experiences I’ve had in my life dining out and the *1 worst at a fine dining establishment . I’m hoping something can be done to make up for this because as of now we will not be coming back. All we heard from server and host is excuses.
We’d appreciate a refund or something.

Had our thanksgiving dinner at Morton’s, they were super busy, we had a reservation but they were so busy we didn’t get seated till about 30 after our reservation, that being said the service was excellent regardless and the food was of course excellent.
We went to Morton’s for thanksgiving . I booked the table well in advance . We waited about 40 minutes to get seated and another 30 minutes for drinks . I choose Morton’s bc they were offering a thanksgiving meal . When we got our menus , the waiter told us it was all sold out . We were not eating late , so I’m not sure why the dinner was sold out . We had to wait and wait all evening . The managers excuse was that they were trying their best . Honestly it was just awful . We were there for 4 hours . It was just never ending and we were really happy to just get out of there . The staff was not happy or welcoming like you would expect . I felt like we were a burden to them the entire time . Morton’s will be a no go for us in the future.
Thanksgiving Day . Food was excellent. Service just a little slower then normal but that was due to the crowd.
My wife and I enjoyed an anniversary dinner at Morton's recently. We've been several times before and the quality is always excellent. The grilled oysters were an awesome starter, we split a wedge salad, my wife had lobster ravioli and I had a rib eye cooked to perfection. Sides were very good. Our waiter was pleasant, answered our questions and served the table with nice timing. One thing we did notice is that it appeared the Carew Tower hadn't had its windows cleaned in a while.
Everything and everyone was excellent from the moment we walked in until the moment we walked out!
Our girls night out was fabulous… our waiter paid attention to every detail without being pushy . It was wonderful to be at a restaurant where we could carry on a conversation without feeling like we had to raise our voices ❤️
Delicious food...served hot ( except a grilled Shrimp appetizer---- came out luke-warm--- but was Tasty) ....or cold (salads) ---relevant to the dish! Chopped Salad was extraordinary!!!
All was great...although at times our waiter----who besides this was VERY GOOD!--- disappeared, as did other service. They were not terribly busy... but perhaps were a tad short staffed?
When you go and pay for Morton's... one just "EXPECTS" fantastic service. Service today very good--- not necessarily fantastic though!
Booked a reservation in the bar at Morton's Steakhouse in Cincinnati using Open Table for a late evening, post football game dinner. After discovering that Morton's no longer has valet parking, we found available parking in the Fountain Square Garage.
Upon entering the restaurant, I went directly to the hostess stand to check in and be seated. The hostess told me that since I had selected a bar table that I just needed to sit at any table with a "Reserved" sign on it. Once in the bar, there was only one bar table with a "Reserved" sign that was cleaned.
Our waitress was very nice and attentive and provided fantastic service.
We ordered the 8-ounce "Prime" Manhattan Cut with their wedge salad, the crab cakes with a chopped house salad, and an order of their baked corn souffle.
The kitchen was a little slow and our entrees were brought out in multiple waves and we had to wait for utensils to be brought to us to enable us to eat.
The baked corn souffle was very creamy and tasty, the salads were good, and the crab cakes were meaty and very good. Unfortunately, the Prime Manhattan Cut was anything but prime. It had one side that was all gristley and the rest had little to no taste.
Fantastic food and service! This was for a special occasion and Morton's did not disappoint!! Thank you for the amazingly cooked steaks!
I’ll start by saying that the service was exceptional from Casey. She took great care of us and none of our disappointment with the restaurant stemmed from her. We started with a glass of wine, the jumbo shrimp cocktail, and their onion loaf of bread. To my disappointment, the jumbo shrimp came halfway submerged in cocktail sauce, which pretty much ruins shrimp for me. The onion loaf tasted exactly like an Arby’s beef and cheddar bun, also not what I was hoping for at a supposedly top-class restaurant. We both had the wedge salad which was nice. Next came dinner: I ordered an 8-oz filet medium-rare, she ordered the surf & turf with the steak medium-well (no judgement), and we split the au gratin potatoes. My medium rare steak came out medium well, just the slightest hint of pink left in the center, which is terribly overcooked. Hers came out like a charcoal briquette. Not even a hint of pink left. These looked like they were left on the grill about 100% too long. Also, the potatoes were about on par with the potato soup at O’charleys. Not to mention that there were fruit flies circling us the entire evening.
I can say in all honesty that I would have been better off quality-wise at Outback or Long horn. And would have saved myself $150. Morton’s was MORE expensive than Jeff Ruby’s, and the experience, food, and atmosphere don’t hold a candle. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Anywhere else.
Service was great the waiter had a very good understanding of the menu and could answer any question about the menu. He stated how well known they were for there steaks and how great the steaks are. We got the bacon for an app and I would definitely recommend that to anyone who goes. For our entrees we both got filets and then I added on an 8oz lobster tail. The steaks were a huge disappointment. No where close to prime beef in my eyes. The knife struggled to cut through the piece of meat but the outside of the steaks were also extremely crunchy from behind charred. For sides we got the truffle fries and the corn. Those definitely made up for the below average steaks. I had a Jeff Ruby’s expectation going in and felt more like a Texas Roadhouse steak experience.
We have celebrated my husband's birthday at Morton's since 2012 - always an excellent and memorable evening. We dine there other times during the year, as well. Bar specials and bar bites are also a great way to begin an evening downtown.

My wife and I both thought the service was exceptional and the food absolutely delicious. From the time we walked in the door until we left we were treated with utmost respect. Every bite was absolutely delicious. We plan on returning.

Great place after Bengals games. Short, leg stretching walk, excellent meal in a quiet atmosphere and no traffic mess when you leave. Son and I do this several times a season, highly recommended.
Key lime martini took 20 minutes after desserts came, and the Manhattan took about 20 minutes as well. Appetizers were spaced out from each other they didn’t all come out together we were there from 7pm to 10pm. Minor apologizes about how long it all took but no reimbursement for the drinks and desserts that took forever. It was the appetizers that took awhile to come out together, the French onion soups took about 40 minutes after apps themselves and then food was ok nothing special. Manager brought out our bottle of champagne and opened it but then said she was gonna get an ice bath for it and never did so champagne got warm. However she did bring mash potatoes for the kid in our party which was appreciated! I just don’t understand the length of time for drinks and food and why it was a 3 hour dining experience when we put all food in 30 minutes after we got there. Do not recommend I feel we should’ve been compensated for apps and drinks for the length of time it took. It was a birthday dinner they do get a plus for the names of the menus but poor service which no compensation for the fact. We saw our server about 3 times throughout our the service between appetizers and main course he was not there. The SA was great he recommended wine we enjoyed and was there to grab plates but the service from the server lacked tremendously. Mind you the bill was split between 2 with a grand total of over $800
Amazing meal and ambiance!
We took guests from out of town to give them a great Cincinnati experience. They were impressed with the atmosphere and quality of our meals. I had the wagyu, my husband and the other gentleman had the Cajun ribeye, and his wife had the filet mignon. All steaks were cooked exactly as ordered. The créme brûlée was a great way to finish off the meal!
Expected a meal that was representative of the price. Service was extremely slow, with an hour before steaks came, and when they did they were purple after asking for Medium. Way better options in Cincinnati.

Food was outstanding. One of the best steaks I have had at Morton's - cooked perfectly! And the creamed spinach is always amazing! I have never been disappointed!
Run out of food. Take 1hr to receive meal. Told a 1 15 minutes later no mash potatoes.

We went for restaurant week. We definitely wouldn’t go and pay full price. Steaks were very well done instead of medium. Honestly our favorite part of the meal was the free bread.
Celebrating a birthday. Service superb and food same for the most part…..husband’s New York steak was not up to their usual standard. Very chewy; fair amount of grizzle.
Main course was good but the sides were not up to the standard I would expect for a restaurant of this scale.
The food and the service was amazing. Loved the ambiance and the surroundings. Definitely will go back again in the future.
We went to Morton's as part of our celebration of Cincinnati Restaurant Week and as usual, they did not disappoint. Our group of 4 enjoyed a delicious 4 course meal. My filet was delicious, the sides were yummy and the chocolate lava cake was a perfect rich chocolatey finish. Our server was friendly and attentive without hovering, our water glasses were kept full, plates cleared. It was a great meal at a great dining spot.
Restaurant week special
Service was slow. My steak was burnt on edges and although I asked for 8 ounce I think I got 6. My daughters pasta dish had so much garlic n it she could not eat it. Just took a long time to get everything. Reservations were at 6:45 but did not finish till well past 10.
My ribeye was cooked improperly very hopeful Morton’s is able to return to level of service.
