The food and the service was amazing. Loved the ambiance and the surroundings. Definitely will go back again in the future.
We went to Morton's as part of our celebration of Cincinnati Restaurant Week and as usual, they did not disappoint. Our group of 4 enjoyed a delicious 4 course meal. My filet was delicious, the sides were yummy and the chocolate lava cake was a perfect rich chocolatey finish. Our server was friendly and attentive without hovering, our water glasses were kept full, plates cleared. It was a great meal at a great dining spot.
Restaurant week special
Service was slow. My steak was burnt on edges and although I asked for 8 ounce I think I got 6. My daughters pasta dish had so much garlic n it she could not eat it. Just took a long time to get everything. Reservations were at 6:45 but did not finish till well past 10.
A very memorable meal with outstanding service and atmosphere.
I think our server was new and was not up to the "Morton's" standards of service. No Valet service which made getting there a tad difficult since my guest has limited mobility.
Overall ambiance was fantastic! Service was a little slow and the food was mediocre.
Very disappointing experience. One of our favorite things about Morton's is the consistently exceptional service and quality across the country. This night we had neither. The best experience was with the hostess who was very cordial and upbeat, and a pleasure to interact with. Once we were seated everything changed. The service was incredibly slow and even inattentive, even starting with waiting to be greeted at the table and simply having the water glasses filled. That pace continued throughout the entire night, only seeing our server every 15 minutes or so, sitting with empty drinks etc. The "highlight" of the night was when my $62 twelve ounce filet was burnt all the way around the outside (not charred but burnt). It looked bad enough on top but I decided to try and eat it anyway since the other two people I was dining with were prepared to eat. However one bite that tasted like charcoal was enough. I looked at the bottom side which turned out to be even more burnt but had been placed face down, I assume to hide it. I had to return my steak to have a new one prepared which I almost NEVER do, I always attempt to eat whatever has come out but this was just too much. Keep in mind my steak was ordered medium rare so it's not like they were trying to get it to a well done temp inside. After waiting about 10 minutes for a glimpse of our server so I could return it, then another 10 for a replacement my companions were finished eating, the sides were cold, and the experience was sealed as our worst at any of the 8 or so Morton's we have visited. Next time I am looking for a steakhouse in Cincinnati I will try Jeff Ruby's which had excellent reviews.
Great service and experience. 8 oz filet was ok. My husband got salmon and it was much better. Green beans and creamed spinach we not good. Wine and dessert were recommended and pretty good.
Go to Jeff Ruby’s for better food and ambiance
Steak was pretty good. Atmosphere not great. A little pricey.
Thought food was underdone. I ordered a medium strip and as I approached the center it had become very medium rare. Shrimp Alexander was soggy when we were told it would be crispy. Ambience and decor especially in the back room was very lackluster. Could definitely use a refresh. We’ll probably be back but will try other alternatives first when we return to the area
The food was very good. The service was OUTSTANDING!
Outstanding food and service! Our water, Pacer, was personable, informative, and professional.
Amazing food, great service! Must try the Gouda au gratin and lava cake 😍
Amazing. Many options for drinks. Food was amazing and didn’t take long
It was great. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. They even gave us free dessert for our anniversary.
Good food. Good service.
Enjoyed another great dinner at Morton’s. The food was great as always and we enjoyed the excellent Labor Day special menu.
Pacer was our server. He was absolutely amazing!
Very long wait times, 30 mins for drinks, cold food, awesome server
The place was very clean and organized. The service and food was excellent. The price is the price...
Great service, fantastic food. Even called to ensure we new about parking.
Very satisfied, had a great evening
Consistent quality in cuisine and service. Perfect for a nice evening out.
Waited 20 before someone came to the table. 45 mins for the salad. 2 hours before food came out. Had to fo the bar and order drinks. Best of all we told the waiter we understood you are busy and shorted handed but this was ridiculous. He told us he understands because he’s having a bad day. 16 people with no reservation got service before I did.
As a member of the restaurant thanks but no thanks.
The food preparation was subpar to previous experience and compared to competing restaurants.
Great food! Best steak I've ever eaten. And I definitely recommend the chocolate cake!
Responded to a promotion for a 4 course meal with a bottle of wine running this weekend. Every course was great, except maybe the baked potato which was a bit dry and over baked, not fluffy. We both ordered filet and both were prepared perfectly to taste. What made the meal especially top notch was the service. The server, wish I could remember her name, but she was attentive, friendly, and not pretentious as some servers can be at a high end steak house. We left full and maybe a bit tipsy from the wine… perfect.
Terrible bland food. You would think for 300 dollars you would have some flavor. Everything tasted like it was cooked on a dirty grill. I've never been more disappointed with a "fine dining" experience. Don't waste your time and money.
I hadn’t been to Morton’s in about 6 years. My previous dining experience was outstanding. This time not as much. Our sever was friendly and helpful but she also had a lot of tables so we were left alone for long stretches of time. They also seated us in front of the kitchen and “to go” orders were prepped right behind our head and there was a constant shouting of food. It was really loud. My BF wears a hearing aid and he had to turn it down so i ended up shouting.
I had the 8oz filet and it was quite good. My boyfriends bone in rib-eye was sub-par. The asparagus was ok - over cooked. For the price i expected more. I will not be back any time soon.
It was great experience
As always delicious
Clearly still short staffed, could not get a drink. Both at the bar and at the table drinks took longer than food. Still Mortons, but slow, slow, slow.
Great Service, food was not great. Got steak and was burnt.
Extremely over priced for no reason. Will not return or suggest to friends.
The meal from the wine to dinner and desert was amazing. Everything was great. Our waitress made sure everything was perfect for us. Highly recommend.
Another memorable Morton’s experience. Service, as always, was excellent. Very attentive at all times. Timing was spot on throughout the meal. Never felt rushed yet was never left alone too long. Food was delicious and well done. I enjoyed the pork chop, while my wife and daughter split the Chicken Christopher. For dessert, my daughter ordered the hot chocolate cake and it was amazing. My only complaint for the evening was the Bloody Mary. Maybe Morton’s makes it completely different from the rest of the world but it was undrinkable. It tasted more like lime juice than anything else. Disappointing for $18. Regardless, I hope to be back soon!
Wonderful tender Filet Mignon with 10 oz Succulent Lobster Tail. Flavorful sides and Napa Cabernet Sauvignon. Excellent Service!!
Excellent food! You can't go wrong with dinner at Morton's.
All the food was delicious!! My husband said that his cocktail was very good. The cheesecake for dessert was really good!!
