Morton's The Steakhouse - Boston Seaport

Great night all around. Morton’s is the place for special nights.
We are members of the Landry Select Club, which is a great rewards program. We really enjoyed the steak and seafood dinner for two for $99. Quite a deal. And as always, excellent service.
We always have a wonderful dinner at Morton's, and this weekend was no exception. The $99 per couple special menu was a terrific value, and the portion sizes were generous. The service was as pleasant and professional as always.
Had an early reservation for six and we’re seated at our leisure after a few drinks at the bar. Service was good all around although we don’t recall our head waitress ever introducing herself. Food was spectacular as always and the pace of the meal was left to our group. We were not rushed which was nice. A must visit place.
Awesome service and food great waiter John as always
Excellent dinner and service. Celebrating several special life events.
Great food and our server Clare was the best!
Our waiter kept forgetting our stuff then we would have to wait him him to come around just wasn’t a good experience
Food was great
Outstanding service and food. Never disappoints!
Great food. We went for restaurant week so had the best value too! Service was slow but very accommodating.
We went to Morton’s for Boston restaurant week. Food and service was very good but very expensive. The price fix for restaurant week made it affordable. Keep in mind it will cost you an additional $16 for valet parking plus a tip.
We decided to try Morton’s in the Seaport during Restaurant Week because we were going to be in the area, and we are so glad we did! From the moment we walked in we felt very welcome, and the service and food were both amazing. We are already planning our next night out there!
from start to finish excellence all around. Our waitress Liz was the best waitress I've ever encountered.
I will go back to morton's again for sure
Everything was amazing. The only issue was the service- plates were brought and the waiter reached across the table to serve. Drinks were poured from the left. For a 5 star restaurant, service should be impeccable.
Food is always great but the service was exceptional.
Morton’s is the best place to eat a steak dinner in Boston
Excellent experience, 4 of us went during Restaurant Week, $38.00 for 3 courses, the 6oz filet that I ordered was cooked perfectly and was $48.00 a la cart, add soup, sides, a drink and dessert and the total would have been $100.00+, everyone's statement when food arrived, " Wow, This is Hot!!"
Morton is awesome! Celebrated my girlfriend birthday on that day, and service is without a doubt the best. Would definitely visit Morton Boston again!
Everything was PERFECT! From the moment we saw the host to the moment we were seated and the food, and it sever was AWESOME!
I went to this place to celebrate my husband birthday. We are new to Boston so I asked around and read reviews and this place seemed ok. But it was better than ok. I went out of my expectations and the food was amazing. Prices was super good for the value.
Always great. Everyone loved it.
We were here during Dine Out Boston, so our experience may not be the norm. Probably not 5 stars for value if we paid a al carte prices!
That said, our overall experience here was so good that we are talking about coming back again outside of Dine Out!
First the bad: atmosphere is not very inviting. It’s a wide open dining room without much of visual interest. Decor is basically black with some sparkle on the light fixtures and a weird display of wine bottles of different sizes. Some tables were a bit too close to each other. The bread is doughy, sweet and covered in crisp onion bits. My dad loved it but to me it was the supermarket Pillsbury dough of my childhood.
But everything else was just right.
Despite the crowd, service was attentive and quick without being intrusive or cloying. When drinks took longer in arriving than they ought the server explained and apologized proactively. It was a busy night but we were seated right at our reservation time and weren’t rushed through our meal at all. The other courses came in a timely manner and properly sequenced, we got our courses simultaneously and they weren’t trying to serve the mains before we finished firsts. I have a nut allergy and this was handled very appropriately.
Aside from the disappointing bread, everything else was delicious. We opted for old-school classics: dry Martini for me and my dad a vodka gimlet. We’ve had lots of cocktails in our time and these were outstanding. The Morton’s salad was not a combo I’d normally choose but I was feeling adventurous and it was fantastic. The filet mignon was divine- a perfect steak. And surprisingly they erred on the generous side of size, just the right amount for me. The mashed potatoes were lusciously creamy. Au gratin potatoes the right blend of cThe chocolate mousse and blueberry tart were right and the 10 year tawny port the perfect end.
Well done, Morton’s!
It was really good on my baby birthday
We went for restaurant week, food was great but typical steak house menu. There was nothin out of the ordinary.
Delicious food, great staff and they had an excellent restaurant week menu!! And great drinks!!!
Surprised for the service and the food, the filet mignon way much better than Smith and Wollensky.
Went for restaurant week on Monday night. Value was excellent with the special menu. Service was impeccable. Hard for me to go there with the regular menu prices, but during restaurant week it is a great deal.
Started off poorly as we sat at the bar for a pre-dinner drink. Fortunately for the bartender and unfortunately for us there evidently was a regular and his wife eating dinner at the bar. It was as if we were invisible. Service was terrible for us. It was really strange when the bartender gave the customer a Morton’s bag which looked as if it had something in it. The man left the restaurant and came back with the same bag. He brought the bartender back two bottles of wine from his private stock at his apartment for the bartender saying “here, these are for your wife”. When the bartender got his nose out of the customers butt we then waited to get our check to go to our dinner table. It hostess came for us twice as we had to wait forever for service. Once we sat down and ordered, my wife’s steak was prepared rare/raw after being ordered medium well. She was so discussed with it she could not eat it nor did she want a take home bag for it as the experience was spoiled already. A shame that the waiter had to take back a virtually an entire steak. We were both saddened for this experience as we frequently eat at Morton’s across the country in our travels. This was the worse experience ever encountered
My significant other and I are from Northern Maine, we don’t have a lot of “upscale” or “fine dining” restaurants. I am a server and I LOVE checking out places with great steaks! When I plan to specifically to go out looking for a nice steak, I plan to spend good money to get one! We had gone to a few different restaurants while in Boston, and each were “upscale” very expensive places. The food didn’t quite stun either one of us, when we went to Morton’s we were in HEAVEN! Like finally a GREAT well worth the money meal! Thanks for having us!
I was so impressed with the impeccable service, and absolutely incredible menu! Highly recommend coming here if your looking for fine dining in the seaport!
One word: Overpriced
Wonderful 24th anniversary at Mortons
Great food and our server was amazing.
Not special. Service was inconsistent, we felt like we were annoying him. Food was OK, but not worth the high price. We definitely not go back.
Steak alright but for price should have been better.
Server entirely forgot to bring our salad!
I will probably go to other steakhouses in future.
First time dining here. Wanted to impress a first date, and they went above and beyond to help me make it a great evening. Special thanks to Mark (Manager) and Danielle (server), they were fantastic. Food was amazing, one of the best filets I've ever had, cooked to perfection. The ambience here is definitely old school cool, very stylish. Will be back for sure!
Awesome staff, impeccable service, great food!
My family had a nice dining experience, the staff and our waiter David were great. I just felt the side dishes were nothing special and the overall value was not worth the price.
