Morton's The Steakhouse - Boston Seaport Ratings and Reviews
We enjoyed another special occasion dinner at Morton's in Boston. This offers mostly table seating, and I missed cuddling up in a booth - but the tables are spaced far enough apart that you don't impose on each other's conversations or worry about being bumped by waitstaff. We thoroughly enjoyed each course, from salads to main course (beef and seafood) to their delicious desserts. Valet parking makes it easy, since the Seaport District is so busy these days. We will look forward to returning again!
We went for a special birthday. The food was excellent but the waiter wasn’t their best. He forgot two drinks for one of our guests and was very slow and seemed preoccupied with other tables. Not my best Mortons experience. I have had better service on prior occasions. I think it was isolated to this waiter.
Our service was outstanding....perfection, pleasant and comfortable. We wanted to spend more time there! Morton's encourages sharing which is nice because we always share. They even cooked our shared steak to our individual desire! How nice is that!
Our dinner was delicious....the special salad was fresh and tasted of the season and desert topped off a wonderful meal. We were pleasantly surprised by the overall experience - our waitress making it all possible.
We chose Morton's for our anniversary dinner and were not disappointed. It is not an inexpensive meal so it should be great. The highlight of the meal was the 2013 Groth cabernet. The filets were flavorful and tender. Even the leftovers the next day were equally as good. The bread and chocolate sundae were worth the calories! There was a faux pas with timing of the delivery of the soups and salads but the manager made it right. The service was attentive friendly and professional.
We celebrated our 33rd anniversary here this past Saturday. We've periodically gone to Morton's in Boston for special events in our lives and it always comes through with a high quality, fun experience with great food and wine. Hats off to Morton's once again for a fantastic meal and experience!
Food was good but not anything special. Service was slow due to a wine tasting function. The noise level was beyond very loud and annoying . Our table was on a bad location ( first table on the right entering the dining room and was the area where everyone gathered and due to the noise level everyone had to shout at each other to be heard. My wife's shrimp seemed to be not fresh and very over cooked The the point that they were burnt and dry. My veal chop was very good. Overall not a good experience celebrating our 43rd wedding anniversary. Our waitress was excellent and apologetic about the noise level and delayed service.
We had a nice night celebrating our anniversary at Morton's. They knew it was a special occasion and provided us with a cozy table by the window, so we could converse. The meal was excellent, but very pricey. I would recommend this place if you love steak and are going out for a special occasion or if you have a large dining or work/entertainment budget.
I went for a special occasion. Service from the waiter was actually very good, unfortunately as soon as it became busier on a Friday night he became very busy and because they do not use bus help or assistants there were long delays between courses. Management and his assistant asked how we were doing and my impression during a conversation with the manager was he was defending Morton's lack of help by blaming the waiter. At the price point of Morton's I would expect much better attention paid to the state of the table and adequate staffing. Apparently management doesn't agree. It ruined the night.
We were celebrating our mother's 85th birthday. Everything was perfect! The entire staff made our experience very special. Our attentive server Granit was outstanding and very accommodating and helpful from the minute we arrived until the minute that we left. This was our first visit to the Seaport location and we are already planning our next visit. Thank you for a memorable night!
Love everything about this place. OMG, we missed the Friday lobster special (we were there on Saturday), but of course the waiter still made it happen - something about the way they cook a lobster- scrumptious! Classy, great food, great service. Always has been and always will be the best for us! Highly recommend.
Morton's is a great place and I've been many times. The atmosphere, the wait staff and menu choices are usually delicious so my recent visit seems an anomaly. There only issue was the sour cream mashed potatoes. The side dish was flavorless.
Thankfully when we mentioned this, we were offered to change the dish (which was delicious).
