Morton's The Steakhouse - Boca Raton

We had a really nice anniversary dinner. The background noise was a little loud, but the food and service was excellent. Highly recommend.
Steak Poor - Bad Flavor - not cooked right - Just not up to Morton Standards.
Love Mortons. Always optimum quality and impeccable service. This place, in particular this location, never ceases to amaze. Consistant and Excellent.
Palm beach restaurant week menue was great.
The fillet was good and flavorful. The pork chop was huge and very good to taste. Great night for us to be out and having a great dinner
Had the 3 course dinner special. My filet wasn’t really a typical filet. It was a tail piece, came sliced, overcooked and not good flavor. The Caesar salad was also not up to par. My wife’s meal was OK.
We went there for the flavor of palm beach promotion, for the month of September. We were pleasantly surprised with the impeccable service and the food. My filet was cooked perfectly and my wife had the salmon and it was excellent. What else could you want for a night out.
Went for the Morton’s 2/99 special . This time as opposed to others the steak which was ordered as medium well, was made medium well on the inside , but the outside was almost burnt ... lobster was very good ... the mushrooms we ordered , made without the. Spinach , had no taste....
Very average. Basically a bland slab of meat. Was expecting better.
Our reservation was for 7PM, with slow service and sending a piece of burnt salmon back to the kitchen; we left the restaurant at 10PM without ordering the deserts included in the fixed price, three course menu we had ordered. As we watched the other tables receive prompt service we surmised that at $45 per person for 2 people the waiter calculated the tip. We tip based on quality of service. So for any service person reading this please note that the depths of a patrons pockets cannot be judged by what is ordered. The honey balsamic glaze on the salmon was bitter and there was barely any flavor to the sparsely dressed ceasar salad. The seasonal white sangria was carbonated white wine with one orange slice and a small lime wedge. Just terrible.
Chain steakhouse...quality lacking.
Fabulous! The special Labor Day menu was a great value with numerous choices, all of which were delicious.
We had a lovely, delicious dinner (steak and salmon as our entrees) with great service from a charming, professional young lady. The 3 course dinner special menu available that night made it a better value than usual. Even better than we expected!
One of our favorite Morton’s locations!!
Hector is always wonderful with wine suggestions and just stopping by to ensure we have a quality experience. Service is always spot on and the food is consistent - the latter is not as easy as one might think.
Unfortunately I do not eat meat, so this restaurant was not the best choice for me. My salmon was ok, but also completely uninspired. No flavoring or interesting taste.
We had an OK meal. There was a long delay between the salad and receiving our entrees. The food was good but at these prices we expected outstanding. Two members of our party, that rarely if ever add condiments to their steak, had to request steak sauce as the steak was dry.
Had a fabulous meal here. We had 8:00pm reservations and were seated upon arrival. Server was very good-/hospitable, attentive, not overbearing pushy. Wine menu was good. Started with bacon wrapped scallops and crab cocktail as appetizers. Both were very good. Then we had filet steak. I had my filet with truffle butter, which was delectable, and my husband had the cognac sauce as an enhancement. Both were nice enhancements, and our steaks were cooked well perfectly. We also shared a 2 pound lobster, which was on special and a great deal. We finished with a white chocolate bread pudding for dessert that was divine. Overall a great night! Pricy for a regular night out, but standard for this restaurant and somewhat standard for Boca area.
Further thoughts: bar area is very small and popular, so it can easily become overcrowded. Similarly, there is not much of a waiting area outside of the bar area. Would definitely try to make a reservation just in case. Decor is darker, but cozy with sleek decor (not the typical old fashioned dark wood steak house). Dining area can be a bit loud but not enough to deter me from recommending a meal here!
the food and service were outstanding. We went for the lobster special, added a 12 oz filet mignon. Best meal I have had in awhile.
Best Lobster ever. We shared a Caesar Salad and each had 2 pound Lobster cooked to perfection. Added a baked potato and Sangria to compliment the Lobster.
Beautiful Restaurant, Great Service and a Fantastic Meal with Desert for a Birthday Celebration.
Annoying loud. Food and wine were pricey but good. I would prefer Capital Grill over Morton’s.
Birthday celebration, although we go often even when not an occasion. Food is consistently excellent. Service as you expect is good, not perfect, but certainly good.
What I like best is the ambience. Sophisticated and elegant, great acoustics and table spacing. Where grownups can go to talk and enjoy the evening. My favorite steakhouse in town.
The service was very slow to start. Went to the bar for a pre dinner drink. After waiting 20 minutes one of the hosts had to jump in behind the bar and help out. With 2 bartenders on a Saturday night you would think they could handle the load. Obviously not. Eventually we got our drinks. For a restaurant that charges $15-$20 a drink you would think they could get a 3rd bartender.
Then we moved to our table. We waited another 20 minutes for a menu and then another 10 to order a drink. We ordered a bottle of wine and that took an additional 15 minutes.
We had to complain about how slow the service was. The restaurant was not that busy! Lots of empty tables. Eventually things speeded up to a more normal pace.
Food was very good. Not excellent but very good. The onion rings were a little over cooked and the spinach with mushrooms lacked any flavor. The rest was fine.
Will have to think again about going back. There are lots of Steak joints with similar quality food and better service.
Never took picture for the birthday
When I made my reservation that question was asked. But why? Not one person wished my husband good wishes for his birthday.
Great service and great food. My husband and I both ordered steak and not an ounce of fat was on it
It was great food great friends..:) they even give us a Birthday menu:)
The BEST steak I’ve ever eaten prepared perfectly!
Not enough food for price lovely effect for birthdays
Morton's in Boca Raton was an excellent dining choice. They have a complete wine list available. With 3 diners each one chose a different cut of steak . Everyone felt that the steaks were as advertised excellent with great tast e, prepared as ordered, and served professionally. We were seated toward the rear of the restaurant where a somewhat noisy birthday party was in progress. Since we had an early reservation we could have been seated in a quieter section especially we had requested a quiet section of the Restaurant. Unfortunately the person seating us was at best immature and directed us to the table next to the party. That annoyance was more than compensated by the excellent waiter assigned to our table as well as the aforementioned food quality
Great service and top quality food.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is lovely and the food is consistently exceptional.
The food was were excellent. The filet mignon, lobster, and chocolate lava cake were all excellent. The waitress was also excellent.
Had a very disappointing experience. First, we were sat right next to a very loud table when the restaurant was basically empty. We were quickly accommodated and moved. The waitress did not belong in a Morton’s: She was not skilled or professional. The meal was not paced and the appetizers arrived after the second and final cocktail. During the meal we were interrupted to discuss desserts which should have been done when the order was taken because of the soufflé option. We have dined regularly at Morton’s and belong to their Loyalty Program so this was not our first rodeo. This is sad if this is what dining out has come to.
Went to Morton's Steakhouse to celebrate my wife's birthday.
We have been to the Boca Raton location many times before.
Everything was great from Preston at the door to our waiter JP.
They printed out a Special Happy Birthday Menu.
Food was phenomenal.
Had the Shrimp and Lobster Cocktails as appetizers.
I had the Prime NY Steak Flight. 3 types of Filet Mignon which included Organic, USDA Prime and US Wagyu. Unreal flavor.
My wife had the Rack of Lamb.
Sides were spot on. Baked Potato and Spinach/Button Mushrooms.
They gave us a Complimentary Chocolate Molten Lava Cake dessert.
From start to finish... Mmmm Mmmm Great.
Definitely recommended for a Regular dinner and for Special Occassions.
Cannot wait to go back.
Our waitress was very attentive, polite and courteous. Her name was Arantxa.
Had the best server “Charlie” who made everything perfect
Best Morton's experience yet. Great food; excellent service.
Waited over an hour for our salads. “Special” portions are suitable for a small child. Waitress didn’t know why our meals weren’t coming out. Horrible experience.
Waited 1 hr and 41 minutes for steaks to b served. In addition I request a manger several times and modify came over
My husband and I chose to celebrate Fathers’ Day with dinner at Morton’s. His baked onion soup was excellent. Both of us had the filet mignon medium rare. It was done perfectly—tender, flavorful, and not salty. The spinach was tender-not stringy, and the button mushrooms firm-not mushy. We shared a delicious creamy “creme brûlée”. Our server Alex was helpful and efficient.
I was surprised at the extra charge for the “bernais” sauce. I appreciated the calorie count so I could make wise choices. All in all it was a lovely dinner experience. ABK
