Me and my wife had a great time food and service was GREAT!!! Rafael was great best server we have had at this location! We will definitely come back and request Rafael as our server again!!!
The entire dining experience was fabulous.
The service and food was excellent my wife and I really enjoyed the evening. I would recommend this location to anyone.
Morton’s was as it always is, Perfect.
A great Friday evening dinner with four friends. The baked ocean platter was a great start together with the Nueske bacon steak and goat cheese and beet salad. We shared two ststeaks (one with "American waygu" NY strip the other a bone-in ribeye ) both were excellent but the "regular" bone-in rib eye was better. The mashed cauliflower was also a hit however the lyonaise potatoes were a bit overcooked. We shared one molten chocolate desert and it was lovely.
Terrible experience overall. Food was subpar for the price. Salad was just plain tomatoes with wilted lettuce! Decent steak but nothing you can't get for much much cheaper at Applebee's.
I don't understand how Morton's continues to stay in business with its ridiculously high prices and mediocre food. I ordered the beet and goat cheese salad which came out with 4 very thin slices of beets and a few tiny crumbles of goat cheese and some tired lettuce - for $13. And the fact that a single small piece of "grain fed" filet mignon is over $45 is just silly. Firstly, everyone knows these days that grass fed, not grain fed beef, is the best for health and taste. And secondly, the filet mignon was chewy, rather tough, and completely without flavor. And then to have the gall to charge $6 for any kind of sauce? The only good things about the meal were the hash browns and hot baked bread. But I can spend a lot less than $13 for a small plate of hash browns elsewhere. Will definitely never waste my money there again.
The steak was amazing and a perfect for Valentine’s Day. A little pricey but is good for a romantic dinner. Would come again for a special night.
Great meal on a Friday evening. They always take good care of you at this location. Food is always well prepared. Entrees always perfect. A little leftovers for breakfast the next day. We will return.
Wonderful dinner with friends! Great service and fabulously prepared food. The specials they have on wine are truly worthwhile.
Outstanding service from the moment we walked in the door. Our server, Antonio couldn't have been nicer, explained all options on the menu for "Restaurant Week" and very attentive to all our needs. Everyone's food courses were delicious. Highly recommend.
I expected the filet to melt in your mouth. It’s a steakhouse after all. But it was a little over cooked and chewy. Maybe because the restaurant week menu filet was smaller than they usually cook? Or it had to sit waiting until the server was free? Salad had almost no dressing. Potatoes and desert were great.
I came for Restaurant Week with friends, so that will discount my review a bit. The food was pretty good, but the service was below average. As soon as we mentioned "restaurant week" you could immediately tell that our server's demeanor and attitude changed. I get it, but it's just disappointing since this was our first time (all 4 of us) trying a Morton's. We almost always do Ruth's Chris for our nice steak dinners and decided to try Morton's for the restaurant week deal. The big bread roll was great, our filets were good, the sides were average. Initially were talking about maybe switching our annual Easter trip to Fogo or Ruth's Chris to Morton's, but after our meal, probably not. Why fix what ain't broke?
Service was outstanding. Antonio was our server and he was great. The food was good.
I took advantage of Washington Restaurant Week to take my son and two grandsons to dinner at Morton’s in Bethesda. We enjoyed an excellent dinner with good service. The restaurant was very busy, likely because of Restaurant Week, which meant longer waits than I would have preferred. But, as always, I enjoyed this restaurant near my home.
Amazing food and service! Celebrated a birthday with and we left extremely happy and satisfied.
The food was delicious. Our server Alexandra attended to the fine details and was exceptional!
Excellent food at good price. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Have been before but this night things were off. The service was extremely slow for getting entrees. We had to tell the management and then they offered desserts on them but we did not want dessert and it was late. To their credit they took off a bottle of wine and some other charges to make up for the service glitches. Not sure what the issue was as they were not full but obviously something went wrong with orders. Food ranged from good to ok.
Food was amazing! Lobster and steak were awesome! Nice for a date or special occasion as it is pricey but worth it. Server was great! They even helped us with a wine selection. I t was a nice night out for my daughter and I.
Fryer was broken and service was bad.
We were there for restaurant week. Big portions and great service. All the food was very good except for salads. Caesar salad was so overloaded with anchovies that it tasted fishy and house salad was bland, couldn’t really taste any blue cheese. The pork chop and chicken Christopher, the bread and the cream brûlée were all excellent. The waiter was great; friendly and prompt and really down to earth. We will definitely go back.
Good food would’ve loved just a little better service. We had to search for our server after a while
I left a message in advance that it was a birthday celebration for my son and it went unacknowledged. Otherwise, great experience!
I went during restaurant week so it was a good value. I don't think I'd go if I had to pay regular prices.
My date and I were running a little late for our reservation, we called ahead of time to let the restaurant know we were running about 30 minutes late and they were still able to accommodate us. We ended up not being as late as we thought we would but the host showed us over to the bar where we could enjoy a drink while waiting for our table. When we were seated our server was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. He was the perfect amount of attentive, allowing my date and I to enjoy our conversation and our dining experience. The food was delicious!
A stellar birthday dinner date, super meal & service. Add in restaurant week 👍🏼 everything down to your car waiting for you was perfect. Extra thanks to the staff for the birthday pic (printed)
Our party was there for restaurant week. We had to ask for the restaurant week menu . It turned out that all of the portions were downsized. Salad was a 1/2 portion, steak was 6 oz. rather than 8 oz., etc. The food was very good, but it was disappointing about the portions.
Our waiter must have been new as the service was much slower than it should have been.
The room is very dark. Better lighting is needed.
The food and overall dining experience was amazing.
We went without knowing that it was restaurant week. We started ordering a la carte and our waiter pointed out that the fixed price menu was a much better deal, and we folllowed his recommendation. I thought this was very decent of him. We had salads, filets and grilled asparagus, and everything was delicious.
Waiter was friendly and competent and even asked for our car from valet parking before we settled our bill so that we would not have to wait.
Only hitch was that the wine I wanted to order was not available but the substitute recommended was fine.
We ate at the bar and thought John the bartender was very attentive. Also when my steak was not cooked the way I ordered it, he was all on top of rectifying the situation asap. The entire staff was really good.
My wife and I enjoyed the restaurant week menu. Great meal at a great price. Check them out!
Took advantage of Bethesda restaurant week deal. Three delicious courses for only $35 and we were stuffed! I ordered the lobster bisque, Cajun seasoned filet mignon with mashed potatoes and a double chocolate mousse for dessert. Amazing. Our server Antonio was beyond charismatic and took great care of our group of 4. My only complaint is that it’s a bit too dark inside, but that didn’t stop us from enjoying every second of our visit. Would def recommend for a date night or special occasion.
Dined at Morton's for a small birthday celebration. It was restaurant week and we ordered off that menu but added an appetizer. There was good value with the restaurant week prices but wish they had a few more entree selections and a baked potato as an option. The regular price for the same size filet is overpriced since it is not accompanied by anything. The service was excellent and we would return just for that. There is free parking across the street at the Waverly garage on the weekends.
We went for resturant week. Our waiter Antonio was fantastic! The food was delicious! Definitely worth going for the $35 dinner !
Have dined several times but this was the best experience. The Cajun ribeye was superb, the porterhouse was succulent , absolutely magnificent. Slight draft in the area we sat in, but the evening was perfect!
That Manager, Todd, and his staff always makes us feel welcomed and the service is superb!.
We had a great dinner. The food was delicious and the service was wonderful. The only problem was that the temperature in the dining room was uncomfortably warm. We mentioned this to wait staff and manager, apparently the restaurants temperature is dictated by the hotel. We were uncomfortable, as were other diners. For that reason, I might not go back to this Morton's but would choose another location.
My boyfriend had a wonderful birthday dinner . Everyone There was extremely helpful and made it a wonderful night ❤️
Main course arrived stone cold, staff were unattentative. After I sent it back, the waitress said no problem we will reheat it. The scallops came back like leather. the steak cold again on the inside.
What a shadow of its former self, when servers would presents cuts to select from, a platter. Three people behind the kitchen counter (and not one of them capable of cooking a dish without it getting cold. There were six or seven tables in all. How pathetic. Even after sending back my entree and the server complaining the maitre d asked me Ïf everything was OK"
Avoid like the plague. The servers should spend less time chatting amongst themselves and SERVE
