Cajun Ribeye Steak
Food was great, everything was great up until the dessert. We told the waiter we did not want a dessert but we was very forceful and kept asking. Instead of coming back with the check he came back with a crème brule for our anniversary so he said. But then charged us for the dessert we didn't ask for and also thought was complementary. Disappointed in this.
It was a great experience.
Morton’s is a wonderful place to celebrate a special occasion. Ed, our server, provided excellent service and the personalized menu and complimentary birthday dessert were a great touch. And the food was outstanding as always!
My wife and I went to Morton's for our 20th anniversary, having also gone there for our 10th. As they do for everyone, the staff made our event feel unique, with "Anniversary Menus", which the gave us to take home as souvenirs. The service was superb, and the food first rate - save for the sauteed Brussells Sprouts, which were somewhat hard and bitter, and which were removed from our bill.
You will never feel like you are the center of attention, though you will be attended to without having to get anyone's attention. The staff strives to ensure you are enjoying your visit and your meal, and they always do.
We'll probably be back before our 30th anniversary :-).
I love the waiter that helped us he was so kind went over the menu and made us feel comfortable. The food was delicious. It was a great anniversary dinner.
We celebrated my husband birthday it was our first time and the food and service was really great..
Food was great and our waiter John was very helpful and friendly.
I had the filet mignon and it was the best I have ever had (in 76 years)!
Loved the mashed potatoes and the cauliflower dish.
Will definitely be back for more.
First visit Morton’s in 3 years. Totally disappointing .
Prices sky high! Steak good very pricey . Atmosphere
Lacking. Certainly changed over the years .
Don’t think I would go there again . Sad as it used to be a favorite😭
This Morton’s is terrible. I have been a Morton’s fan for years. It’s over. Service is basically Olive Garden. Goto the palm. Tried to give me strawberries as a gift because service was so terrible.
The dinner was prompt! Service was excellent! No problems!
Overpriced. Food mediocre. Soup runny and barely warm. Waiter very very nice but service very slow.
Great mothers day dinner, steak perfect as always and cocktails were superb! Their " Legendary " molten cake was awesome.
It was a different experience this time as opposed to three weeks ago. We were there to celebrate Mother’s Day. My mom enjoyed being there so much just a few weeks prior, she begged us to come back. It seems that the hostess stand was quite rude and dismissive to my parents, when they arrived.
It was disappointing to hear this once I got there, and it was almost to the point where we were just going to dine elsewhere. She decided that staying is what she truly wanted and she was able to enjoy her evening.
Server was great.
Food was good.
Very nice evening in for a change.
Food was good. When asked about salmon head chef was happy to accommodate where the cook fell
Exceptional customer service
We usually come here often for the lobster Mac and cheese which is beautiful every time. This time however, I felt as though the noodles were a little tough. So I bring it to my waiters attention, he then goes to say “well what do you want me to do with it? I can’t tell the noodles are hard just by looking at it”. It seems as though he took offense to something that had nothing to do with him. I proceed to tell the manager about my experience with the food and waiter. Thank God for the manager because for the rest of my experience the waiter completely disregarded us and never came back to our table to see if we needed anything else nor even looked in our direction again. That was completely unprofessional.
Had a wonderful time! We celebrated in style snd the staff made us feel special!
As always Morton’s did not disappoint. Food was great and atmosphere was just right. Will continue to come as our expectations are always met.
We had a wonderful evening at Morton's. Our server, Rebecca, was friendly and attentive, and made our meal time outstanding.
While the food was great, “outside dining” was in the parking lot / driveway in front of the Hyatt Regency. It was surprising, and quite frankly embarrassing, this was the dining experience I reserved for my business associates.
Make it a special occasion, go to Morton’s, live well !
Our server was excellent & knowledgeable. The food was superb!
I think it was excellent- great server, attentive team, and well they couldn’t help the ambience score bc we opted to sit outside of the restaurant in the hotel lobby as a COVID precaution.
Here was my error, I went to a steakhouse and ordered fish for my Mom, I had the pork chop and my husband and dad had steak- the porterhouse to be specific. My mother and I both ate off of their plates! Oh, I never knew I needed blue cheese butter on a steak. The fish was fine, the pork chop fine... but the steak was divine.
Also, we had amazing sides- the potato gratin I could have had a barrel of, I didn’t know I needed Parmesan truffle fries with a steak because I scoffed at that being a requested side by the men, and then the asparagus was ordered as the one obligatory green side- but we ended up fighting over that.
Finally, the desert... that AMAAAHZING key lime pie... I don’t like keys, limes, or pies— but I would swing by just to pick that up...and the cheesecake with the brûlée top... we were so full and took these home.... we were ooohing and aaaahing the entire late night- just trading small plates.
If there was anything underwhelming.. it was the bread. They were so proud presenting this onion or garlic shareable ball...and it looked like it was going to be a starting hit... no. But guess what—- we didn’t fill up on bread! My visiting parents have asked that this be a tradition, but I intend to make this my celebratory spot! Between drinks, food, desert, tip-the bill was $340. Don’t come here if you’re counting dollars— there’s no way you’re not spending between $60-100 per person including tip.
Good food !
Attended for my mother's birthday. The service was great, staff was friendly but the food was awful.
I ordered a 6oz filet and my mother ordered the prime rib. The prime rib was very charred and the filet lacked flavor. We both shared potatoes au gratin and creamed spinach and they were awful as well.
I will never eat here again.
Ate here for my birthday dinner. It was AMAZING. The food, the service, the ambiance. Sides are family style-and three were more than enough for my party of four. Felt safe with tables safely distanced. Bobby is the best!
Birthday celebration for my son. Food excellent. They comped his dessert. Felt safe, with widely spaced tables.
Our only disappointment was that we were not able to order the Grand Marnier souffle that we love so much. It was the main reason that we went there for my husband's birthday. The service was wonderful and the filet mignons were like butter!
So happy we chose this restaurant for our first dining out experience in over a year!
Great restaurant, great food and service. This place is a must go to restaurant.
Always amazing. Bought my children for the first time. They enjoyed everything. Managers and servers were very polite and welcoming.
Excellent service & food.
Great service but steak was a bit over cooked. All else was good. Thanks.
The place was excellent. I plan to go back again.
Excellent service.. food cooked as requested. Mgrs visited often to see things were ... Server/Hostess experience was good
The stakes were perfect
Great service! My steak was a little fatty but good.
Morton's Bethesda is by far the best steak house you can find. From the hostess to the chef! The food, the service, you can't beat it!
The service and food were wonderful!
