Had a wonderful date night, the steak was awesome, but the mashed potatoes weren’t worth the wait. In future I would choose another side, but over all a great meal!
The food was to Morton's excellent standards, but for some reason, and it was not crowded, the service was extremely slow. We had 6:30p reservations and did not leave until 10:30p.
Food was good, however I was very underwhelmed by the steak, filet mignon (and remember this is a steakhouse). Lobster bisque was great and salmon was pretty good. Very expensive for what you get though!
The food took long and and it was cold when we got it some people didn’t get there Appetizer or desert the waiter was rude.
Service was awful for Restaurant week. Slow and not attentive.
Food was great; however, it was negated by the poor service. The wait staff gave little to no interaction. It took 3.5 hours to complete our meal because it took about 45 minutes for each course to come out. The restaurant was not busy enough to warrant such a long wait as there were plenty of empty seats. I will never come back to spend money on fine dining at a restaurant that clearly lacks in service.
Had a very special friend meeting with old friend. Morton’s staff General Manager Sam Sara, Asst General Manager Patrick McCormick, and our favorite server Kristn took such good care of us! Thanks Morton’s The Steakhouse of Baltimore. Danny Moffett.
Went during restaurant week had a great time, food was good and good atmosphere would definitely return.
Great service, but food was mixed. Steaks were excellent. We had two appetizers: the tuna tacos were just ok, but the prosciutto wrapped mozzarella was great. The beet salad was so so to me, but my wife liked it , and the sea bass was excellent. Dessert soufflé was disappointing, though.
Great Food, good people. Waitress very nice, but I think she had a lot of tables, so service was a little slow. I'll definitely go back, but for special occasions only. Bit pricey but expected that going in. Worth the money because the food is superb!
Extremely overpriced food not that good 45.00 for a 6 ounce filet Mignon not worth eating I’d never go back
It was great! The short ribs, lobster Mac cheese both awesome! Pass on the carrot cake it has coconut in it.
2nd year we've brought our mother to celebrate her birthday and she loved it!!! Our waist staff was top notch.
Steaks were great would have been better with the wine we ordered. Bartender had issues with new dispensing system.
Sam, the GM, during dessert asked if anything could have been better. We told him, “No, everything’s perfect (i.e., the filet, NY strip, horseradish mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, onion soup, house chopped salad, Grand Marnier and raspberry soufflés, wine, and onion loaf of bread).
The next day I thought again about the meal. I’ve frequently eaten at Morton’s restaurants since 2001. This one, since it’s closest to where I live, and in five states for business and pleasure. This meal was the best I can recall—the textures and flavors; pacing and presentation; the service as well as management ensuring a great dining experience; and the wine service. I asked my date if anything during the dinner could be improved upon. She reflected and said, “No. Every serving and the wine was perfect.”
Sam, who is also a sommelier, provided superb insight and advice after two Malbecs disappointed. The wine we selected perfectly complemented the meal.
