Celebrated birthday with a friend and service was impeccable from start to finish!
Everett eating at Morton's in California and in Arizona both outstanding restaurants this one leave very little to be desired
We always enjoy Morton's and it's our go too for special events. We know what we want and we always get a meal that is consistently delicious. Service is spot on and we appreciate that the mark the event with taking our picture and giving it to us as a memento.
Our steaks were not prepared as ordered and needed to be redone. The salads were served at the same time as the steak. When we expressed that we wanted the salad before the steak, our server said that's the way we do it here, salad with the steak. We declined the salads and they said they would take it off of the check. That didn't happen and we had to speak to the manager. The server brought the wrong beer and said the bartender recommended it. Very poor service and Ok food at a high price
This place was simply wonderful! The food was phenomenal and the service absolutely top notch. We were in town for a conference and decided to have dinner there because the weather was terrible and it was right in our hotel. We were also celebrating the birthday of a new friend. Our waitress and the whole staff treated us as though we were royalty and even brought out a special dessert with a candle in it to help us celebrate. The night came complete with a framed Happy Birthday photo that was signed by all the staff people! We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you, Morton's!! We truly enjoyed our dinner!
Exceptional food and service. Always a pleasure.
The Spicy Ribeye is a must!
Great place to dine! I took the my husband to dinner for his birthday, and he absolutely loved it. His birthday was also acknowledged on the menu (nice touch). My husband recieved a complimentary dessert of his choice which was also nice, along with a picture of he and I to remember the moment.
Thanks so much! 😉
All I can really say is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! The food was phenomenal and the ambiance was beautiful and and intimate. I wouldn’t change a thing.
The food was good. The prices were slightly elevated compared to other fine dining steak restaurants in the waiter was very knowledge and very pleasant however the service was extremely slow. This included the time it took to get a drink as well as the time it took to get out food courses. Possibly being in the corner, they forgot us. We will not be going back.
Food and service were not up to par. We spent a lot of money for a great date night out, and it wasn't worth it at all.
It was wonderful! We will be back!
Steak was cooked well when asked for medium pink middle. Cesar salad had goat cheese taste so I’m thinking cross over with cooking ingredients may have happened. Food was well seasoned and big portions. My second time here but I would return. Not my first choice restaurant.
Veal was a little fatty and creamed spinach sort of watery but overall a delicious meal. A little disappointed to see people wearing sweatshirts to an expensive restaurant; perhaps enforce a reasonable dress code to match the prices.
I've been to this place a couple of times in the past 2 months. First time, the kitchen got my steak order wrong, so while they re-did my order. I was pleased with the steak that the server returned with. Overall, first time at Morton's was OK.
2nd time, service was very slow. There with a large group, server missed at least 2 opportunities to take drink orders. I wanted my steak cooked medium. The edges of my steak were burnt (not charred, but burnt) and half of it was well done, with the other half being medium. Flavor of the steak was good. Overall, another OK experience.
I will give them another try, since the restaurant is located very conveniently to the hotel at which my guests stay.
Food was pretty good, but overpriced and the ambiance is seriously outdated. There are much better places for steak in Baltimore.
Had a wonderful meal at Morton's - our go-to restaurant for special occasions! We had great service from Mustafa and Brandon. Our meal was wonderful - onion soup, Morton's salad, filet, NY strip. Yum!
Love Morton’s! Which we knew how to cut the bread tho🤣! We definitely love the food and the service. Wish we could go more. This was our first time at the Baltimore location and we enjoyed ourselves!
My steak and my boyfriend's steak was not cooked to medium as requested. And I don't normally send food back, but it was so dry that we both had to. The second time around, my boyfriend's steak was great, but mine was still a little overdone and a bit dry.
It was my 3rd time dining at Morton's and my boyfriend's first. I explained that my other experiences were good. However he is convinced he won't eat there again. :(
The service was amazing! From valet, coat check, management and our waiter, Tyler.
If you haven’t dined here, you must check this place out.
Service was top tier phenomenal!
It was Restaurant Week and the food, service, staff all great. Our waiter Frantz was awesome and the GM, (Sam?, sorry, I’m half deaf😂) was very nice and very attentive. Great night out!
We had a wonderful time, excellent service.
We love this place. Before we even ask its brought to us. The staff does a fantastic job making sure everything is right.
Had a wonderful date night, the steak was awesome, but the mashed potatoes weren’t worth the wait. In future I would choose another side, but over all a great meal!
The food was to Morton's excellent standards, but for some reason, and it was not crowded, the service was extremely slow. We had 6:30p reservations and did not leave until 10:30p.
Food was good, however I was very underwhelmed by the steak, filet mignon (and remember this is a steakhouse). Lobster bisque was great and salmon was pretty good. Very expensive for what you get though!
The food took long and and it was cold when we got it some people didn’t get there Appetizer or desert the waiter was rude.
Service was awful for Restaurant week. Slow and not attentive.
Food was great; however, it was negated by the poor service. The wait staff gave little to no interaction. It took 3.5 hours to complete our meal because it took about 45 minutes for each course to come out. The restaurant was not busy enough to warrant such a long wait as there were plenty of empty seats. I will never come back to spend money on fine dining at a restaurant that clearly lacks in service.
Had a very special friend meeting with old friend. Morton’s staff General Manager Sam Sara, Asst General Manager Patrick McCormick, and our favorite server Kristn took such good care of us! Thanks Morton’s The Steakhouse of Baltimore. Danny Moffett.
Went during restaurant week had a great time, food was good and good atmosphere would definitely return.
Great service, but food was mixed. Steaks were excellent. We had two appetizers: the tuna tacos were just ok, but the prosciutto wrapped mozzarella was great. The beet salad was so so to me, but my wife liked it , and the sea bass was excellent. Dessert soufflé was disappointing, though.
Great Food, good people. Waitress very nice, but I think she had a lot of tables, so service was a little slow. I'll definitely go back, but for special occasions only. Bit pricey but expected that going in. Worth the money because the food is superb!
Extremely overpriced food not that good 45.00 for a 6 ounce filet Mignon not worth eating I’d never go back
It was great! The short ribs, lobster Mac cheese both awesome! Pass on the carrot cake it has coconut in it.
2nd year we've brought our mother to celebrate her birthday and she loved it!!! Our waist staff was top notch.
Steaks were great would have been better with the wine we ordered. Bartender had issues with new dispensing system.
Sam, the GM, during dessert asked if anything could have been better. We told him, “No, everything’s perfect (i.e., the filet, NY strip, horseradish mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, onion soup, house chopped salad, Grand Marnier and raspberry soufflés, wine, and onion loaf of bread).
The next day I thought again about the meal. I’ve frequently eaten at Morton’s restaurants since 2001. This one, since it’s closest to where I live, and in five states for business and pleasure. This meal was the best I can recall—the textures and flavors; pacing and presentation; the service as well as management ensuring a great dining experience; and the wine service. I asked my date if anything during the dinner could be improved upon. She reflected and said, “No. Every serving and the wine was perfect.”
Sam, who is also a sommelier, provided superb insight and advice after two Malbecs disappointed. The wine we selected perfectly complemented the meal.
Fabulous food and service
We enjoyed our date night with all of our favorite people. We look forward to our annual New Years Celebration with 2 grandkids, plus my 70 Birthday! We always have a good time. Thanks Morton’s General Manager Sam Sara and Executive Chef MJ for making our visit special. Danny and Elaine Moffett
