Morton's The Steakhouse - Baltimore

Always a great place to celebrate a special occasion!
A bit pricey
Wonderful food and wonderful staff and the Manager, Patrick, was beyond nice. Will be back very soon!
Since Landry's took over the Morton's brand, everything about this restaurant brand has gone downhill from the quality and portions of the food to the service. Being a long time Morton's VIP no longer means anything and I'm consistently disappointed in the experience. I've decided to finally cut the cord.
A real steak house with a Capital S!!!
From the moment you enter until you have to leave, you are transported to an era that is hard to find anymore.
Elegant but friendly service.
Every detail noticed. Right down to the special Happy Birthday on the menu and complementary birthday photo.
And then there is the food.
Outstanding is the word.
Great service! Excellent food & ambiance
Service was perfunctory. Prices were high and portions, small. Nothing more need be said.
Another excellent steak dinner here. Can’t really qualify it as a good “value” as it’s a high-end steakhouse. Pricey wine and food just like Ruth’s Chris, Prime Rib, etc. Definitely on par with any of these places. Friendly staff. Relaxed atmosphere. What is nice about Morton's is that you are not sitting on top of the people around you as in the Prime Rib or Capital Grill. Really a great rsteakhouse all around.
I enjoyed the evening but at this price point I have to hold the restaurant to a higher level. The waiter was a lil pushy and rushed us to order. I would have liked to hear some more info on the selections and new items. I had to say I noticed something new and he just acknowledged it and did not elaborate. We had to ask for bread also. Someone should also check in with valet. They just sat there no one opened my wife's door it was just everyone for themselves as 4 cars pulled up
Everything was amazing at Morton’s. The only flaw if you can call it that was the wait staff was crazy busy so there were stretches were our table was forgotten about other than that it was a great meal and dining experience.
Food and Service was top notch!
My steak was cooked perfect but serving temperature could have been a little bit warmer
Server was great up til the food order. After the dinner order, she forgot about us
The food was absolutely fantastic
Very good food and excellent service. Very enjoyable time.
Service excellent BUT steak (Filet medium) was cold and had NO flavor. There is NO steak worth these prices! The worst part was we were there dinner at 6pm and they RAN OUT IF BAKED POTATOES!!!!!! How do you run out if baked potatoes at 6pm in the evening on a Saturday night? Given bread to start, must like onions or you are out of luck. I like onions and it was still not very good. Just not worth the money at all.
Amazing experience and excellent service! The staff was really helpful for this birthday celebration. The host even offered us a picture and put it into a special hand drawn frame. I will definitely be back.
Great steak and great appetizers. Cooked to order to your satisfaction. Very quiet and peaceful.
The food and staff where great. I went there for my birthday and received the best service. My server Moose was awesome and attentive. I met the manager and he asked did we needed anything. I cant wait to go back.
Came here for restaurant week. Our server EJ was nice. Our meal was mediocre however. The bread though soft was missing flavor. The Ceasar salad and lobster bisque was bland. The steak was average and the chicken Christopher was was a little short on flavor as well. Overall the experience was not worth the price. My recommendation is to put a little more work into the flavor especially for a restaurant with $$ prices.
It had about a year since we had been to Mortons, but for $100 per person it has become not the quality one would expect.
We waited for a table about 20 minutes with a reservation, the server did not write down one of the person's soups so they were just waiting for it to come out. Order a bottle of wine which they apparently ran out of and the server did not say so and again just waiting. Food took too long to be served between courses and was salty.
There was a party going on with people going in and out of the party room next to our table throughout. It took a long tome for the valet to get our car. For the price it was not a high quality experience.
We had to wait 20 minutes with a reservation and were unable to order a bottle of champagne at the bar while we were waiting. The bartenders were slammed and did not notice us standing there waiting for service. Not the end of the works but we were there to celebrate.
The meal was delicious but we had to cancel an appetizer of grilled oysters which weren’t ready until our meals came. Our first bottle of wine requested was sold out but our second choice was great!
Overall a wonderful experience and fabulous deal for Restaurant week!
Great . Enjoyed it
Food was great. Service was mediocre, we had finished eating and our empty plates sat on the table for at least 20 minutes as we were watching other tables getting cleared immediately. Our waitress was not as attentive to our table of 6 as she was to smaller tables. We believe it was because the gratuity was included with our check and not the smaller tables.
Fantastic, always a fan of Morton’s.
Brendan was a great server. He knew how I wanted to be waited on and handled it to my high standards.
The bartender was also a great joy. I truly appreciated her. Though the steaks were over cooked, it was still a great meal.
Was my bday, I don’t understand why open table asking for the ocasión, because in the restaurant didn’t care about it, any detail anything.
This was a very nice dining experience. This was our first time at a Morton’s but certainly won’t be our last. I got the filet and my husband got the pork chop. Both were great and cooked perfectly. The potatoes were just okay but the hot chocolate cake was delicious! We’ll definitely go again.
Service was good. The mashed potatoes were dry and chunky. The filet was cold. The broccoli wasn’t presented well. This definitely wasn’t an experience that I’m used to here.
Very good food. VERY poor service. Very bad waiter. Pretty much ignored us after talking our order.
Tried to reach out to the manager the next day, but my call was not returned.
Not sure if we’re going back.
Service was a tag team experience. Too many servers and little attentiveness and follow-through.
Solid meal at Morton's. Food was fantastic from start to finish, albeit at a premium price. Service was good but our server seemed to disappear for long periods of time; she also forgot to ask us to put the valet parking on the check. Music was too loud in the bar and inappropriate for the atmosphere of the place, but the overall atmosphere of the dining room is outstanding - my favorite of the Baltimore steak houses.
I loved the food. The waiter did a good job. The atmosphere was really nice
Thanks to Restaurant Week, and to Mortons, it was an amazing value. Without this, prices unbelievably high.
This is the first time I'd eaten at Morton's and they went above and beyond my expectations. The food was delicious, and the ambiance was wonderful. There were 6 at our table, and we could hear each other speak across the table. It was such a wonderful evening!
Food was good but needed a hotter serving temperature; service was a bit slow.
Another great meal at Morton's! Our servers, Marcus and Christa, were excellent. Our family ordered from the Baltimore Restaurant Week menu which was a great cross-section of Morton's regular menu which is not the case for a lot of other upscale restaurants that participate in restaurant week. All of the food was excellently prepared!
Very loud. Doesn’t hold a candle to any Ruth’s Chris I’ve been too. Service was excellent, but ambiance was loud like a maggianos. And the food was good but nothing great considering its $60 for a steak. Longhorn does steak as well or better.
The best steakhouse in Baltimore. The service is outstanding and Sam Sara the GM oversees a well oiled team. Michael Jackson the Executive Chef prepares the steaks the way you want them the first time.
We will return again and again
Thanks''Sam and MJ for a great night
Had reservations for 2 for New Year's Eve dinner. We were seated 1/2 hour late however, the staff was very attentive. Ordered lobster bisque which was thin, lacked flavor and contained one small sliver of lobster followed by the salmon dinner which was delicious and soufflé with wasn't very tasty at all. If you are looking for a quality meal for a special occasion, I recommend Oceanaire Seafood Room or Capital Grille. This is a perfect restaurant for a business meeting or quick stop before or after the theatre not a special occasion.
