Morton’s is a great celebrate any occasion. We were celebrating a birthday and they not only customized the menu to wish her a happy birthday, they took a group picture and gave all of us copies. Needless to say, this was greatly appreciated. The food was excellent with a wide range of choices. They even called the next day to make sure we were happy with our meal and their service. Awesome customer experience.
We had a wonderful meal. My husband ordered the 8oz. filet and I had the 6oz. with the Oscar add-on, which is chunk crab, asparagus, and béarnaise sauce. Both steaks were wonderful! Our server was Vinnie and he was tremendous. For dessert we had the key lime pie. It was a bit denser than the usual key lime pie, but it was still very good.
We came here to celebrate our anniversary. Our food was just delicious. Obviously, a great selection of superb meat entrees but our salads and desert were exceptional as well. Cannot say enough about how well the staff treated us, especially after learning it was our anniversary. We left with a signed card and a picture to commemorate our time. Just a wonderful experience and meal; will definitely come back
Dinner was great as usual. We had the special appetizer bacon and it was delicious. The cauliflower mashed is in season and we always order that when it is on the menu Drinks are big and delicious. I had chicken , my husband had surf and turf, both my mom and dad had shrimp over pasta. All were very good. No room for desert.
Joanne , one of the managers is one of our fsavorites and we had Sarah as a server who we enjoyed also. She has a handle on the serving sizes and what the dish contains. Everything was wonderful. See you for Christmas
I️ can not say enough wonderful things about Morton’s! This was our five year anniversary and they made it memorable from the personalized menus to a photograph. The filet mignon melted in your mouth. My husband had the lobster and was the best we’ve ever had. Sarah was our server and she was hands down nothing short of fantastic. They met all of my requests and then some. We couldn’t have left more pleased! I️ recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone. Thank you to all of the staff for taking the time to make our night phenomenal!
We went to Morton’s Atlantic City! What separates great from good is attention to detail and this establishment accomplished just that. I made reservations and indicated it was our anniversary. When we entered the hostess gracefully greeted us with Happy Anniversary. Our waitress was amazing and the food was awesome. The staff even took our pic and gave us a signed card. Morton’s gave us a free dessert and offered nothing but great service and made our special night a memorial positive one!!
This was our second time visiting this particular Morton's, and we loved it both times. The service is always paced perfectly for the event that is a dinner at Morton's. The food was phenomenal. Oddly, the Cajun ribeye I ordered just wasn't a good cut of meat. I was surprised, because everything else I have ever had at any Morton's has been spot-on. I tried the filet as well, and it was fabulous. I didn't mention the ribeye quality, because by then, I was too full to eat it anyway, so the point was moot. However, everything else was simply out-of-this-world!
This was an unfortunate experience. To be fair the service was excellent. We ordered the cold seafood appetizer for two and we each received one oyster, one piece of lobster, one shrimp, a small amount of lobster and crab. With the exception of the oyster, the seafood was tasteless and quite expensive for the experience. We also had the crab bisque which had a good flavor but was very thin and runny. We shared a bone in filet with was very fatty. The mashed potatoes were fabulous. In summary - not going back. I expect it to be expensive but the expense was not in keeping with the quality of the food.
I booked this restaurant through Open Table and mentioned we were celebrating our anniversary that night. When we checked in we were greeted warmly and offered wishes for a Happy Anniversary by virtually everyone who came to our table. Nice touch.
Now about the food. We shared a shrimp cocktail that was amazing. Fresh gigantic swimmers alongside a killer cocktail sauce. The Morton salad (also shared) was served on separate plates. To me that always says we don't mind you sharing. It was excellent. The steaks were the reason we came and they did not disappoint. My wife had a bone in fillet mignon (never heard of that)and I had a ribeye. Both cooked perfectly and sooo tender. You can buy the same piece of meat but without a steakhouse oven, you could never achieve that taste.
We finished the meal with a gran marinier (sp?)soufflé and found they did not charge us because of our celebration. A photographer came to our table and presented us with a complimentary photo as well.
Never rushed, friendly service and great food. This is what you expect at a high end establishment.
The general manager stopped by to make sure everything was satisfactory as well. Truly exceeded our expectations.
This was my first experience with Morton's Atlantic City. On recommendation of a friend, I had joined Landry's Select Club and dove into Morton's AC.
I ordered 4 of the 5 Seasonal Selections featured on special promotional table card, so I could enjoy "sample amounts" onsite and take the rest back to my Caesar's AC refrigerator/freezer for my 5-night stay. I "sample" because, when traveling, I always choose my dessert first, and then plan other meal items, and finally eat dinner toward the culminating end of enjoying the meal-capping arrival of that sweet pleasure.
The Seasonal Selections gifted me with a stunning combination of tastes and sensations: Nueske's BaconSteak appetizer (tender thick bacon slabs, crispy outsides, and sweet honey-bourbon glaze); Beet & Goat Cheese Salad (red AND GOLD beets, mixed greens including my favorite arugula, creamy goat cheese crumbles, candied walnuts, and honey-balsamic vinaigrette); 14 oz. Bone-In Filet Mignon (beyond tender with a requested temperature of medium well achieved perfectly--exceptional!); and Truffle Cauliflower Mash (creamy cauliflower pureed with black truffles and parmesan cheese). I added a menu-listed side dish of Sauteed Brussels Sprouts.
DESSERT! My eyes widened and widened as magnificent SERVER NICHOLAS slowly approached with a creation of such size and composition that it had commanded the moniker of "LEGENDARY SUNDAE"! Mountains of Haagen Daz ice cream, clouds of whipped cream, drizzles of chocolate, swirls of caramel--just to start with. My Caesar's AC freezer came in handy indeed!
This dinner was so unbelievably GOOD, I've already made two separate dinner reservations for my November Caesar's AC trip, including the special Farm to Bottle Whistle Pig Whiskey Dinner. Can't wait!

My wife and I have been to many fine steakhouses in the past, Morton's among them. Although we had a reservation and arrived on time, there seemed to be some confusion with the hostess and the young lady who sat us. With many empty tables available we were directed to the rear of the restaurant by the kitchen, where waiters and waitresses we're stationed and picking up orders. We immediately requested to be seated somewhere else and were accommodated. The staff seemed to be distracted throughout our meal as I did not receive the dessert I ordered. Steaks we're cooked perfectly but overall the experience was not a good one.
Thought the food was good not exceptional and felt it was way over priced. I can get the same menu great tasting food and pay far less as I shall going forward did not really enjoy the experience and it was for my birthday ugh sorry won't be returning or recommending my friends and family
I was really looking forward to enjoying dinner at Morton’s Steak House in Atlantic City but that wasn’t the case. The waitress was not very nice to us at all. She never came back to the table to check on us while we were eating but we noticed she did that for others. The food was cold when we got it at the table. The steak that we requested to be well done was very pink. The grilled shrimp were cold and the bacon was not properly cooked on the scallops. We were very disappointed with this being our first time there. We needed to be at a comedy show at 8pm and didn’t have time to wait for new food to be prepared. I really wanted to like the Restaraunt.
Our server was very thorough in explaining the dishes ance answering questions. I did whisper to her that I wad celebrating my brothers birthday and wanted the dessert to be a surprise, however, the photographer came over before the appetizers came out to ask if we wanted to take a birthday picture. Spoiled it a bit but everything else was great.
My wife and I went to Morton's for our 16th wedding anniversary. We were greeted promptly and warmly by the entire staff and immediately seated. We were pleased to see a Happy Anniversary wish on our menu and were asked to pose for a complimentary photo. After that we dined on a delicious meal in a romantic setting surrounded by others who were also celebrating special occasions. The meal was pricey but the experience, food taste and quality and smile on my wife's face made it worth it. We will definitely be back.
We walked in @830pm for our reservation when I greeted the hostess. I'm afraid to say that the hostess didn't do the same, instead said that I have to wait in for 10 min. !I use a cain to get around and I'm surprise that she didn't even offer me a seat while asking to wait..) Which I happily replied that I will come back in 10 min. instead. I come back @1040pm and now she's telling me that I again have to wait 10min because there is a couple ahead of us.. I asked why is that when we have a reservation? She replied by saying "It's not ready have a sit at the bar!" The way she spoke and not even looking at us while speaking was so disrespectful with her arms across her chest. We had to ask for a manager which was at the time Kelsea was there as well. Kelsey apologize and took us to our table and mentioned she will take care of something in our bill. Which she did the appetizer and my guests dessert for her birthday. Our total time at this restaurant was based on waiting for a total of 2 hrs. Lots of waiting for our order from beginning to finish. This was in a Tuesday night and there were plenty of tables available... Nobody came to ask how was our meal.. which was very odd for a restaurant of this caliber. This was our second time at this restaurant and I must say never again! We will go elsewhere when we go to Atlantic City! I
Must say our first visit here was on a Saturday, Memorial weekend of this yr. which was much more busier and we were sat and served in 1 hr. Also had a pleasant server named Maria! 😊
The meal and service exceeded my expectations. Our jumbo shrimp and bacon wrapped scallop appetizers were succulent. The lobster bisque and five (5) cheese soups were flavorful and delicious. The salads were of sufficient size and were split on separate plates,before serving, for those who desired to share. The meat of this review involves the ribeye and filet mignon entrees. Each were cooked to perfection and my medium rare ribeye melted in my mouth. It was my birthday and the staff took pictures of our table and provided them as souvenirs. I will definitely visit Morton's again in the near future.
