First time visiting during Happy Hour in the bar. The bartender was attentive, made great food and drink recommendations. Delicious food, great drinks and excellent value. We'll be back
Excellent food in a nice atmosphere, would absolutely recommend to go there. Especially when you like to eat a good steak.
I had a great dinning experience at Morton's. The service and food were both excellent. The manager and assistant manager came by to welcome me to the establishment and to see if they could make my dinning experience even more enjoyable than it already was.

Celebrated my daughter’s 16th birthday. Mr James was our server and he was awesome. The food was delicious. Wonderful evening and experience.
Morton’s consistently serves the best steak. Daniel was the best waiter in a long time, did not interrupt, was attentive, and respectful. The maitre d’ is a great guy. I have been dining and enertaining at Morton’s crystal city for 15 years and highly recommend it.
Steak was not prime in my opinion.

It took too long to receive our food.
For a place that claims to be a steakhouse, our steaks were overcooked (ordered MR-R) Sent them back only to have them well done. Told server, he rolled his eyes and walked away. Returned with new steaks that were cooked semi close to what we asked for. No apologies. The people next to us said their steaks were over cooked but didn’t want to wait for new ones. Spoke with a manager and he didn’t care. Offered free apps and dessert. No thanks.
Had reservations - arrived early - was seated 15 minutes past reservation time. Slow service - A late dinner - turned into a very late dinner.
Don’t go on a holiday! My reservation was for 7:45 wasn’t seated until 8:30.
Set reservation a month ago. Room was packed like sardines, we ordered and after an hour, still no food. Manager could care less and Valentine's was ruined as we left. We will never go sgain.
My wife and I had saved up for a romantic vday dinner and were sorely disappointed with both the service and food.
For starters the steaks weren’t seared and cold.adding insult to injury the forgot to bring out the fries. They finally came out after asking twice and after we consumed the main course. To their credit they didn’t charge us for the fries but still not acceptable.
Our waiter although polite rarely checked on us or asked how we were doing or if we needed anything despite waiting one hour for the main course to arrive.
Overall it was a very disappointing experience. We felt completely ripped off and will never return to Morton’s in the future.
The waitress told us she was going to “re-knife” our table about 15 minutes into us sitting down. Twenty minutes later our entrees came out and we had no knives. We had to ask a busboy for knives. We had to ask for refils on our drinks several times and then waited 10 minutes for our bill and had to walk around looking for waitress.
Also the valet had informed us we could pay for valet with our meal. The waitress said we were wrong and had to have cash for them. After a 15 minute ordeal they rung us up for an extra $6.00 charge for valet
VALENTINE’S Day... overall ok but food took very long to arrive at the table. Filet not cooked as ordered. Waiter was nice but he was very busy and this minimized his ability to give us good service.

Super slow. Valentine's Day dinner took almost 3 hours and we ordered within 20 minutes of sitting down. Avoided dessert and everything just to be able to leave.
We made reservations for Valentine's Day dinner - glad we did because even at 6:00 the place was pretty full and packed within 30 minutes. The entrees were wonderful; NY strip steak for me – cooked exactly as I had requested and very tasty; Mrs – huge shrimp and pasta, excellent. The service was excellent, very attentive without being overdone. We really enjoy dining here for special occasions.
We waited for almost 90 minutes for our food. My husband's steak came out well done and it was supposed to be rare. Had to be sent back. More time. Not prepared for Valentine's Day at all in the kitchen. Our server was outstanding. The manager was called over and we didn't get offered dessert, credit or anything. Very disappointing
I thought overall it was good.Filet was priced a little high at $56.I was really disappointed with the portion size of the key lime pie at $12.50 the piece was very small.
Classic surf-n-turf style restauraunt with tasty quality ingredients (delicious filet mignon), beautiful ambience and A++ service. We had a lovely petite syrah that we were able to carry out (along with the delicious onion bread) . We will definitely go back.

The overall experience was less than I expected. The ambiance was nice, but everything else was just ok. For a restaurant in this price range you should get more. The server although pleasant wasn't attentive. We waited about 30 minutes for our entrées and had to flag down the server to inquire. Miraculously we were the next table. When the meal arrived my NY Strip was well done, and I asked for medium. The manager was summoned and the issue was corrected, albeit 10 minutes later. The steak came out perfect the second go around. We were sitting near the kitchen and could overhear obvious issues happening with a chef. It was uncomfortable. The beginning of the evening was nice with personalized menus and ended well with a commerative picture; it was the middle that should have been better.
Pork chops, steak and dessert were all excellent! We went for restaurant week, expecting the portions to be smaller, but they weren't, so I had a nice lunch the next day too!

Salad had absolutely no flavor even with bleu cheese crumbles There was a huge anchovy in my non- Cesaer salad. Dessert took 25 minutes to arrive at my table. Food and service are usually spot on but even with minimal guests, what started out as attentive service soon deteriorated.
I visited Morton's during DC restaurant week (which most likely accounts for the noise level) and loved the food and service. The double cut pork chop was amazing- the best I've had! I would recommend Morton's for a special night (especially if you love wine because their selection is extensive).
We had a reservation for a birthday. We had a 16-month old with us and let the waitress know that we wanted to order right away so his parents could feed him and get home as soon as possible. Our reservation was at 6:45. Once we ordered it was a full hour before they brought food. The dad was very upset and repeatedly asked for their food to be packaged to go so they could leave. Ideal to bring a baby to Morton’s? No, but the birthday person was thrilled that they came. Dinner was wonderful and the parents eventually got their food and took it home. Just was a downer to have a family riff over something that would have been easy IF they put our order in and respected our request to expedite because of the baby. The dad was furious and insisted the waitress forgot to put our order in. Oh well, lesson learned.
Amazing ! 4th visit tonight, and is officially the Most consistent service, food, and environment in the area. Highly recommend!

Three of our four steaks were cold. We told the waiter and he offered to stick them back on the grill. Never once did a manager come by or any offer to take anything off the meal. I expect better from Morton's.
